Oregon football offers brother of 5-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho
The Oregon Ducks are hosting 5-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho on an essential official visit this weekend, hoping to get him on board and in the 2026 recruiting class before he leaves town at the end of the weekend.
It appears that they are going the extra mile to do so, as well. On Sunday morning, it came out that the Ducks extended an offer to Michael Iheanacho, the younger brother of Immanuel. Michael is a member of the 2028 class, a 6-foot-2, 240-pound offensive tackle who is currently unrated by 247Sports.
Meanwhile, Immanuel stands as one of the most significant players on Oregon's recruiting board in the 2026 class, rated as the No. 8 overall player in the class while standing at 6-foot-6, 345 pounds. He is considering Oregon alongside the Penn State Nittany Lions, LSU Tigers, and Auburn Tigers.
Iheanacho has set a commitment date for August 5, but there is some speculation that he could end up announcing his commitment as soon as Sunday before his visit is over. If offering his younger brother — someone who could ultimately be a highly-touted recruit in the 2028 class — is something that will help push that decision along, then the Ducks made the right call in doing so.

Sophie Cunningham slams WNBA treatment of Fever guard Caitlin Clark
Superstars in the sporting world are treated differently from their colleagues. Fair or not, it is just the way the world of sports works. They get scrutinized, treated differently by refs, treated differently by fans, and ultimately receive special treatment, sometimes in negative and positive ways, from opposing teams. Caitlin Clark is a certified superstar and the face of the WNBA, which subjects her to all of the above. Most recently, things got testy in the Indiana Fever's WNBA game against the Connecticut Sun, and tempers flared around Caitlin Clark. In response, Clark's teammate on the Indiana Fever, Sophie Cunningham, leaned into being a force of backup for Clark as she was seemingly fed up with the treatment that the star guard was receiving. She spoke up to the media about the unfair treatment Caitlin Clark is getting from the WNBA. "During that, it was just part of the game. I think the refs had a lot to do with that. It was a build of for a couple of years now of them just not protecting, you know, the star player of the WNBA. So, at the end of the day, I'm going to protect my teammates. That's what I do, and I'm a team player," Cunningham said. Since the spat against the Sun, the Fever dropped their most recent game to the Golden State Valkyries to drop them to 6-6 on the season. Cunningham's defense of Clark has proven to excite fans of the WNBA and the Indiana Fever. Her jersey has since sold out on the Indiana Fever's official team store, while her social media followings have exploded. Former Oregon Duck Dillon Brooks headed to Phoenix Suns in trade for Kevin Durant
Make no mistake about it, Kevin Durant is the main attraction in this most recent trade, but Phoenix acquiring former Oregon Duck Dillon Brooks could be the story in the long run. Brooks was included in a trade that sent him along with Jalen Green, the No. 10 draft pick in this year's draft, and several future picks to Houston in exchange for the superstar Durant. Houston finished 52-30 this season and finished second in the Western Conference, and Brooks had a solid year for the Rockets. He averaged 14 points and nearly four rebounds in the 75 games he played. The Rockets might think they are on the brink of a title, and Durant might be the missing piece, but giving up a solid small forward such as Brooks might be a high price to pay. As for Phoenix, it finished 36-46 and missed the playoffs. The Suns might be looking to rebuild, and acquiring multiple players and draft picks is the way to go. Phoenix will be Brooks' third team in his eight-year career in the NBA. He was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies and played six seasons there before moving on to Houston for two years. For his career, Brooks has scored 14.5 points per game and 3.2 rebounds per game while shooting 42 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from the three-point line. Wisconsin football lands commitment from class of 2026 in-state offensive lineman
Wisconsin football landed a commitment from class of 2026 in-state offensive lineman Aiden Dirksen on Saturday. Dirksen will join the program as a preferred walk-on. He accepted an offer that the Wisconsin coaching staff extended after his performance at the program's high school development camp last week. The 6-foot-6 interior offensive lineman is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and plays his high school football for Bay Port. 247Sports has yet to assign him a star rating or position ranking. 'First off, I would like to Thank God for blessing me with these opportunities that he has put in front of me," Dirksen wrote on X. "I also want to thank my family for supporting me on this long journey. I want to thank Coach Steven Jorgensen and the rest of the coaching staff at Bay Port football for pushing me to my limit and preparing me for this opportunity while molding me into the player I am today. I also want to give a thank you to all of my teammates who have been a huge role in preparing me for my football journey. With that being said, I am extremely blessed to announce that I have committed to the University of Wisconsin!" Dirksen will arrive on campus with a Wisconsin recruiting class that currently ranks No. 36 in the nation with 13 scholarship players committed. One of those scholarship players is from the state of Wisconsin: three-star linebacker Ben Wenzel.
