Israel to Approve Massive Reservist Call-Up to Seize Gaza City
If approved, the total number of mobilized reservists could reach 430,000 by the end of November, according to public broadcaster Kan. Channel 13 said the move is part of a broader plan already given initial approval by the Israeli security cabinet on Friday, aimed at taking complete control of the Gaza Strip.
The plan reportedly begins with the displacement of nearly one million Gaza City residents to the south, followed by an encirclement of the city and incursions into residential neighborhoods.
A second phase would target the refugee camps in central Gaza, large parts of which have already been reduced to rubble. Channel 13 said the army intends to employ heavy firepower while simultaneously transferring segments of the population southward.
Despite government backing, the proposal faces stiff opposition from senior Israeli military officials. The Hebrew broadcaster reported that unnamed top commanders sharply criticized the plan, warning that 'the war has turned into a vehicle sinking in the sand.'
Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has previously described the plan as a 'strategic trap' that would bog down the army for years and place hostages in greater danger.
International concerns over the offensive are mounting. The United Nations says 87 percent of Gaza's territory is already under occupation or evacuation orders, warning that any further expansion would have 'catastrophic consequences.'
On Saturday, the foreign ministers of Italy, Australia, Germany, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom issued a joint statement opposing the plan to seize Gaza City.
'This would exacerbate the catastrophic humanitarian situation, endanger the lives of captives, and increase the risk of mass displacement of civilians,' the statement read.

11 Palestinians Arrested in Widespread Israeli Raids Across West Bank
DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of raids across several West Bank governorates early on Wednesday, detaining at least 11 Palestinians, including freed prisoners, young men, and teenagers. The Israeli attacks involved house searches, property damage, road closures, and military checkpoints. In Nablus, twin brothers Nasr and Nasser Al-Shaer and released prisoner Ayyam Aqel were arrested in the town of Sebastia. At the same time, Muhannad Al-Fawzan was detained in the village of Aqraba. In Qalqilya, the army detained ex-prisoner Mahmoud Titan, Ali Damati, Khidr Hotari, and released prisoner Jamal Titan following house raids. In Hebron, 17-year-old Abdullah Wael Harbi Abu Ayyash was arrested in Beit Ummar. Released prisoner Qassam Mousa Halaika was also taken into custody in Al-Sheikh, while his father, released prisoner Mousa Halaika, was briefly detained and later released. Roads were blocked with gates, concrete barriers, and earthen embankments, and checkpoints were installed throughout the governorate. Additional raids were reported in Tulkarem, Bethlehem, and Occupied Jerusalem, where Palestinian homes were searched and residents temporarily detained. The raids came as part of daily Israeli attacks in the West Bank, which frequently involve house searches, property damage, and arrests. Human rights groups report that approximately 10,800 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails, the highest number since the Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2000. The total includes 49 female prisoners, over 450 children, 3,613 administrative detainees, and 2,378 others. Shortlink for this post:

IOF Escalates Genocide, Entire family killed in Gaza
DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) escalated crimes of genocide across areas of the Gaza Strip, where Gaza health sources said that the IOF killed an entire family by bombing their tent in Gaza's Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, killing seven people, including 5 children, early Wednesday. The Israeli attack struck an encampment near the University College in southwest Gaza City, where families had sought refuge from weeks of intensified bombardment. Al-Quds Hospital, operated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, confirmed that rescue teams recovered the bodies of the victims, all from the Abu Hanideq family: Fatima Nimer Abu Hanideq, Ashraf Ahmad Abu Hanideq, Ahmad Zuhair Abu Hanideq, Mona Zuhair Abu Hanideq, Mohammed Zuhair Abu Hanideq, Ali Majed Abu Hanideq, and Ahmad Majed Abu Hanideq. The latest strike comes as Israeli forces have escalated attacks on southern Gaza City in recent days, using airstrikes, artillery fire, and building demolitions that have left dozens dead and wounded, forcing more residents to flee. Medical sources said Wednesday's overall death toll across the Gaza Strip had climbed to 12, including five people killed while attempting to collect humanitarian aid. The war, which has now entered its 677th consecutive day, has devastated Gaza's civilian population. Israeli bombardments and a blockade preventing food and medicine from entering have targeted children, women, hospitals, ambulances, and journalists. According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, between October 7, 2023, and August 6, 2025, at least 61,158 Palestinians have been killed and 151,442 wounded in the ongoing Israeli genocide. Moreover, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs confirmed the figures, while media reports indicate the death toll includes 227 people who died from starvation, among them 103 children. Human rights organizations have condemned the strikes and blockade as collective punishment, warning of an escalating humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. Shortlink for this post:

IOF Razes One-Third of Jenin Refugee Camp, Displaces More Residents
DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have demolished one-third of the Jenin Refugee Camp in the northern West Bank and declared that residents will never be allowed to return, in what Palestinian officials say is a systematic campaign of forced displacement. Former Jenin Mayor Nidal Al-Obeidi stated on Monday that the Israeli violations amount to 'a deliberate attempt to erase the camp from the map.' Al-Obeidi said the military not only barred residents from returning but also threatened to destroy any new structures built in the demolished zone, 'to impose a new reality on the ground.' According to Al-Obeidi, more than one-third of the camp's pre-assault population of 19,000 people will be permanently displaced from their homes and neighborhoods, where Palestinian families have lived for generations. He condemned the move as a flagrant violation of international law, calling on the international community to urgently intervene to halt the Israeli crimes, which amount to war crimes. Al-Obeidi said Israeli forces used bulldozers, armored vehicles, and drones to flatten the targeted areas, dismantling all essential infrastructure, including water, electricity, and sewage networks. Dozens of homes were leveled to the ground, he added, creating 'an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe' inside the camp. The destruction in Jenin, he warned, is not an isolated incident but part of a broader Israeli plan to dismantle Palestinian refugee camps across the West Bank, citing their political and historical significance to the Palestinian cause and the right of return. 'The refugee camps have always been and will remain a witness to the Nakba and a symbol of our people's resilience and determination to return,' Al-Obeidi said. 'Any attempt to erase them will fail, because their memory is etched in the hearts of Palestinians generation after generation.' He added. Shortlink for this post:
