A woman who claims to be a diagnosed psychopath has shared some of the most common traits that define people with the personality disorder - although not all experts agree
A woman who claims to be a diagnosed "psychopath" has shared some of the most common traits that could indicate that you also have the personality disorder. The woman, named Vic, posted a video on her TikTok account in which she said she has been diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder (ASPD), which is the term medical professionals use for the disorder more often than psychopathy.
However, Vic uses the term "psychopath" to describe herself, and has said there are three traits that she believes all people with psychopathy or ASPD have. She claimed that if someone identifies with any one of the three personality traits, then "they are a psychopath" - although it should be stressed that her definitions differ from the beliefs of experts.

In one of her videos, Vic said: "I'm a diagnosed psychopath - except I'm not. That's a lie because psychopathy can't actually be diagnosed. This is a very common comment that I get on all of my videos, so today I'm going to clear up why I call myself a psychopath and why I don't just use the term ASPD to describe myself.

"The reason I call myself a psychopath is because I identify much more with the traits of a psychopath than I do with the traits of a sociopath. And using the word 'psychopath' in the intro of my videos helps me grab the viewers' attention and gain views."
She considers herself a psychopath because sociopaths are usually "formed out of trauma", while psychopaths are born with their personality traits. She claimed sociopaths are also "more emotional and impulsive" as they are "ruled by their feelings", while psychopaths are "much more calm and collected".
In another video, she then went on to share the three traits she most commonly associates with psychopathy.
1. They seek adrenaline
First, Vic said psychopaths have a desire for adrenaline. She claimed that extreme sports such as bungee jumping or skydiving tend to be things that thrill-seeking psychopaths enjoy.
While not everyone trusts a parachute or a harness as the only bridge between life and death, psychopaths may feel a need to push themselves to the edge.

2. They like getting their own way
Vic's second trait involved a need for psychopaths to "get what they want". She insisted people diagnosed with the disorder often exhibit charismatic and manipulative behaviours, and will "do anything to achieve something".
Often, this occurs without considering how it might make other people feel.
3. They can be pretty calm
Finally, Vic said people with psychopathy or ASPD tend to have "low stress levels".

Psychopathic individuals have the ability to maintain very low levels of anxiety in social situations or when meeting new people, although this trait is highly debated among experts.
A study by the National Library of Medicine assures that psychopathy and anxiety are independent of each other. The study claims that psychopaths can experience anxiety, but their characteristic charismatic and confident behaviour often covers this fact.
What defines a psychopath?
Similarly to the assumptions offered by Vic, experts have shared that there are three common traits among people who suffer from ASPD, which are somewhat similar to the ones listed by the TikTok user. They are:

Boldness: They exhibit an extremely calm and comfortable confidence in dangerous situations.
Cruelty: A lack of empathy and consequently harsh and manipulative behaviour towards others.
Uncontrolled behaviour: They display impulsive actions and a lack of self-control.
According to experts, there are two types of psychopaths within the disorder's spectrum. On one hand, the primary psychopath is someone who shows little fear, remains calm in dangerous situations, and is cold towards others. On the other hand, the secondary psychopath is more anxious, emotionally reactive, and possibly has a history of traumatic experiences.

TikTok star 'murdered Marine' before dancing in videos to footage from the news

Joshua Guzman and Marko Cinan have been accused of shooting 'devoted father' and 'beloved fiancee' Anthony Sanders at a mall in Houston, Texas, in front of his son and partner A TikToker accused of murdering a Marine veteran in a parking garage allegedly posted a video of himself to the social media dancing to rap music as coverage of the incident played in the background. Joshua Guzman, 22, is one of two men who have been charged with the murder of Anthony Sanders, a 30-year-old Marine veteran who was shot to death in front of his fiancee and their toddler son in the garage of the Galleria Mall in Houston, Texas. Charges were levelled against Guzman and 23-year-old Marko Cinan after the former's mother passed police a TikTok video allegedly showing him dancing to news coverage of the incident while lip-syncing to rap songs. In one of several videos created by Guzman, who boasts 50,000 followers on TikTok, the 22-year-old can allegedly be seen lip syncing along Cinan to the song "Graffiti" by rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again. The song includes the lyrics: "I got locked in that cell and they ain't let me out." Guzman reportedly turned himself in to police on June 30, days after Cinan was charged on June 25, with his attorney, Romy Kaplan, telling local media he claimed to have been approached with a knife, arguing the case was one of "self-defence". Mr Kaplan: "Somebody approached him not once, but twice, with a knife, but also possibly a gun." He added: "We cooperated with HPD. "We met with HPD already for voluntary surrender, so everything that's been done has been forthright and honest, and I look forward to vigorously defending his rights." But Ronyel Sanders, Mr Sanders' mother, claimed to have been on a phone call with her son when he was shot, telling local NBC News affiliate station KRPC that he was "protecting his son and his fiancée" at the time. A GoFundMe page set up in the wake of Mr Sanders' death describes the man as a "devoted father" and "beloved fiancee". A statement posted to the site reads: "Anthony Sanders was abruptly taken away from us, leaving behind shattered hearts and unfinished dreams due to the senseless act of murder." "Anthony was a devoted father, beloved fiancé to Selena, cherished son, nephew, cousin, and brother whose kindness warmed every heart around him. "His greatest joy was his precious baby boy and his beautiful fiancée, Selena—the family he passionately worked to support. In the wake of this profound loss, Anthony's grieving mother humbly invites anyone who wishes to support the family to donate, especially for Selena, whose care and well-being are now a priority."

Clinic 'offers cosmetic surgery procedures with no medical qualifications'

A woman with allegedly no verified UK medical credentials was caught offering both upper and lower eyelid procedures inside what appeared to be a dingy, non-sterile flat above a restaurant in Liverpool An undercover investigation has exposed the potential dangers of unregulated cosmetic clinics after a TV reporter was offered surgical procedures by a woman with reportedly no recognised medical qualifications in the UK. In the report, 5 News booked an appointment with a woman who allegedly has no verified UK medical credentials. Footage shows the reporter being offered both upper and lower eyelid procedures inside what appeared to be a dingy, non-sterile flat above a restaurant in Liverpool City Centre. The appointment was arranged within minutes via text, according to 5 News. However, the reporter only received the exact location 48 hours before the procedure - a flat where the woman and an assistant appeared ready to carry out the surgeries using local anaesthetic, and accepting only cash. ‌ During the appointment, the woman was reportedly prepared to begin without carrying out basic safety protocols. No medical consultation or patient history was taken, and when questioned about her credentials, she refused to confirm whether she had any. When asked by the reporter whether she was a doctor or how many surgeries she had previously performed, the woman also declined to answer. ‌ 5 News has shown its findings to Health Secretary Wes Streeting, who vowed to urgently examine the legal loopholes that allowed unqualified individuals to perform risky surgical procedures that can result in life-changing harm. Responding to the footage, Mr Streeting said: 'This is an extremely concerning case you've raised with me, and I will go away now and look at the laws in place to make sure that we don't have loopholes that enable this kind of unsafe and unregulated practice.' Leading UK eye surgeons warn that when performed incorrectly, eyelid surgery can cause permanent scarring, infection - and even blindness. Despite these risks, it remains legal in the UK for anyone to perform cosmetic surgery, as long as they do not falsely claim to be a registered doctor or surgeon. Campaigners argue that this loophole puts lives in danger and are calling on the Government to take immediate action. One of the procedures on offer - upper blepharoplasty, which involves removing excess eyelid skin to create a more youthful appearance - has surged in popularity due to social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook. According to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), it's now the UK's third most popular cosmetic procedure and the fastest-growing among women. 5 News has also obtained new data showing a 65% increase in complaints about backstreet surgery over the past year - rising from 404 from 2021–2023, to 667 from 2024–2025.

Serial killer Joanna Dennehy was my evil stepmum… she was a sex-maniac who wanted us to ‘perform' & rinsed my dad's cash

Scroll down as Dani got candid on Joanna teaching her to "pole dance" PURE EVIL Serial killer Joanna Dennehy was my evil stepmum… she was a sex-maniac who wanted us to 'perform' & rinsed my dad's cash JOANNA Dennehy is one of the most dangerous women in the UK and 13 years ago, she was Dani Hitchcock's evil stepmother. Now, Dani, who is from Peterborough and works in childcare, has bravely opened up on what it was really like to have a triple murderer in her life. 4 Joanna Dennehy's stepdaughter has bravely spoken out on what it was really like to have one of Britain's most dangerous women as a stepmum Credit: TikTok/@daniemilyx 4 Joanna Dennehy murdered three men and stabbed two more before going on the run Credit: PA 4 Joanna Dennehy, while still on the run from the police Credit: PA:Press Association 4 Dani Hitchcock claimed that not only did Joanna "rinse" her father's cash, but she even made her "perform", when she was just 13-years-old Credit: TikTok/@daniemilyx Dani was just 13-years-old when she first met her father's girlfriend at the time, Joanna Dennehy, 42, who then went on to murder three men and dump their bodies in ditches in Cambridgeshire in 2013. Dani described Joanna as an 'evil stepmum,' who was far worse than ones you see 'in films.' She claimed that when she first met Joanna, the family went on a trip to the cinema, but Dani acknowledged that her new stepmum barely said a word to her or her brothers. Dani stressed she had a 'gut feeling straight away' that Joanna was 'not a very nice person,' as she voiced: 'That good impression was never set - [she was a] very cold person, didn't speak to us, didn't smile.' Shortly after her breakup with Dani's dad in 2012, Joanna, from St Albans, Herts., murdered three men - Lukasz Slaboszewski, 31, John Chapman, 56, and Kevin Lee, 48 - and stabbed two more before going on the run and posting pictures of herself holding a huge knife. She was convicted of three counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder in November that year. The court was told she was a diagnosed 'psychopath' with a 'lust for blood' who had been on probation for other offences when she went on her killing spree. A judge called her "cruel, calculating, selfish, and manipulative" after a court heard of her murderous antics, which involved mutilating a corpse and squeezing the body into a sequined black dress. Reflecting on the time Joanna was in her life, Dani described the killer as 'really awful' and 'so cold', with 'no motherly type of way about her.' Not only this, but Dani believes that Joanna 'resented' her, as she shared: 'I don't think she liked me, she wanted to steal the spotlight that was meant to be on us, she wanted that for herself.' I've looked dozens of serial killers in the eye… but psychotic Brit terrified me most And not only did Dani get bad vibes from Joanna, who once described killing as "moreish and fun" and has become one of four women in the country to be sentenced to a whole life behind bars, but she also claimed that she would 'rinse' her dad, who was diagnosed with MS aged 30, for cash too. Dani admitted: 'She would make sure that my dad would spend good money on her, and she would absolutely rinse him of his money - she liked that.' Not only did Joanna spend her father's 'well-earned' cash on herself, but she would also make 'very inappropriate comments' too, as Dani confessed: 'She once said something along the lines of 'I'm just going to give this to your dad because I just want to make him like horny' - you don't say that to a 13-year-old.' I got very dodgy vibes off her - she was so cold Dani Hitchcock Not only this, but shortly after her clip went viral, Dani uploaded a follow-up video, whereby she got candid on her 'bonding time' with Joanna. Dani explained that Joanna, who she described as an 'alcoholic' who would often be 'up drinking till early hours of the morning', wanted to have 'bonding time' with her, but it was really 'for her own benefit.' Dani recognised that not only was Joanna 'malicious,' with a 'wicked mind', but she was also 'very sex-orientated,' and somewhat a 'sex-maniac.' Teaching her 'pole dancing' And when Dani was just 13-years-old, she recalled moments where Joanna would teach her provocative dance moves to Do It Like a Dude by Jessie J. Dani described it as 'pole dancing without the pole', as she bravely expressed: 'We practiced these moves for hours upon hours - she kept being like 'we've got to perform it, we're going to perform it together.'' Joanna Dennehy's victims Twisted Joanna Dennehy's murder spree has been labelled the 'most dangerous person' crimologist Christopher Berry-Dee has 'ever, ever come into contact with' - here we look at her chilling crimes. Dennehy's first victim was her housemate Lukasz Slaboszewski, 31, on March 19, 2013. She convinced the Polish national that she wanted to meet him for sex before stabbing him in the heart and dumping his body in a wheelie bin, Falklands War veteran John Chapman, 56, who was also believed to have lived with Dennehy, was murdered by her a week later. Property developer Kevin Lee became Dennehy's final victim on March 29. He was her landlord and lover before she ended his life. In a letter to a former lover, Dennehy revealed she dressed Lee in a black sequinned to 'humiliate him' and dumped his body in Newborough. Dennehy also tried to kill two others during her 10-day spree. She recruited accomplice Gary Stretch, 47, and the pair drove to Hereford where she stabbed John Rogers, 64, and Robin Bereza, 57. Fortunately, both of them survived. Dennehy received a life term for the killings and attempted murders. Stretch was jailed for life after being found guilty of attempted murder. Not only has Dani been candid online about moments alongside Joanna, who even plotted to kill Rost West and chop off a guard's finger to escape 'Monster Mansion' jail, but she previously opened up on this to Fabulous, as she expressed: 'I was so uncomfortable. I'd never liked Joanna and I couldn't understand why she had come into my room urging me to pole dance with her. 'It made no sense, and I felt sick as she encouraged me to wiggle my hips - and then suggested we perform a routine for my dad. It was so inappropriate, encouraging a child to be 'sexy'. 'She lived with my dad for two-and-a-half years, and I never warmed to her. In fact, I got very dodgy vibes off her - she was so cold. It made me feel really uneasy, a feeling which has stayed with me to this day.' Dennehy robbed a significant part of my childhood and the memories of it linger into adulthood Dani Hitchcock Dani confessed to being 'emotionally traumatised by her behaviour and presence' which created a 'toxic atmosphere' in her household. She added: 'Boundaries were always blurred with her. I dreaded being at dad's house, but I wanted to see him. 'Dennehy robbed a significant part of my childhood and the memories of it linger into adulthood. 'Her emotional abuse has impacted me. As a result of her behaviour, I cut people off really easily, but thankfully I also forgive easily.' 'Lucky escape' Dani's TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @daniemilyx, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has racked up 176,600 views. It's also amassed 5,489 likes and 85 comments. This is heartbreaking, you all had a very lucky escape from her! TikTok user Social media users were gobsmacked to hear Dani's story and claimed that she and her siblings had a 'very lucky escape.' One person said: 'Seems your dad and you had a VERY VERY lucky escape.' Another added: 'My god you all had a very lucky escape. She is pure evil.' A third agreed and commented: 'This is heartbreaking, you all had a very lucky escape from her!!'
