Newly single Jessica Hart dares to bare in completely sheer frock at Australian Fashion Week after split from race car driver James Kirkham

Daily Mail14-05-2025
Jessica Hart was commanding attention at Australian Fashion Week.
The 39-year-old stunned in a sheer frock as she arrived for day three of the event in Sydney on Wednesday.
The model went out without her diamond engagement ring after her reported split from race car driver fiancé James Kirkham.
Jessica dared to bare in the completely see through maxi dress which featured a scarf detail at the high neckline.
The frock included a sheer flared skirt, and underneath she wore a skimpy black bodysuit.
The stunner had on a pair of unusual heels which were also constructed of a see through black fabric.
She swept her blonde locks off her face for a wet look and added a pair of gold hoop earrings.
Jessica finished the look with a glass skin makeup look with a bold red lip and peachy tones.
It comes after news that the Australian model's high-octane romance with her American race car driver fiancé seems to have well and truly burned out.
Following an almighty row inside their $368,000 Mercedes-AMG G-Class earlier this year, Daily Mail Australia obtained photos showing the fallout.
NASCAR speedster James, who shares two children with Jessica, let himself into a luxury villa located a suburb away from the couple's Hollywood Hills home.
A day earlier the Aussie Victoria's Secret stunner stepped out without her engagement ring, looking visibly distraught as she took a phone call.
Jessica almost married Greek shipping scion Stavros Niarchos III before bonding with tattooed single-father James over their shared love of fast cars in 2019, accepting his proposal at her baby shower for their first child.
Weeks later their daughter Baby-Rae Kirkham was born, and seven months after that Jessica revealed she was pregnant with son Glorious, born in February 2022.
But since then the glamorous couple's six-year romance appears to have run out of fuel.
The pair have unfollowed or blocked each other on Instagram, and had not been pictured together since the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, in October - until exclusive photos of their confrontation emerged.
During the row, Jessica looked visibly concerned during an intense phone conversation as she walked through a parking lot wearing a long sleeve Saint Michael tee and carrying a lavender bag by former Céline creative director Phoebe Philo.
Her ringless finger was on display during the emotional conversation, and after hanging up was escorted to her own vehicle by a valet parking attendant.
Jessica then drove off without him, prompting him to run after the car.
'James caught up with Jessica's car and she stopped again and he got in the front passenger seat,' an eyewitness told us.
'They argued for another 20 minutes then James got out of the car again and ran towards the house.'
While it's unclear what the couple was arguing about, a cursory glance of their Instagram accounts suggests their relationship could be in serious trouble.
She swept her blonde locks off her face for a wet look and added a pair of gold hoop earrings
Jessica and James no longer appear on each other's followers' lists, which either means they've unfollowed each other, or gone a step further and hit the block button.
They have also been mysteriously absent from each other's Instagram grids in recent months.
The couple first started dating in early 2019 after Jessica joined Mercedes-Benz's AMG Academy, which helps to train motoring enthusiasts how to race, and was immediately drawn to the NASCAR star.
Romance soon blossomed and they announced they were expecting their first child together in September 2020.
Just a month later, James got down on one knee and proposed to the Victoria's Secret model at their baby shower.
Weeks after that, they welcomed their daughter, Baby-Rae Kirkham, on November 17.
Their child's name made headlines at the time. Jessica explained it came from Jennifer Grey's character 'Baby' from the 1987 film Dirty Dancing.
Her middle name, Rae, was a nod to Jessica's mother.
Seven months later, the blonde revealed she was pregnant again and their son Glorious was born on February 2, 2022.
Jessica, whose sister is model Ash Hart, is also a stepmother to James' nine-year-old daughter, Wren, from a previous relationship.
Before meeting James, the Vogue cover girl had dated fellow Australian Nicolas Potts, with whom she appeared in the first season of the MTV reality show The City.
She was also in a relationship with Stavros Niarchos III, the grandson of Stavros Niarchos, the Greek billionaire shipping tycoon best known for being the arch-rival of Aristotle Onassis, from 2011 to 2017.

One month in the life of a retired rugby player: DAN BIGGAR on taking in the Lions tour as an outsider and making memories at the Steve Irwin Zoo

It's my first full month as a retired rugby player and I must say I'm loving it so far. When I was a schoolboy, my late mum took me out to Australia to watch the 2003 Rugby World Cup and it feels a bit like I've come full circle. I'm out here with my wife, Alex, and our two children, Ollie and James. They're seven and two so we've got our hands full! We've got two Queen beds in the room so the little one's in the cot and we have two beds for the rest of us and there's bags sprawled out all over the floor. Alex is in the gym three or four mornings a week when I look after the kids. It's been nice to have a little bit of a break from that training routine. I'll get into a bit more running and padel when I get home. I've not put on any weight just yet! It's a totally different experience to touring as a player. When you're part of an elite team like the Lions, you have someone picking up your bags and telling you where to be. You're in a bit of a bubble and everything is so easy. You realise how fortunate you are when you're in a squad environment because literally everything gets done for you. They have so many staff, there are advanced parties, your bags are waiting for your in your hotel room. It's completely different. But it's been an incredible experience. We've been to the Sydney Opera House, visited some friends who came out here on holiday 10 years ago and never went back. On Monday we stayed at the hunter's lodge at the Steve Irwin Zoo in Brisbane. I hope they're memories my kids cherish, just like I cherish those memories from 2003. In Canberra last week, I got the chance to speak to Steven Larkham. He was the star of the Wallabies when I came here in 2003 so that was a bit of a pinch me moment. It was like meeting an idol. I've loved working with Ronan O'Gara on the Sky Sports commentary, too. We've had a bit of a family golf competition with the O'Garas. He's brought his family out too and our kids love playing together, so that's a real bonus. ROG has been retired 13 years now. He hasn't played with any of the guys he's commentating on out here. For me, I know a lot of them quite well so it's quite an unusual dynamic. I like to think I call it as I see it, but it's definitely harder. When I go to watch the kicking session, I've got a lot of good friends out there - guys like Fin Smith - but it does feel like you're very much on the outside now. I got moved along by the media manager in Canberra the other day - he told me I've gone to the dark side! You just have to accept that. You see the unglamourous side of it but I have really enjoyed it. I've had the chance to sit down with Blair Kinghorn, Jamison Gibson-Park and Henry Pollock. You prep for those interviews like you prep for a game. You can't rock up and blag it because you'll like foolish. Prepping your questions, knowing what the players are like, how they've been performing. We flew with Qatar Airways in their Qsuites. The kids crashed out in the double bed and I logged onto the Starlink Wi-Fi on my laptop and watched hours of analysis clips. The production guys were sending me videos and I could download them rapid quick. It was unreal! From taking off in Paris, the whole experience has been unreal. There are a few things on the pitch I haven't agreed with - I'm surprised Kyle Sinckler hasn't been called up given the reinforcements they've been flying out - but that's the beauty of sport. There's always debate. I'm sure there will be plenty more debate over the next few weeks - and I'm backing the Lions to win the series 3-0!

The surprise Aussie star tipped to play mushroom murderer Erin Patterson in true crime series

Rumours are circulating that a certain Aussie actress could be in the running to play Erin Patterson in a true crime TV series. Mandy McElhinney, 54, has been tipped to play the recently-convicted 'mushroom killer', with Netflix reportedly earmarking the actress for a possible movie. 'Mandy's perfect for the role of Erin,' a close source told Woman's Day. 'She's very talented and experienced with dramatic roles.' The Perth-born actress has appeared in a number of films, including Ned Kelly, Love Child and Hancock, while also becoming a household name through her portrayal of Rhonda in the famous AAMI commercials. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It has not yet been confirmed whether Netflix will be bringing the mushroom murders to the screen, or if Mandy will appear in a possible project as the leading lady. However, it is known that some of the largest streaming platforms are hoping to be the first to cover the controversial murders. Stan is said to have a three-part docuseries in the works called Death Cap, which is set to hit screens in 2025. Last week, Erin Patterson was found guilty of murdering her three in-laws with death cap mushrooms in a beef Wellington that she served them for lunch at her home. The verdict marked the end of one of Australia's most intriguing homicide cases. The mother-of-two sat defiantly throughout her 10-week trial, glaring at the media, members of the public and the family of the people she murdered with callous disregard. Patterson had pleaded not guilty to the murders of Don and Gail Patterson, and Gail's sister, Heather Wilkinson. They died after consuming death caps in the beef Wellingtons during lunch at Patterson's Leongatha home in southeast Victoria on July 29, 2023. Last week, Erin Patterson was found guilty of murdering her three in-laws with death cap mushrooms in a beef Wellington that she served them for lunch at her home Only Pastor Ian Wilkinson survived her plot - a blunder Patterson would live to regret, and will now serve time for after also being found guilty of attempting to murder him. Seated at the back of courtroom four of the Supreme Court of Victoria, sitting at the Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court, Patterson, dressed in a paisley shirt, appeared stunned as her fate was sealed that Monday afternoon. Asked to deliver a verdict, the jury foreperson - one of only five women to sit on the original 15-person panel - simply stated, 'guilty'. Patterson can expect to spend the next decades of her life caged within the walls of Dame Phyllis Frost Centre in Melbourne's west alongside a rogue's gallery of female killers.

Brian Lara names the best bowler he faced during glittering West Indies career

Legendary West Indies batsman Brian Lara has named Shane Warne as the best bowler he faced during his glittering career. The West Indies legend played in an era of prolific bowlers but mentioned Warne alongside Sri Lanka spinner Muttiah Muralitharan when asked about the best bowlers he came up against. Lara was speaking on The Overlap and Betfair 's 'Stick to Cricket' show alongside Sir Alastair Cook, Phil Tufnell and Michael Vaughan, and when asked if Warne would be 'one of the best you've faced', the former batsman immediately responded: 'He is the best.' 'I'd walk out to bat against Murali [Muttiah Muralitharan], and I'm confused. The first half an hour of Murali, I'd be confused, said Lara. 'Murali gave me more pressure than Shane. But I'd walk out to bat against Shane, the ball would be coming off the middle, every ball, and then about 2pm, 3pm, he just produces this magical delivery, or spell. 'And that's why I rate him higher, because I think he was mentally stronger, and obviously with his bowling attack and the pitches that he bowled on, which favoured the McGraths [and other fast bowlers], for him to pick up that amount of wickets, [is] very special.' Warne took 708 wickets across 145 Test matches for Australia between 1992 and 2007, and is widely regarded as one of the best bowlers of all time. He worked in various roles including cricket commentary after his retirement, but sadly died of a heart attack in 2022 aged just 52. When asked by David Lloyd whether he 'got on' with Warne, Lara replied: 'Of course! We had a great time together'. Lara, who scored a total of 11,953 runs across 131 Test matches, holds the record for the most runs scored in a single Test innings – having tallied 400 against England in Antigua in 2004 – and recently saw that record preserved after South Africa captain Wiaan Muller opted to declare on 367 against Zimbabwe.
