
UAE President receives Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain

ABU DHABI (WAM)UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, at Qasr Al Bahr.During the meeting, Their Highnesses exchanged greetings with guests at the majlis and engaged in friendly conversation.They also discussed several topics related to national affairs and matters that support the UAE's development and progress.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Abu Dhabi announces AED4.62bn housing benefit package
His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has approved a housing benefits package worth AED4.62 billion for 3,052 citizens in the emirate. The approved package include housing loans amounting to AED4.4 billion benefiting 2,862 citizens, and exemptions from loan repayments totalling AED212 million benefiting 190 citizens, limited-income retirees and beneficiaries of deceased citizens. The disbursement of the second housing package of 2025 comes ahead of Eid Al Adha and reflects the leadership's ongoing commitment to comprehensive development, enhancing the wellbeing and stability of Emirati families, empowering them to actively contribute to the nation's progress, in line with UAE Year of Community objectives aimed at strengthening social cohesion and reinforcing community solidarity. The package follows the recent endorsement of an additional community support subsidy of AED250,000 for existing beneficiaries of housing loans, including a reduction of up to 50 per cent in monthly loan instalments, and a wide range of other services and facilities. It brings the total housing benefits delivered to citizens in Abu Dhabi in 2025 to AED11.38 billion.

UAE President checks on wellbeing of Emirati Hajj pilgrims
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone call on Thursday with the Head of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office to enquire about the wellbeing of Emirati pilgrims performing Hajj at the holy sites. His Highness congratulated them on completing their pilgrimage and on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, wishing them continued good health. The call was made to His Excellency Dr Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and Head of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office. His Highness also praised Saudi Arabia for the exceptional services and facilities it provides to ensure the comfort and safety of pilgrims throughout the Hajj. Dr Al Darei expressed his deep appreciation for the President's ongoing commitment to following up on the needs of UAE citizens, both at home and abroad. He also thanked His Highness for his continued support of the Pilgrims Affairs Office, which enables the team to deliver comprehensive services and ensure a smooth and safe Hajj experience for all Emirati pilgrims.
