Jordon Hudson sparks Bill Belichick engagement buzz with ring sighting

New York Post7 days ago

Well, this certainly isn't going to slow down the engagement speculation.
Bill Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was seen Saturday at Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina wearing what appeared to be a ring on her left ring finger, according to photos snapped by TMZ.
The sighting comes less than a week after The New York Times reported that the former college cheerleader 'has told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married.'

TMZ cautioned, however, 'It's hard to make out if this is a big diamond engagement ring or not.'
Hudson, whose romance with Belichick, 73, was revealed last summer, has been spending ample time in North Carolina as the NFL legend prepares for his first season as head football coach of the Tar Heels.
Belichick, an eight-time Super Bowl winner, has fueled engagement buzz himself after his boat received an update from 'VIII Rings' to 'I +VIII Rings,' photos showed last week.

The couple's romance has been highly scrutinized recently, as Hudson stopped a question about how they met during Belichick's much-maligned 'CBS Sunday Morning' interview in late April.
When asked about the early days of their romance, Hudson told interviewer Tony Dokoupil, 'We're not talking about this.'
The fallout was swift, with former ESPN personality Pablo Torre launching a series of allegations against Hudson, claiming there's a 'deep worry' from Belichick's family over her impact on his legacy.

'There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina but Bill's legacy, reputation — everything he has built and worked for over decades,' one family source told Torre on an early May installment of his 'Pablo Torre Finds Out' program.
Last week, Torre dove into viral Ring camera footage of Belichick that originally circulated in 2023 and claimed it was from a stay at an Airbnb with Hudson.
In 2024, when Belichick's relationship with Hudson was revealed, reports swirled that he had been exiting a residence owned by her.
'We saw the Ring video in the morning, not knowing who this was, but it was an older gentleman with a very young woman who checked in the night before,' the female owner told Torre on a recent installment of 'Pablo Torre Finds Out.'

Hudson fired back at Torre in a since-deleted message last Friday when she shared what appeared to be a purported text exchange with the Airbnb owner.
'Pablo Torre's 'findings' have been nothing short of factually incorrect, slanderous, defamatory and targeted,' she wrote, as captured by TMZ. 'Can y'all please stop giving credibility to this 'reporter'?'
Torre responded to Hudson's post Sunday on X and said he stands by the reporting.
'I find it bizarrely appropriate, at this point, that Jordon Hudson would post this and then very quickly delete it. But to be perfectly clear: I stand by our reporting and the episodes we published,' he wrote.
Prior to his romance with Hudson, Belichick was in a long-term relationship with Linda Holliday, with news of the breakup emerging in 2023.
TMZ revealed last week Hudson was confronted by Holliday at a Nantucket holiday party last December.

Oklahoma beats North Carolina to force winner-take-all game Monday

Oklahoma beats North Carolina to force winner-take-all game Monday The UNC baseball team faces a must-win game on Monday. The North Carolina Tar Heels' baseball program will be playing for its season on Monday in Chapel Hill. After entering Sunday's regional final with a 2-0 record, fresh off a big win over Oklahoma, the Tar Heels now face a do-or-die deciding game on Monday after falling to the Sooners 9-5 on Sunday night. North Carolina fell behind in the bottom of the third when Oklahoma took a 1-0 lead. They did battle back to tie the game with a run in the top of the fourth, but the Sooners answered back with a run of their own. The Tar Heels then took the lead in the top of the fifth on a Gavin Gallaher two-out double that plated two runs and gave UNC the 3-2 advantage. It was short lived, however. A few walks and then an error allowed Oklahoma to score five runs in the bottom of the sixth and the Sooners didn't look back, grabbing the lead for good. The Sooners got a two-run home run, a double and a single to plate five in that inning, which was the backbreaker for the Tar Heels. Although UNC answered back with two runs in the top of the seventh, the Sooners plated one run in the seventh and eighth innings. They also kept UNC scoreless in the eighth after the Tar Heels loaded the bases with no outs, threatening to tie or take the lead. UNC's pitching struggled, walking nine batters as the Tar Heels used starter Aidan Haugh and five relievers throughout the game. Haugh gave up just the one earned run in 3.2 innings pitched. The Tar Heels' lineup also struggled as the two through six hitters had just four hits with Gallaher having three of those hits. The loss now forces the winner-take-all game on Monday in Chapel Hill with the winner punching their ticket to the super regional. Due to NCAA rules, Oklahoma will be designated as the home team. Jayden Daniels 'Holding Commanders To A Standard' With Super Bowl Goals

Jayden Daniels 'Holding Commanders To A Standard' With Super Bowl Goals originally appeared on Athlon Sports. It is a new year for Washington Commanders' quarterback Jayden Daniels, and what happened last season is well and truly in the rearview mirror. Advertisement Yes, the 12-5 record and NFC Championship appearance were nice, but that means little right now and won't help the franchise in 2025. With Dan Quinn, Daniels, and a group of veterans, including Bobby Wagner, Marcus Mariota, and Zach Ertz, helping establish and maintain the culture that will be the driving force behind Washington's success, naturally, expectations are high entering 2025. But for Daniels, he is well aware that he and the franchise are starting from scratch as offseason workouts begin. 'I think it's a standard set,' Daniels said. 'You got the core guys that set the standard, and we got those guys back. So we're bringing in new people and we're holding them to that standard, but we know everything is not going to be given to us, we got to go out there and earn it each and every day.' Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels© Eric Hartline-Imagn Images Jayden being self-aware is nothing new, and yes, last season was superb by any metric you want to use. Now, everyone is on a level playing field until the season kicks off. Advertisement After so much heavy lifting was done last season to get the Commanders out of the NFL doldrums and into relevancy, the franchise won't want all of that work to go to waste by cutting corners and not being as focused. However, it is clear that Daniels and his teammates recognize that the standards they set last season equated to Super Bowl-level success, and if they want the same results, the standards must be maintained. And Jayden is making sure it is.
