No press conference
WWE announced they will no longer hold press conferences after premium live events.
This comes as Brock Lesnar returned to the company at SummerSlam to set up a feud with John Cena.
That is despite being named in ex-WWE employee Janel Grant's federal lawsuit filed against the pro wrestling giants and former owner Vince McMahon.
The 10-time world champion is not listed as a defendant in the lawsuit.
McMahon resigned from WWE after he was hit with disturbing allegations of sexual assault, trafficking and physical abuse by Grant last year.

Karoline Leavitt gives glimpse into family life with personal post

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has offered a glimpse into her personal life after posting a picture of her newborn son on Instagram. The 27-year-old posted a picture of her one-year-old child, Nicholas "Niko" Robert Riccio, on Monday. Though the child's face was not visible, the picture focused on his babygrow – which featured a picture of a cartoon farm and a sheep. 'Home is where my mama is,' the shirt read. 'This shirt,' Leavitt captioned the photo, alongside a teary-eyed emoji and a blue heart. Leavitt shares her son with her 59-year-old husband Nicholas Riccio, though is not often public with the child. In an Instagram post celebrating her son's first birthday, Leavitt described the child as 'my sweet, happy, sensitive, funny, and handsome baby.' 'What a year it has been. There are no words to describe how much I love this little boy. I thank God every day for making me his mommy.' She has also shared several posts featuring the child previously. The post comes after social media users raised eyebrows about remarks made about Leavitt by Donald Trump, which many described as 'creepy.' In an interview Friday the president offered high, if not slightly uncomfortable, praise for his press secretary, complimenting 'that face' and 'those lips.' The president gave the unorthodox compliments during a sit down with Newsmax in response to Leavitt's claim that he should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his self-claimed success since returning to office. 'She's become a star. It's that face. It's that brain. It's those lips, the way they move. They move like she's a machine gun,' Trump said. 'She's a great person, actually. But she's – I don't think anybody has ever had a better press secretary than Karoline. She's been amazing.' 'Will ANYONE in the MSM ask him or the White House about this incredibly bizarre, creepy, cringey comment? Of course not,' wrote one user. 'It's amazing how his 'super Christian-y' base just love that he's such a creepy old pervert,' added another. A third wrote: 'If any man said this on the job about a fellow employee, they'd be fired instantly, and the company sued.' Leavitt is Trump's fifth press secretary overall, though remains the only one from his second term so far.

Apple... cinemas? Tech giant sues movie theater chain

Apple is suing another fruit-named company — Apple Cinemas — in an attempt to get the small theater company to change its name. Apple Cinemas has reportedly signed a lease to take over a historic cinema and a retail space in San Francisco that had previously been operated by AMC Theaters and CGV Cinemas. The purchase is part of Apple Cinema's overall goal of expanding to 100 locations across the country over the next 10 years. Apple entered a lawsuit on Friday in Massachusetts alleging that the theater company is infringing on its trademark and using its brand to trick consumers into thinking they're attending a cinema operated by the tech company. Apple does have a cinema division — Apple Studios — which it began in 2019, but Apple has been offering movie-adjacent entertainment since 1999 via its QuickTime Movie Trailers. The tech company also held cinema events, including some in connection with the Tribeca Film Festival. The cinema company began its operations in 2013 when it opened its first theater in Massachusetts. The company says its name is from it's initial plans to open its first theater in the Apple Valley Mall in New England, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The company primarily operated in the northeast until it laid out its plans to expand to San Francisco and other parts of the country in 2024. Sand Media — Apple Cinema's parent company — filed an application for the name "Apple Cinematic Experience" but was denied. A trademark examiner ruled that the name might cause confusion between Apple Cinemas and the tech company. Apple responded to that branding attempt by sending Sand Media a cease and desist letter. It further claims that Apple Cinemas began using a stylized apple for its logo and began focusing its expansion on malls and shopping centers where Apple Stores were already present. According to the lawsuit, the similar names resulted in landlords at these locations assuming that Apple Cinemas was affiliated with the tech brand. Apple alleges that Apple Cinemas was given favorable deals to open in some areas as a result of the presumed connection. Further driving the tech giant's lawsuit are claims that some customers have had negative experiences with Apple Cinemas. Some customers have complained that the theaters are "greasy," "dirty" and "grungy" and are at times beset by technical issues. 'Consumers should not go to an 'Apple Cinemas' theater thinking it is connected to the famous Apple brand, with all its goodwill and brand equity,' Miranda Means, an attorney representing Apple, stated in the lawsuit. Apple's goals with its lawsuit are to force the theater chain to stop using the word "Apple" in its name. It is also seeking damages, though the amount was unspecified.

Breast milk-inspired ice cream for sale: ‘Just like mom used to make'

A breast milk -inspired ice cream is now available for sale nationwide, and the makers say it's 'Just like mom used to make.' The ice cream — made by Frida, a parent product company, and OddFellows, a New York -based small-batch ice cream company — is not made with breast milk, but its flavors mimic the real thing. 'Our ice cream is lightly sweet, a little salty, with hints of honey and a dash of colostrum,' Frida said on its website. 'And while it's not actually made with human milk, we think our recipe tastes pretty close to the real deal.' Colostrum is a yellow-tinted, thick and milky liquid that a mother's body produces after giving birth, according to the Mayo Clinic. It's filled with nutrients and is high in antibodies and antioxidants, the Cleveland Clinic says. The 'liquid gold,' as it's sometimes referred to, can be sold as supplements. The ice cream, which has a yellow tinge, is now available for a limited time online. Customers must buy two pints for $12.99 each when purchasing the ice cream online. The offer runs until August 10, 'so latch on fast!' Frida says. Frida is releasing pints daily, and on Tuesday, it was out of stock, telling customers to 'check back tomorrow!' If you live in New York City, you can also try a free scoop of the breast milk ice cream at a Brooklyn pop-up event from August 5 through 10. While some may be hesitant to try such an interesting flavor social media users seemed to be interested. On an Instagram post about the pop-up event, Rif Care, an organic period product company, wrote, 'Hear me out- its actually delicious don't knock it til you try it.' One Instagram user wrote: 'Lol one time my family and I made milkshakes with my breastmilk. I'm all for it.' 'They turned the liquid gold into ICE CREAM !?!? Okayyy,' another said. Content creator Lissette Calveiro, who is a mom, wrote: 'Besties ship me some!!'
