The 79p Home Bargains item that makes a car smell like luxury scent worth over £100
Looking to get your car smelling like luxury for less? Then Home Bargains has an item worth purchasing - and it costs less than £1.
The budget chain is known for offering a selection of perfume 'dupes', with its Designer Fragrances range taking on the likes of Thierry Mugler, Dior and Lancôme, all without the luxury price-tag.
Available in an assortment of body mists, sprays and perfumes for as little as under £2 each, they have become a massive hit among beauty buffs who often take to TikTok to share their purchases.
Now they are officially available to buy as a car air freshener, allowing drivers to fill their car with three luxury inspired scents for less - Xalien, Tu Es Belle and Savor.
Costing just 79p each, these fresheners are said to last up to 28 days, providing a long-lasting scent that can be used to fill any space, not just vehicles, such as rooms in the home and office spaces.
For those who are unaware of Home Bargains' fragrances, Savore is a "warm, oriental, zesty" scent that has earned a fanbase for being a 'dupe' of the beloved Dior Sauvage EDT that retails anywhere between £75 to over £100, depending on the bottle size.
There's also the highly popular Xalien. Described as "feminine and floral", this particular Designer Fragrances scent from the retailer has become known for offering a scent very similar to Thierry Mugler's iconic Alien, worth anywhere between £69 and £127.
The third and final scent in the new air freshener collection is Tu Es Belle, described as "delicate and demure", which is said to be almost identical to Lancôme's La Vie Est Belle that can also be priced anywhere between £69 and £127.
Home Bargains recently sent its loyal fanbase wild for the new car fragrances in an Instagram post that was captioned: "Now your car can smell like your favourite Designer Fragrances, in store now!"
Multiple followers were quick to voice their enthusiasm, as one responded: "I absolutely love these."
Another fan added: "These smell divine."

Someone who couldn't wait to find them wrote: "I need these in my life."
While bargain hunters were certainly keen to get their hands on the new air freshener range, there were a few on Facebook that were left disappointed at their longevity, as one wrote: "Nice smell BUT ONLY FOR 3 DAYS!!"
It's not just luxury perfumes that the retailer has been known to offer a 'dupe' for, as it has also branched out into a selection of cosmetics, haircare and skincare that are said to mimic high end brands for less.
Just recently, we reported on the budget retailer's latest OVAU haircare line that were being compared to the celebrity-backed brand OUAI on TikTok. The line boasts a shampoo, conditioner and a hair mask all priced at £1.49, while the major brand would set shoppers back £28 each.
Home Bargains shoppers can check their local store for the new Designer Fragrances car air fresheners that cost 79p.

Makeup fans can save themselves up to £26 on the products thanks to Home Bargains' latest StarBuys deals Home Bargains is often a favourite choice among many who have to stick to a budget due to its wide array of everyday items and essentials available at affordable prices. Similarly to Aldi's 'Special Buys', the popular bargain retailer regularly updates its 'StarBuys' aisle, which usually includes various products at large discount prices. The store's StarBuy offerings are especially great for everyday necessities such as health and beauty items, household supplies, food, toys, and garden accessories at budget-friendly prices. In an exclusive online-only offer, Home Bargains is selling four makeup products by the well-known brand BareMinerals. The brand specialises in 'clean' vegan-friendly makeup and skincare', made with 'skin-friendly' ingredients such as minerals and botanicals. Founded by Leslie Blodgett, the brand is famous for its loose mineral foundation. It was the first makeup created to enhance skin health and has been clinically shown to improve skin texture and tone. What are the four BareMinerals products? BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Natural Matte Tinted Moisturiser SPF 30 - Vanilla 02 (was £33, now £6.99). BareMinerals Mineralist Lip Gloss-Balm - Adventure (was £23, now £4.99). BareMinerals Barepro Pressed Powder Foundation - 40 Cool (was £31.50, now £6.99). BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturiser (was £33, now £6.99). The four products are on sale for up to 78% less than their usual price, meaning shoppers can save around £26 if they buy from Home Bargains. Most of the products cost between £23-£33, but thanks to the bargain discount, makeup fans only need to spend a fraction of that. The BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Natural Matte Tinted Moisturiser SPF 30 in Vanilla 02 is described as a "lightweight, oil-free tinted moisturiser", which is designed to "provide a natural matte finish with mineral-based sun protection". Home Bargains says: "This product is ideal for those with very fair skin tones that have neutral undertones with a hint of peach." As for the BareMinerals Lip Gloss-Balm in Adventure, Home Bargains says: "This clean, vegan formula is enriched with cold-pressed fruit oils to hydrate, smooth, and soften lips, instantly and over time. The non-sticky texture glides on effortlessly, giving you a glossy finish with a touch of sheer color, while clinically proven to improve lip smoothness by up to 50%." The BareMinerals Barepro Pressed Powder Foundation in 40 Cool is said to offer "breathable full coverage" that can withstand "16 hours of sweat, humidity, and transfer-resistant wear, while visibly evening skin tone and smoothing texture over time". The talc-free "lightweight and non-drying" formula is designed to absorb oil and control shine for up to 24 hours The final product is the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturiser SPF 30 in Natural Pecan 05. This "3-in-1 multitasker" works as a "lightweight" moisturiser, sheer-to-light skin tint, and mineral-based SPF 30 to "protect, hydrate, and perfect your skin all at once". The store adds: "Powered by Hyaluronic Acid, it delivers 24-hour hydration and helps visibly even skin tone while blurring imperfections for a smooth, dewy glow. Scots losing free ATMs at rate of nearly four per week in cash access crisis
Figures from LINK, the UK's cash machine network, show free-to-use ATMs in Scotland have declined by about 30 per cent since 2018. Scots are losing free ATMs at a rate of nearly four per week amid a mounting cash access crisis, data shows. Figures from LINK, the UK's cash machine network, show free-to-use ATMs in Scotland have declined by about 5100 in 2018 to around 3500 today. That means there's about one free cash machine for every 1600 Scottish adults. Campaigners say the decline of bank branches along with ATMs is a 'disaster' for remote and rural communities and vulnerable groups who depend on cash. Ron Delnevo, of the Payment Choice Alliance, said: 'It's a bit scary for Scotland, because once you get out of the big cities, there's not a lot left. It's pathetic.' He used the example of Edzell, near Brechin, which lost its only bank branch, a Bank of Scotland site, in 2016. Delnevo said: 'There's no ATM in Edzell, so if you want cash from an ATM you have to go as far as Brechin. That's a 12-mile round trip. "These people have suffered, in the last ten years, a massive deterioration in the service. "If you go all around Scotland, it's the same thing when you find small places. "In the UK, I think Scotland is worst affected, because taking into account population, we've got a massive geographic area and there are many isolated communities. "They've been badly let down by the banks." The relentless pace of bank branch closures - particularly across remote and rural areas - has coincided with the rise in online banking. The Covid pandemic also saw a drive by firms towards cashless payments. But LINK's own research shows cash remains the most trusted payment method, with 76 per cent of British consumers saying it's important to have the option to pay with hard currency. Douglas Ross, Tory MSP for the Highlands and Islands, said: 'The rapid decline of free-to-use cash machines is deeply worrying, particularly for older Scots and vulnerable people who rely on cash to manage their day-to-day lives. 'Access to cash isn't a luxury, it's a necessity, especially in rural areas and for supporting local businesses that still depend on cash payments. 'We need a clear strategy to safeguard the remaining cash machines across Scotland before it's too late.' It comes as Scottish Labour has today launched a new consultation to tackle 'scandal of financial exclusion' including issues with cash access to help tackle poverty. The party's finance spokesman Michael Marra said: 'Low-income families are often reliant on cash, and the loss of bank branches and ATMs has hit them hardest.' Some of the most vulnerable groups in the country often rely on cash, including people with disabilities, older people and those in abusive relationships who might depend on cash as an escape route from controlling partners. UK-wide, free cash machines hit a peak of around 55,000 in 2018 but have since plummeted to around 35,000, latest data shows - a drop of more than a third. Insiders say the UK total could eventually "bottom out" at around 15,000. Delnevo added: "What would that mean for Scotland? It would certainly be a dramatic loss. It might mean Scotland is left with fewer than 1500 ATMs. "If it goes down to that level, you're going to have miles and miles without any ATM coverage."
