Surbhi Jyoti Drops Fun Photo Of Sumit Suri From Flight: ‘Sleepy Husband Alert'
Television actress Surbhi Jyoti embarked on a journey to an undisclosed destination alongside her husband, Sumit Suri. The Qubool Hai actress, who is a travel enthusiast at heart, yet again began delighting her fans with stunning glimpses right from the beginning of her vacation. She initially shared a picture from the Mumbai airport and asked her Instagram community, 'Where am I off to?" with options: London, Paris and New York.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Surbhi Jyoti also captured a leisure moment from her air travel, featuring her husband and actor Sumit Suri. The 14 Phere star was seen comfortably reclined in what appears to be a spacious, private cabin on the flight. Atop the snap, the caption read, 'Sleepy husband alert" alongside a music by 'Rabbit Music9" titled 'Lazy Bunny," adding a lighthearted touch to the note.
Surbhi Jyoti was set for a comfy sleep during her flight travel
Ahead of this story, the Naagin actress has also shared a picture of herself being seated in the lounge section of the airport before boarding the flight. Dressed in a comfortable brown ensemble, she was seen looking tired and posing for the lens while resting her head in her hands. Alongside the photo, she wrote, 'SLEEPY BUT HAPPY", suggesting her then-current state or feeling.
Following this, she was seen relaxing in the business suit of her flight and flaunting her huge smile while posing for the lens. Alongside the picture, she wrote in Hindi, 'Now no one can stop me from sleeping," but what she did next, instead of resting, is widely relatable to many travellers.
Surbhi Jyoti's in-flight entertainment
The actress also shared a snap of the in-flight entertainment system's screen in front of her, which showcased the classic Bollywood film Trishul being played on it. Directed by Yash Chopra, the 1978 movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjeev Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Hema Malini and Raakhee in key roles. Surbhi captioned the snap in Hindi as 'Bollywood even in the clouds," indicating that she was enjoying the movie instead of sleeping during her travel hours.
Coming to Surbhi's professional front, Surbhi was last seen as Tara in the 2024 web series titled Gunah.

‘Mayasabha' is a poor man's ‘RRR': Deva Katta at film trailer launch
A high-stakes political drama is all set to hit OTT screens next month. Mayasabha: Rise of the Titans, an intense Telugu political thriller starring Aadhi Pinisetty and Chaitanya Rao, is slated to premiere on August 7 on SonyLIV. Directed by Deva Katta and Kiran Jay Kumar, the web series will also be available in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. Set in Andhra Pradesh, Mayasabha follows the gripping journey of two idealistic men—Kakarla Krishnama Naidu (KKN) played by Aadhi Pinisetty and MS Rami Reddy (MSR) played by Chaitanya Rao—who begin as allies, driven by a common goal to bring change. But as they climb the political ladder, power and ambition begin to tear them apart. The emergence of a film star-turned-leader, Jagarlamudi Dharmendar Rao (JDR), adds fuel to the fire, triggering a political war that spans decades and reshapes the fate of a state. SonyLIV shared the trailer on Instagram, captioning it, 'A friendship tested by ambition. A rivalry that redefined leadership. A story that changed the fate of a state.' Boasting a powerful ensemble cast including Sai Kumar, Divya Dutta, Nasser, Tanya Ravichandran, Ravindra Vijay, and Bhavna Vazhapandal, Mayasabha promises layered performances and a compelling narrative rooted in political reality. Filmmaker Deva Katta, known for Prasthanam, makes his web series debut with this show. Drawing inspiration from real-life Andhra Pradesh leaders N. Chandrababu Naidu and Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, Katta described the series at the trailer launch as 'a poor man's RRR,' emphasizing the scale and emotion packed into the project. Mayasabha is poised to deliver an emotional, dramatic, and politically charged ride when it begins streaming this August.
