Man City ready to take huge loss on Jack Grealish with Napoli deciding between him and Man Utd exile Garnacho
NAPOLI have £45million to spend on Jack Grealish or Alejandro Garnacho — but they will not take both.
The Italian champs laid down the law to Manchester rivals City and United over deals for their exiled wingers.

United want £70m for Garnacho but are yet to receive an offer for the 20-year-old Argentina international.
However, City will be prepared to accept a fee of around £45m for Grealish, 29, who Pep Guardiola axed from his Club World Cup squad.
SunSport understands Napoli would prefer to sign Grealish. But they know Garnacho would be a better investment — as he is nine years younger.
Napoli would love to reunite Grealish with City legend Kevin De Bruyne, who signed a two-year deal on Thursday to end a trophy-laden ten years at the Etihad.
Grealish, who became England's first £100m player when he signed from Aston Villa in 2021, will be desperate to force his way into Thomas Tuchel's plans for next summer's World Cup.
Tottenham and Everton have been linked with a move, while a return to Villa could appeal.
However, it is unlikely City would receive a £45m offer from a Premier League club — meaning a loan would be his only option to stay in England.
Prem sides would also be unlikely to pay Grealish's £230,000-a-week wages in full.

Guardiola snubbed him in key games at the end of the season, including for the 1-0 FA Cup final defeat to Crystal Palace.
The City boss preferred to hand 19-year-old Claudio Echeverri his debut and leave Grealish on the bench as his side desperately chased a leveller in the closing stages at Wembley.
Jack Grealish has gone from eye-catching showman and heartthrob to miserable bench warmer - and I know who's to blame
It cost Grealish a place in Tuchel's squad for England's recent 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Andorra and 3-1 friendly defeat to Senegal.
Garnacho would prefer to stay in the Premier League but United's £70m price tag has put off suitors.
Chelsea backed off after showing interest back in January.
The Argentine winger was left out of Ruben Amorim's starting line-up for the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham and only went on as a late substitute.
Boss Amorim then told Garnacho to find a new club this summer.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to land United's goal-shy forward Rasmus Hojlund.
Inter are interested in taking the 22-year-old to the San Siro on loan next season, with a view to a permanent deal in 2026.
United would prefer the cash now as they look to give the manager extra funds to make changes.
Former Atalanta forward Hojlund scored just four Prem goals last season — ten in all competitions — and looked short of confidence by the end.
Yet his stock remains high in Italy and Inter are looking to take him back to Serie A — although they are reluctant to stump up United's £38m asking price.

The England international already has three children, son Leo - born in 2021 - and twins Delilah and Rome, who arrived back in 2023. Now Maddison's girlfriend Alexa has declared "bring on the chaos" as she posted an emotional video of the entire family on the beach while on holiday, holding baby scan photos and revealing her bump. Maddison himself is then seen writing "twins again" in the sand alongside another message that said: "Maddison twins part 2". The odds of conceiving twins twice are thought to be around one in 50,000. The playmaker posted the video on his Instagram story to his two million followers, with the caption: "Huge surprise to share with you all..." The clip was liked by a number of his Tottenham team-mates, with Dominic Solanke writing: "Beautiful chaos!" while Pedro Porro and Mickey van de Ven both replied with heart in eyes emojis. Meanwhile, England team-mates Jordan Henderson also wrote a message on the post, saying: "Congrats sheriff," while Jack Grealish said: "Congrats both. Unbelievable." Alexa had only just celebrated Father's Day with Maddison as she shared another moving post hailing her partner. She said: "Happy Father's Day to the most incredible daddy!!! It comes during a memorable period for Maddison, who won the first trophy of his Tottenham career last month after lifting the Europa League after a famous 1-0 win over Manchester United. Alexa was there to see his triumph, despite Maddison being injured for the game, as she joined him for the pitchside celebrations and posted a picture of the pair smiling with his winners' medal. She wrote: "What a wild ride! Words cannot express how proud I am of @madders & the team Day we will never forget, you make us so proud!!! COYS." Maddison has been dating model Alexa since 2020 before first child Leo arrived a year later.

Viktor Gyokeres gets huge £11m contract offer after Arsenal U-turn on transfer
Arsenal and Manchester United have both been heavily linked with Viktor Gyokeres this summer but Juventus have now emerged as a rival in the race for the Sporting Lisbon star Juventus are looking to steal in and swoop for Viktor Gyokeres with Arsenal putting a move for the Sporting Lisbon star on ice and are said to have offered the Swede a huge contract. Gyokeres, 27, is hot property after another stellar season for the Portuguese champions and has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League amid interest from Arsenal and Manchester United, though he now seems unlikely to reunite with Ruben Amorim, his former Sporting boss, at Old Trafford. Mirror Football revealed earlier this month that Gyokeres' preference would be a move to Arsenal, however, the Gunners are also pursuing Benjamin Sesko. And with reports in Portugal claiming Arsenal have now gone cold on a move due to Sporting's transfer demands, Juve have made their move. As outlined by Corriere dello Sport, the Italian giants want to muscle in on Gyokeres and have already indicated to the striker's representatives that they are willing to meet his £11million-a-year wage demands. It's claimed elsewhere that Juventus plan to make a formal offer worth in excess of £60m in the coming days in a bid to get a deal for the former Coventry City man over the line. Juventus' plot will come as a major blow to Arsenal, who remain keen on signing Gyokeres despite their reported 'frustrations' over the Sporting hierarchy's stance on a deal. It was reported earlier this year that the club and Gyokeres had a gentleman's agreement which would allow him to leave for around £60m rather than the full value of his release clause. Join the debate! Where do you think Gyokeres will be playing next season? Let us know here But that no longer appears to be the cause with Sporting angrily refuting such claims. Frederico Varandas, the club's president, has even accused Gyokeres' agent of 'playing games' as the saga begins to turn ugly. Whether or not that ultimately puts off his swathe of suitors remains to be seen but it is still thought that Gyokeres is highly likely to leave Portugal this summer. Manchester United, meanwhile, are poised to ramp up their interest in Hugo Ekitike after being told that Gyokeres would favour a move to their Premier League rivals. The Red Devils are said to have already made contact with Eintracht Frankfurt over the sought-after France Under-21 star, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool. Napoli ready to rescue Jack Grealish but could opt for Man Utd star instead
Jack Grealish faces little future at Manchester City after falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola but his escape route could potentially be blocked by a Premier League rival Napoli have handed Jack Grealish a much-needed Manchester City escape route but could see his exit blocked. The England winger appears set to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer after being axed by Pep Guardiola. Grealish was omitted from City's squad for the Club World Cup in the USA - that decision having come after the winger's Premier League minutes were restricted towards the end of last season. As it stands, there have been no offers for Grealish's services, with a loan move looking like his most likely route out of the club for now. Everton have been linked with a move but it appears that the 29-year-old now has suitors in Italy. According to The Sun, Serie A champions Napoli would be willing to spend around £45m on Grealish. They are keen to reunite the winger with former City star Kevin De Bruyne, who has been handed a two-year deal at the club. Grealish is currently working on his fitness on holiday following his absence from the City squad. Taking to Instagram, Grealish shared a selfie with a caption reading: 'Late night runs on holiday. Feeling good,' accompanied by a running man emoji and a flexed biceps emoji. Grealish remains under contract with City until 2027 but Guardiola has hinted he might be better looking for opportunities elsewhere. Speaking at the end of last season, he said: "Of course, Jack has to play. 'That's the truth. Jack is an unbelievable player that has to play football every three days. And it didn't happen this season, and last season neither. And he needs to do it with us, or another place. "But that is a question for Jack, his agent, and the club. If he stays, we'll be fine, and he'll fight like he fought since day one to make a contribution." Where do you think Jack Grealish should go if he leaves Man City? Share your thoughts in the comments below While Napoli are interested in Grealish, they do have other options. The Serie A side are also eyeing a move for Manchester United misfit Alejandro Garnacho, who is potentially seen as a better long-term investment given his age. Garnacho looks set to leave Old Trafford after a very public fall-out with Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim. Speaking about his future after the Europa League final, he said: 'It's hard for everyone The season was s***, both now losing the final tonight, and in the league, where we didn't beat anyone, that's the truth. "Up until the final, I've played every round, and today to play 20 minutes… I don't know. I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens after.' Despite Garnacho hinting at an exit, Amorim suggested he still had a future at Old Trafford. Asked if he had played his final game for the club, he replied: "No, Garnacho is a Manchester United player who is not in the squad today. But he continues to be a Manchester United player."
