Shoppers save £220 on Shark mop and vacuum bundle ideal for 'quick daily cleaning'
While cleaning is a task not everyone enjoys, it can be made a lot easier when households have the right tools that can be pulled out at a moment's notice. However, when shoppers take into account the price of individual appliances, such as vacuums, steamers, mops etc, it can leave a bitter taste in your mouth.
In order to combat this and help leave your home looking sparkling and feeling fresh, Shark has created a bundle deal that shoppers in need of new cleaning tools won't want to miss. Renowned for their quality cordless vacuum cleaners and other cleaning appliances, buyers will receive high quality tools while saving hundreds of pounds.
Included in the Shark Stratos Cordless Bundle, shoppers will get a Shark's Stratos Anti Hair Wrap Plus Pet Pro Cordless Vacuum and Klik n' Flip Automatic Steam Mop. Normally retailing for £519.98 as a bundle, savvy shoppers can now grab this deal for £297.99 - saving shoppers £221.99.
Buying the devices outside of the deal will cost shoppers £349.99 altogether, however this is due to both appliances also receiving individual reductions. The cordless vacuum has dropped from £379.99 down to £249.99, while the steam mop is now retailing for £99.99 (RRP £139.99).
Said to be Shark's 'best ever hair pick-up vacuum', the Stratos Plus hoover will provide optimal suction whether it is used on carpet or hard floors due to its anti hair wrap technology. This allows the vacuum to remove hair from the brush-tool during use to make cleaning easier, reports Leicestershire Live.
This vacuum is also an ideal choice for pet owners as it comes with a tool that has been specifically designed to remove pesky embedded hair from furniture. Additionally, the vacuum uses 'Clean Sense IQ' to automatically adjust the cleaning power when it detects any dirt that is usually difficult to see.

Product Description
Over to the Automatic Steam Mop, this device is said to clean and sanitise 99.9 per cent of common household bacteria that can get stuck on a variety of hard floors such as stone, marble, tile and hardwood. On top of this, the mop also comes with a steam blaster to help tackle tougher stains.
However, for those who want to save space in their home, Amazon is also offering the Tefal X-CLEAN 4 Cordless Wet & Dry Vacuum Mop. Normally retailing for £349.99, shoppers can now snatch up this 2-in-1 device for £100 less in a limited time deal for only £249.99.
Alternatively, for those only looking for a new vacuum, Argos is selling the Shark PowerPro Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner for £190. Along with a five year warranty, this device is said to deliver powerful debris and pet hair pickup all through a lightweight, flexible stick.
For those who are intrigued by Shark's Stratos Cordless Bundle, it currently boasts an impressive 4.4 star rating from over 2,100 customers.
One five-star reviewer was delighted with the vacuum cleaner, writing: "Super light weight and actually picks up bits in the corners which other hoovers struggle with! 10/10."
With another person adding: "I bought this just to use for quick daily cleaning with the idea of using my duo for full house cleaning but this manages the whole house (5 rooms and stairs) using eco for my hard floors and the higher power for carpets.
"The smart-sense does drain the battery quick so best to choose which mode you need. Love the ease of being able to do the whole house without trailing cables and heaving the bigger vac upstairs."
However, one shopper did have a slight grumble about the hoover, commenting: "Very light easy to manoeuvre and seems to pick up well, only thing I am not very happy about is it makes a squeaky noise when I am hoovering carpet while pulling backwards! Other than that so far it's good."
In terms of the steam mop, one top reviewer noted: "A great addition to my cleaning tools. Heats up fast and does a great job on my kitchen floor. Would recommend this to everyone who is fed up of a wet floor and a mop that needs cleaning."
However, another customer wasn't entirely pleased with a design: "We have had ours a while now, it's an ok steamer, but the design is not great, as in you have to store it up against a wall, unlike most upright hoovers that stand up without leaning against anything."

UN holds emergency talks over sky-high accommodation costs at Cop30 in Brazil
The UN climate bureau has held an urgent meeting about concerns that sky-high rates for accommodation at this year's Cop30 summit in Brazil could price poorer countries out of the negotiations. Brazil is preparing to host Cop30 this November in the rainforest city of Belém, where representatives of nearly every government in the world will gather to negotiate their joint efforts to curb the climate crisis. Concerns about logistics have dogged preparations for the summit. Developing countries have warned they cannot afford Belém's accommodation prices, which have soared amid a shortage of rooms. In an emergency meeting of the UN's 'Cop bureau' on Tuesday, Brazil agreed to address countries' concerns about accommodation and report back at another gathering on 11 August, said Richard Muyungi, the chair of the African Group of Negotiators (AGN), who called the meeting. 'We were assured that we will revisit that … to get assurances on whether the accommodation will be adequate for all delegates,' Muyungi said afterwards. He said African countries wanted to avoid reducing their participation because of the cost, adding: 'We are not ready to cut down the numbers. Brazil has got a lot of options in terms of having a better Cop, a good Cop. So that is why we are pushing that Brazil has to provide better answers, rather than telling us to limit our delegation.' Brazil has faced criticism for its decision to host the conference in a small city in the rainforest rather than in a bigger urban centre that already has the necessary infrastructure and hotel rooms. The country is racing to expand the 18,000 hotel beds usually available in Belém, a coastal city of 1.3 million, to accommodate roughly 45,000 people who are expected to attend Cop30. This month, the Brazilian government said it had secured two cruise ships to provide 6,000 extra beds for delegates. It also opened bookings to developing countries at more affordable nightly rates of up to $220 (£165). That is still above the daily subsistence allowance (DSA) the UN offers some poorer nations to support their participation at Cops. For Belém, that DSA is $149. A diplomat familiar with Tuesday's meeting said complaints about affordability came from both developed and developing countries. Wealthier countries have been told to expect nightly accommodation costs of up to $600 – far higher than at previous Cop meetings. The Panamanian negotiator Juan Carlos Monterrey Gómez said in June that he feared the conference 'might become the most inaccessible Cop in recent memory' and that developing countries, small island states, Indigenous voices and civil society would 'not be adequately represented — if represented at all'. Media organisations, activists, NGOs and charities have also raised fears that they may not be able to participate in the conference if a solution on accommodation costs is not found. In February, the Brazilian president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, told critics that if hotels were unavailable, they should 'sleep under the stars'. An agenda for Tuesday's meeting confirmed it was convened to address 'operational and logistical preparations for the climate change conference in Belém' and the AGN's concerns on the matter. Get all the week's environment news - the good, the bad and the essential after newsletter promotion Brazil's foreign ministry did not reply immediately to a request for comment. Officials organising the Cop30 have made repeated assurances that poorer countries will have access to accommodation they can afford. A spokesperson for the UNFCCC, the United Nations climate body, declined to comment on the meeting. Two UN diplomats showed Reuters quotes they had received from hotels and property managers in Belém for nightly rates of about $700 a person during Cop30. Officials from six governments, including wealthier European countries, said they had not yet secured accommodation because of high prices, and some said they were preparing to reduce their participation. A spokesperson for the Dutch government said it might need to halve its delegation compared with recent Cops, when the Netherlands sent about 90 people during the two-week event including envoys, negotiators and youth representatives. This month, Poland's deputy climate minister, Krzysztof Bolesta, said: 'We don't have accommodation. We'll probably have to cut down the delegation to the bone. In an extreme event, maybe we will have to not show up.'

Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto display drops to £39.99 in Amazon deal
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay screens are becoming incredibly cheap | Amazon This article contains affiliate links. We may earn a small commission on items purchased through this article, but that does not affect our editorial judgement. A limited-time Amazon deal drops the price of this wireless smartphone display to just £39.99 – perfect for older cars without CarPlay or Android Auto. Did you know with a Digital Subscription to Edinburgh News, you can get unlimited access to the website including our premium content, as well as benefiting from fewer ads, loyalty rewards and much more. Learn More Sorry, there seem to be some issues. Please try again later. Submitting... If you've always fancied adding Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to your car, this might be the best way to do it. Many modern cars still don't have the capability of adding smartphone mirroring to their infotainment screen, and upgrading older cars can be an expensive headache. That's where these proprietary displays come in. They're such a simple plug and play device, clamping to your windscreen or dashboard just like old-school sat navs used to, and and it will give you a full suite of basic smartphone apps including, quite importantly, satellite navigation. It even connects wirelessly to your phone. The basic package is just a nine-inch screen - but you can also spec it with a reversing camera for an extra pound. | Amazon But they can do so much more than that, too. Because they can link to your car's stereo system, either through a cable or a radio transmission, they can become an on-screen music station. All the radio streaming services are available, as well as podcast apps, and music services like Spotify are also present and correct. So a device like this will handle your telephone calls, notify you of messages, cycle through your playlists, navigate you to your destination, and even serve as a reversing camera if you install the accessory. You might think tech like this will cost hundreds of pounds, but Amazon has this Meetellala nine-inch display on at just £39.99 at the moment, thanks to a 37% discount. If you want to add the reversing camera, it's only another pound, and upgrading to a sleeker newer model would cost just £51.99. There's even a version, priced at £58.89, which has a built-in dashcam as well as a reversing camera. This is one of the cheapest in-car displays we've seen, and we don't know how long the discount will last for, but if you can catch the limited-time deal, you'll get quite a bargain. Dunelm‘s ‘great value' garden bistro set ‘looks expensive' but is down to £35
The Dunelm bistro garden set has been hailed as 'beautiful' with one shopper saying the chairs are 'very comfortable' Dunelm shoppers have been racing to snap up a garden bistro seating set that's had its price slashed from £50 to £35. Perfect for smaller outdoor spaces, the set is ideal for balconies or courtyards and one shopper said it 'looks expensive' despite its reduced price tag. The Helsinki Circular Two Seater Bistro Set has a 4.1 star rating out of five on the home retailer's website and includes two chairs and a stylish glass top table. The chairs are made from a waterproof fabric and fold down when not in use, meaning they're compact to store. They're also designed to be easy to assemble meaning shoppers can dine al fresco in no time. Other dining sets to shop right now include the XEO Home Bistro Egg Chair Garden Furniture Set which has been cut from £80 to £69 on Amazon. It comes with two stylish rattan chairs and a glass top coffee table. One shopper said: "Good, looks really nice and comfy." For those who like a pop of colour, another option we've spotted on the high street is the Habitat Eve Two Seater Metal Garden Bistro Set which comes in green. It's available at Argos for £65. One happy reviewer said: "Lovely, well made and a nice shade of green." Many shoppers who bought Dunelm's Helsinki Circular Two Seater Bistro Set have left rave reviews, with one writing: "Absolutely delighted with this set. Great value for money and easy to put together. Exactly what I wanted!" Another wrote: "Very comfortable chairs and smart table, looks expensive." However one wasn't impressed with how tricky they found the set to put together, saying: "It's really hard to put together, the instructions don't really help. When we finally put it together one leg was shorter than the others." Another agreed but noted the set was still good value given the price point, writing: "Good table for the price but not easy to put together and not completely straight so does wobble. However for the price it is adequate." Despite this another shopper was pretty impressed with the set's appearance, saying: "Good value for money. Looks beautiful, looks sturdy." Another noted it was best suited to couples or smaller households, commenting: "Great value product, small table but just enough to fit two plates on for eating a meal. I recommend."
