The daughter of Shantanu Debnath, a consultant with a BE and MBA background, and Rajeshwari Debnath, a postgraduate homemaker, Ishani credits her family and school for their unwavering support. 'The encouragement from my school principal, the constant guidance from teachers, and my parents' belief in me helped me stay focused and motivated,' she said.Rajeshwari, her mother, revealed that Ishani had drawn up a detailed daily study plan, pinned to the wall of her room. 'She followed it diligently, balancing study with family time and occasional movie breaks. Whatever goal she set, she worked hard to accomplish it. We are incredibly proud of her,' she said.advertisementHer father, Shantanu, added, 'Despite scoring 97.20% in Class 10, many suggested she should opt for Science. But we supported her choice to pursue Humanities. She never took external tuitions—her learning was primarily guided by her school, and she self-studied three to four hours daily.'Looking ahead, Ishani aims to pursue Psychology at a top-tier institution in India, with plans to apply to leading colleges in Delhi and Mumbai. 'We're committed to supporting her journey and helping her realise her dreams,' her father said.This year, CBSE announced that 88.39% of students passed the Class 12 board exams. In Gujarat, the success rate was even higher, with 92.96% students clearing the examination—up by 4.57% from last year.

His father works as an engineer with BSNL, and his mother teaches at a college in Kota, Rajasthan, making education an integral part of his home behind him, securing the second position nationwide, was Sakshyam Jindal from Hisar, Haryana. Like Rajit, he also studied at the Allen Career Institute in Kota, known for its exceptional coaching for engineering aspirants . Sakshyam credited his success to persistent efforts and unwavering faith in his mentors. His preparation leaned more heavily toward physics and chemistry, as he already felt confident in mathematics. Regularly reviewing his mock test performances helped him manage pressure and fine-tune his preparation female candidates, Devdutta Majhi from the IIT Kharagpur zone achieved the highest rank, securing an impressive 16th position in the Common Rank List (CRL) with a score of 312 out of for their future aspirations, both Rajit and Sakshyam expressed their desire to pursue engineering at the prestigious IIT Bombay. Interestingly, Sakshyam mentioned he has no immediate plans to study abroad. These modules will cover various topics including digital technology, cleanliness, environment, sports, democracy and cultural heritage. They aim to make learning interesting and effective through stories, case studies, quizzes and interactive activities. Digital India: In the primary level module, children will be introduced to digital payments like UPI apps. While at the middle and higher level, students will be taught about digital platforms like DigiLocker, Aadhaar, Ayushman Bharat, Umang App. This module will also include a story about a jewelery artisan from Rajasthan showing how small businesses are also benefiting from government digital resources. Mental Health and Digital Helpline: This module will tell the story of a student named Rewa, who handles her emotions using the National Mental Health Helpline Tele Manas. The story is an attempt to explain the importance of mental health among children and youth. Democracy and Electoral traditions: Students will be informed about the evolution of India's democracy from its inception to modern electoral institutions. The focus will be on the idea of ​​welfare state in Kautilya's Arthashastra. COVID-19: This module uses pictures, activities and science-based modelling to explain the symptoms of the pandemic and prevention methods to children. For higher secondary students, activities will include creating a 3D model of the virus and interacting with affected people. Heritage and Development: This module introduces children to the cultural heritage of India, such as Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi and Kamakhya Temple in Assam. It also encourages understanding of culture through stories related to monuments and multilingual vocabulary.
