Man City reject Premier League request and stunned by suggestion amid 115 charges

Premier League content creators reportedly asked Manchester City if they would work with comedian who has previously mocked Pep Guardiola and the club's financial battle with league Manchester City were asked by Premier League content creators if they would collaborate with a comedian who has previously mocked Pep Guardiola, it has been claimed. ‌ But City have politely declined the bizarre request while the wait for a verdict on the 115 charges brought by the league against the club because of alleged financial misdemeanours drags on. ‌ The Daily Mail report that City were "flabbergasted" after Premier League content staff suggested they combine with comic Conor Moore. ‌ Irishman Moore has also previously imitated Roy Keane in viral clips and in one video in which he wears a bald cap and grey Puma jumper, he pokes fun at Guardiola and the charges laid against City. Moore pretends to be Guardiola fending questions at a press conference and is asked if he has made any new signings. "We know in the last few days we have to reinforce and we have done that, especially on our bench," he says. "We have signed four barristers, eight lawyers and a judge." Neither the club nor Premier League have commented but, according to the Mail, 'Moore's mickey-taking over the issue that has rocked football 'slipped through the net' at the Premier League end.' There remains no indication of an imminent ruling into the charges against City for offences that could, if proven, see the club kicked out of the Premier League - despite the hearing finishing several months ago. Several suggested dates of a decision being announced have passed by without any development and there is an expectation that appeals will be lodged delaying an outcome further. City enter the new season with a revamped midfield as they look to grasp the Premier League trophy back from the hands of rivals Liverpool. Guardiola's squad has had £120.5m of investment already this summer - though that is some way shy of the £195m plundered by Arsenal and the reigning champions' £300m outlay.

Horror moment Royal Caribbean cruise ship passenger topples over edge of pool

A Caribbean cruise passenger accidentally fell over the edge of an infinity pool while dangerously reaching over to pick up his sunglasses, and the shocking incident was caught on camera A passenger on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship fell over the edge of an infinity pool on the 15th deck as they reached for their sunglasses. ‌ Cringe-worthy footage reveals the moment a holidaymaker was leaning against the barrier of a pool before quickly losing control of their balance and plummeting down to a lower deck on the Icon of the Seas ship. It looks as though the man was trying to reach out over to grab something, which was later revealed to be his beloved pair of sunglasses. ‌ Moments before losing his balance, hanging on the edge, he straightened his legs and came tumbling down. Despite a mighty fall, somehow the man did not sustain any injuries, as reported by the account that posted the surprising video online. ‌ According to the Daily Mail, the pool area from which he fell is located on deck 15, and sitting directly below it is the children's Splashaway Bay play area on deck seven. Social media users couldn't believe their eyes at the video and this passenger's irresponsible attempt that put not only his health but also his life at risk. One user claimed to have witnessed the incident for themselves and was quick to defend him, saying: "He fell into a space not open to the public. If he had fallen over the railing, he would have fallen to deck five in the kids splash area. That's 10 decks below." They added: "He was confined to his room after the incident and not let out until arriving back in Miami." ‌ Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean has released a statement about the viral moment. "A guest accidentally fell onto the pool gutter after reaching over to retrieve their sunglasses," they explained. "Our crew immediately attended to the guest, and fortunately, the guest did not experience any injuries." ‌ It's ironic that the passenger would happen to fall over the world's largest cruise ship, standing at an impressive 1,196 ft long and 219 ft wide. The ship is made up of 20 decks and employs over 2,000 international crew members, one of whom experienced a fatal incident just days before the infinity pool fall. It turns out a crew member on that very same ship had reportedly stabbed a fellow female co-worker before jumping overboard to his death. The Royal Bahamas Police Force told NBC News that the man stabbed his colleague repeatedly around 7.30pm on Thursday night. Both crew members were working on the luxury cruise when it's thought that a "personal dispute" erupted on board. What is believed to be his body was recovered from the water just minutes after he allegedly attacked the 28-year-old woman. In a state of panic, unaware of the situation, many passengers tried to save the man overboard by throwing him life rings. Although, just 30 minutes after the stabbing took place, he was found dead by the onboard medical team.

Look in my bathroom and you'll find the Flawless Filter Foundation; the Contour, Blush and Highlighter Wands; about five Pillow Talk Lipsticks and glittery Beautifying Eye Shadow Palettes galore. Until recently, you would have found the £28 Legendary Lashes Mascara too. It has been my go-to since the age of 18: smudge-proof; long-wear and super-volumising, with just one quick sweep lasting all day. That was until a few months ago when, having run out of my trusty Legendary Lashes, I needed to pick up a new mascara on Kensington High Street. Sadly, my bank account was not in a position to splurge £28 on a mascara (payday was two days away, okay?) so I thought I'd pop into Boots for a cheap one to bridge the gap. The mascara in question? NYX's £9.50 Worth the Hype Mascara. My plan was to use it for two days, then shove it into my bathroom cupboard as an emergency back-up. Except after using it for two months, I can safely say it is the best mascara I have ever used – and a quick scour of online reviews shows plenty of shoppers agree. NYX Worth the Hype Mascara My main issues with budget mascaras are: a) having to apply three layers to get any length and volume and b) near-immediate smudging, so I look like a panda by the time I get into work. I'm happy to say Worth the Hype Mascara delivers serious oomph with just one layer and honestly, does not budge. I'm not talking 'lasts a few hours', I'm talking 'lasts an entire day at Glastonbury / sweaty workout class/ tears at my friend's engagement party'. Don't just take my word for it. NYX's product has hundreds of five-star reviews across online retailers calling it the 'best mascara out there', with one writing: 'It performs like high-end mascara for a fraction of the price… my lashes have never looked so good.' Hear, hear. This is the formula I'll be sticking to going forward (although I may well use the £18 I save on more Charlotte Tilbury products, TBH). But if you're looking for a slightly less dramatic budget buy for your lashes, I've listed some great, natural options below. Happy shopping! L'Oreal Paris Panorama Mascara £12.99 Shop e.l.f.
