General Hospital Spoilers May 21: The Nurses' Ball Heats Up As Lulu Spies on Lois
In addition to the Nurses' Ball performances beginning, General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, May 21, 2025, include Lulu watching Lois's every move and Anna executing her plan.
Now that Lulu (Alexa Havins) investigated Gio's past and found proof that Camilla wasn't pregnant when Gio (Giovanni Mazza) was born, Lulu is damn sure she has all the dots connected. And to her credit, she does, mostly. She knows Lois (Rena Sofer) is the key to getting complete 100% confirmation, so on the night of the Nurses' Ball, Lulu watches Lois's every move.
What she is dead wrong about, however, is the fact that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has no knowledge of Gio being her biological child. Unfortunately, Lulu only thinks of Brook Lynn as a liar and can't believe that she would raise Gio in plain sight. And while Brook Lynn has lied to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) for decades(!), she hasn't lied about that. The Quartermaine princess has no idea that Gio is her son.
This must all happen while the Nurses' Ball performances begin. So far, we've seen Anna (Finola Hughes), Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Tracy (Jane Elliot), and Lucy (Lynn Herring) rehearse. Anna and Chase (Josh Swickard) are doing some sort of tango routine. Gio will be accompanying them on his violin. We even saw a flash of Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) getting his hip-hop dance on. And Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) will be up there on that NB stage as well. Plus, Donna (Scarlett Spears) is involved in a kids' number. Who will kick off the performances? And what surprises are in store?

While Anna executes her plan she cooked up during Tuesday's episode, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) has some choice words for Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Yes, she is Michael's brother, but she doesn't need to get involved in this mess of a situation. But after she broke up the catfight between Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Carly (Laura Wright), her mom told her everything that was about to happen.

This includes the impending divorce trial/custody hearing date, and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) being a bad mom for moving the kids in with Drew (Cameron Mathison). Plus, the fact that Carly will file for emergency custody, etc. So, how heated will things get between Joss and Willow?
And you bet Kristina (Kate Mansi) is stunned. After all, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) just filled her in on the big secret that she knows Kristina tried to kill Ava (Maura West), but got Ric (Rick Hearst) instead. And that Ava and Ric know what she did, too. There's no other reaction she could have. Do you think this means she will stop antagonizing Ric, or will she double down on her anger at him and Ava? And now the question is: when will Molly (Kristen Vaganos) find out?

Jonathan Jackson's General Hospital Exit, Explained: ‘The Hope Was to Stay On Longer'
The end of Jonathan Jackson's latest General Hospital run came as a bit of a surprise to fans of the long-running ABC sudser, in part because the five-time Daytime Emmy winner has only been back for nine months. The brevity of his encore surprised Jackson, as well. More from TVLine Casting News: GH Brings Back Kelly Thiebaud, Love Story Adds 3 and More Samuel L. Jackson to Star in Tulsa King Spinoff NOLA King at Paramount+ Casting News: Jonathan Jackson's GH Exit, Paige Quits Summer House and More Jackson shared with TV Insider, 'No, it wasn't' his intention to leave just nine months in; rather, he and GH had made 'a real, sincere attempt… to make it work for a longer period of time. The hope was to be able to stay on longer.' In the end, what Jackson called an 'experiment' — to travel between his home in Tennessee and workplace in Los Angeles — proved not to be tenable. 'There were moments where I thought, 'I can find this balance with the family' — wife Lisa Vultaggio (ex-Hannah, GH) and their three kids, age 21, 20 and 14 — 'and time back and forth,' and then you just have to pray about it and try to do what you feel is right,' he said. 'We gave it our best shot, but we weren't able to keep it going.' 'I have to say that none of this would have happened at all if [GH executive producer] Frank [Valentini] wasn't so open and helpful to even get it this far,' Jackson noted. 'So that's definitely something I've been extremely blessed by. Valentini himself said in a statement last week, 'We were so glad Jonathan was able to reprise the role of Lucky, even if it was for a limited time. We wish him nothing but the best and the door is always open for Jonathan to return.' Jackson last airs on GH sometime this week. Setting the stage for Lucky's latest sendoff was longtime love Elizabeth's (Rebecca Herbst) turn-down of his marriage proposal in the June 5 episode, knowing that he wouldn't be content to stay put in Port Charles.
