Hansika Motwani Deletes Wedding Photos With Sohael, Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom Faces Protests
Fans of Hansika Motwani are wondering if there's trouble in her marriage with Sohael Khaturiya. This comes after the actress removed most of their wedding photos and videos from her Instagram page. Hansika and Sohael got married in December 2022 in a lavish ceremony, which was later shown in a reality show called Hansika's Love Shaadi Drama. Now, almost three years later, fans have noticed that the wedding posts are missing, and Hansika hasn't shared anything new on social media since July 18.
The Telugu film Kingdom, featuring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead, has sparked major controversy in Tamil Nadu following its global release on July 31. The film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, has drawn strong backlash from several groups who allege that it misrepresents Tamil culture and disrespects religious beliefs.
The protests are being led primarily by the Tamil nationalist party Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK), which has raised objections over the film's portrayal of Sri Lankan Tamils. In addition, the group has criticised the filmmakers for naming the film's antagonist 'Murugan', a name closely tied to one of Tamil Nadu's most worshipped deities, Lord Murugan, calling it offensive and culturally insensitive.
Dhanashree Verma has responded, albeit subtly, to the buzz surrounding her ex-husband Yuzvendra Chahal's recent podcast appearance, where he spoke about their divorce publicly for the first time. The choreographer and digital creator took to Instagram with a peaceful photo dump from her Dubai getaway. The post captured her enjoying simple pleasures like street-side vadapav and pani puri, soaking in the golden hour, and visiting templesoff.
With only a month remaining until the release of The Bengal Files, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has reacted sharply to legal action taken against the film by members of West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC). Agnihotri alleged that the move is an attempt by the state government to silence his voice. Despite the ongoing legal tussle, the filmmaker made it clear that he has no intention of backing down and will continue with all planned promotional activities for the film.
Filmmaker Aanand L Rai has issued a strong statement against the AI-generated re-release of his 2013 romantic drama Raanjhanaa, which features an alternate happy ending. Labeling the move as 'a very dangerous precedent," Rai expressed deep concern over the unauthorised use and alteration of his creative work. In his official statement, Rai confirmed that both he and the film's lead actor Dhanush are aligned in their stance against what they describe as an unacceptable tampering of the original narrative. He further warned that such modifications not only undermine artistic integrity but also pose serious risks to the future of filmmaking and the broader creative industry.

Isha Koppikar recalls being humiliated by South choreographer in her debut film: 'These girls come from Bollywood, they don't know anything'
Before establishing herself in Bollywood with roles in films like Shah Rukh Khan's Don and Ram Gopal Varma's Company, Isha Koppikar faced a bruising start to her acting journey in the South film industry. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about being humiliated by a choreographer during her debut Telugu film W/o V. Vara Prasad (1997), where she had appeared in a song sequence. Sharing the incident, Isha told Digital Commentary, 'It happened in South. And it was just the beginning. I already had two films. So, it was before Bollywood. When I was on the set, there was a lot of dance. You know South dance. They're not easy.' The choreographer, she recalled, publicly shamed her on set in front of the entire unit, accusing her of being a clueless Bollywood import. 'He told me in front of everyone, 'These girls come from Bollywood. They don't know anything. I don't know why they take them... If you don't know dance, then why did you come here?'' 'I cried in my van... then I called Usha ji' Isha said she was devastated by the criticism. 'I felt very bad. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The Most Beautiful Female Athletes Right Now Undo I felt humiliated. I went into my make-up van and I cried.' But instead of letting the moment defeat her, she turned it into a motivator. 'I took it as a challenge. I said next time when I come to the South, I will dance very well. I will not give anyone a chance to speak like this.' Remember 'Khallas' girl Isha Koppikar? Diva clicked at airport, asks paps 'Neend nahi aati?' Determined to improve, she reached out to Saroj Khan's assistant Usha ji. 'I told Usha ji, 'I want to learn dance. You come and teach me all the songs of Saroj ji.' She took out time and came to my house in Mahim and taught me daily.' Isha trained on classic Bollywood numbers like Taal Se Taal Mila and Mujhe Rang De, which she says covered all the major moves used in the industry. How Khallas changed the game Despite all the dance training, Isha notes that ironically, her breakthrough item number Khallas in Company didn't have too much choreography. 'If you look at it, there is not much dance in Khallas, but people felt that I know how to dance. Because I had gained confidence. A lot of confidence.' She credited Khallas director Ram Gopal Varma and choreographer Ganesh Acharya for giving her the confidence to shine. 'Ramu came to me and said, 'I have made this set for you. You should feel that this is your father's set. I want such an attitude.' So I said, 'Okay. If it is my father's, then I will bring the same attitude.' And then Khallas happened and magic happened.'

PO on the mic: Singer who called govt house a jail busted after 10 years
1 2 Chandigarh: Declared a proclaimed offender in 2016, Sirsa resident Jagsir Singh evaded police for nine years by constantly changing his location and identity. However, his run ended with a dramatic revelation on Wednesday — he is Punjabi singer Baaz Sran, who just two months ago released a song likening a 'Sarkari Kothi' (govt residence) to a jail. In an irony of sorts, the lyrics of the song 'Sarkari Kothi' — which has 13 lakh views on YouTube — go: 'Jattan di sarkari kothi hundi jail kuddey (The official residence of Jatts is jail, lady).' Sran, who has 32,600 followers on Instagram and has sung duets with female singers like Deepak Dhillon and Gurlez Akhtar, was arrested by the Chandigarh zonal unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the alleged seizure of 36kg opium in 2015. Sran hails from Malikpura village in Haryana's Sirsa district. An official privy to the case said Baaz himself penned the lyrics and composed his songs. In May 2025, NCB published Jagsir's details in leading newspapers and announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to his arrest. Based on inputs received thereafter, he was arrested on Wednesday, the NCB said in a statement. The statement added: "During his absconding period, he gained popularity as a singer on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram, amassing millions of views under a different identity. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Learn More - How Donating Plasma May Boost Your Income SpellRock Undo " At the time of his arrest, Sran was accompanied by a woman, said an official. The official added that a co-accused in the opium seizure had already been convicted. The official added that though Sran had was facing a drug seizure case, he did not consume them. "He is a fitness freak. He had just finished running and was exercising when we nabbed him. While he was involved in the drugs case and promotes drugs and weapons in the songs, he himself does not consume drugs," added the official. 'Sarkari Kothi': A song about life of crime In the song 'Sarkari Kothi', Baaz Sran has also penned lyrics about facing charges under the Arms Act and an 'attempt to murder' charge against him. The lyrics go: "25, 54, 59 laggi naal 307 de ni, jail diyaan baahlian likhiyaan karman vich jatt de di (I have been charged with sections 25, 54 and 59, along with Section 307. A long stay in jail is written in Jatt's fate)."
