‘Change himself' – Conor McGregor sent message by bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov – but UFC legend won't even name him

The blood feud didn't end when 'The Notorious' was submitted in the fourth round of their UFC 229 showdown in Las Vegas.
McGregor has fired several shots the Russian's way over the years and has often accused him of running away from a rematch with his retirement.
Nurmagomedov has seldom spoken about his old rival but is aware of all the legal troubles he's had in recent years.
And the Dagestani recently revealed he hopes McGregor can get on the straight and narrow, albeit without mentioning his name.
During a recent Q&A event in New York, Nurmagomedov said: "'I don't wanna mention his name.
'This is punishment… The most beautiful part of this is Allah always give the chance to come back.
'We always have in this world the chance to come back, and this is the most beautiful thing.
'It doesn't matter how you've been, Allah is gonna give you a chance always to come back. I think he has a chance."
Nurmagomedov believes McGregor turning his life around would be a story which could inspire people across the globe.
The former undefeated and long-reigning lightweight champion said: "He has to change how he is living.

'Why am I talking about this? If he's gonna change, he can change with him so many other lives too.
'That's why I wish him to change himself. If he's not gonna change, it will be punishment all his life.'
McGregor has only fought three times since losing the biggest fight in UFC history.
The Irishman got back in the win column against Donald Cerrone in January 2020 before suffering back-to-back stoppage losses to Dustin Poirier the following year.
McGregor hasn't set foot inside the octagon since breaking his leg in his trilogy fight with Poirier four years ago as injury scuppered his comeback clash with Michael Chandler last July.
The UFC's first simultaneous two-weight world champion is hellbent on returning to the octagon and recently re-entered the promotion's testing pool.
McGregor appealed the verdict turned in at Dublin's High Court but lost his bid to overturn the civil verdict late last month.

August 7 - Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice did not participate in practice at training camp on Wednesday. Rice is dealing with a groin injury, according to the team. Rice is still awaiting news of a potential NFL suspension after he caused a multi-car crash in Dallas in March 2024. He pleaded guilty in July to two third-degree felony charges of collision involving serious bodily injury and racing on a highway causing bodily injury. Rice was sentenced to five years of probation (deferred), 30 days in jail, and required to pay approximately $115,000 in medical expenses for the victims. Marlins prevent late Astros rally to avoid sweep
August 7 - Xavier Edwards connected on four hits, and Heriberto Hernandez homered and drove in two runs as the host Miami Marlins defeated the Houston Astros 6-4 on Wednesday. The Astros, who failed to secure what would've been a three-game sweep, were led by Christian Walker, who slugged a two-run homer. Miami played an exceptional game as the Marlins produced 14 hits, stole four bases, made no errors and had several fielding gems. Perhaps the biggest play came with the bases loaded in the eighth inning when reliever Calvin Faucher made a backhand stab of a slow roller and threw out Walker on a close call at the plate. Janson Junk (6-2) earned the win, going five innings and allowing five hits, two walks and three runs. Lake Bachar pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his second career save. Spencer Arrighetti (1-2) took the loss, allowing 11 hits, one walk and five runs in 3 2/3 innings. It was his first appearance since April 5. Houston took a 2-0 lead in the first as former Marlin Jesus Sanchez doubled and scored on Walker's 417-foot bomb to left-center. That shot had a 113-mph exit velocity. Miami grabbed a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the first, putting together a rally that included six singles. Liam Hicks, Otto Lopez and Hernandez got the RBIs. The Marlins extended their lead to 4-2 in the second as Edwards doubled, advanced on Kyle Stowers' single and scored on Agustin Ramirez's sacrifice fly. Miami made it 5-2 in the third on Hernandez's homer, which went 391 feet and got just over the glove of Sanchez in left field. Houston cut its deficit to 5-3 in the fifth as Mauricio Dubon and Carlos Correa smashed two-out doubles. Sanchez nearly got Houston another run but his 106-mph grounder was fielded on a slick play by Edwards at second. Graham Pauley led off the bottom of the fifth with a homer, extending Miami's lead to 6-3. Houston kept coming in the sixth as Walker singled and scored on Victor Caratini's double. That made it 6-4. But then came Houston's base-loaded rally in the eighth. After Faucher threw Walker out at the plate, Houston nearly tied the score on Dubon's blooper into short right field. Disturbing picture of blood-soaked shark attack victim after being forced to swim for his life in horrific mauling
A MAN has been pictured grinning with his leg covered in blood after he survived an attack from a bull shark that tried to rip off his foot. Chance Armand was taking a dip while out spearfishing when he saw the shark's shadow and was forced to swim for his life. 5 5 The beast sank its teeth into Armand's leg on Saturday afternoon, about 20 miles offshore of the Pensacola Pass. 'By the time I acknowledged he wasn't gonna turn around, it was too late,' Armand told Fox affiliate WALA. He told WALA that he's familiar with sharks and often sees them when he's out fishing, but was surprised when the beast went after him. 'I didn't really have time to, you know, react otherwise besides put my knee between myself and the shark," Armand said. Armand said that after the shark bit his knee, it turned around and swam back down. He then raced to the boat, where his friends pulled him up to help. 'We were able to fashion a makeshift tourniquet out of a t-shirt, a speargun band and a fillet knife,' Armand said. Then the group took a picture of Armand, posing just minutes after his leg was nearly ripped off. In the picture, Armand is grinning with his tongue out as he holds up his leg, which is covered in blood and has a tourniquet fashioned. He said that he couldn't feel pain from the shark bite at first, and that he could only feel pressure from the attack. Armand said once the spearfishing group had cellphone service, they called 911. First responders met the boat on the dock and he was quickly taken to a nearby hospital. 'By the grace of God, there was no tendon damage, no bone damage, no artery damage, it's just one giant, gnarly flesh wound,' Armand said. The fisherman said he will be sure to have a tourniquet ready the next time he takes to the sea.
