Dafran: Israeli enemy determined not to allow baby milk into Gaza

Gaza – Saba: Khalil Dafran, spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, stated today, Tuesday, that the Israeli occupation forces remain determined not to allow baby milk into the besieged Gaza Strip. Dafran emphasized in press remarks published by the Saba news agency that the aid entering Gaza is not reaching those who truly need it. He warned that nearly 300,000 people suffering from chronic diseases—most of whom are dying—are victims of severe malnutrition. Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported five new deaths in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, including two children. The Ministry noted that the total death toll from starvation and malnutrition has now reached 227, including 103 children, amid the ongoing blockade and harsh humanitarian conditions faced by Gaza's population. Hunger in Gaza is intensifying, while international organizations struggle to find ways to deliver aid, medicines, and nutritional supplements to starving children because of Israeli-imposed restrictions. This situation threatens the lives of thousands who lack proper nutrition. With U.S. and European backing, the Israeli army has, since October 7, 2023, continued to commit crimes of genocide and a strict siege on Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 61,599 Palestinian civilians—mostly children and women—and injuries to 154,088 others. The toll remains incomplete as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, unreachable by rescue and ambulance teams. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

UN Confirms Over 100 Palestinians Martyred in Two Days at Gaza Aid Distribution Points

New York – Saba: Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, stated Friday that more than 100 people were martyred and hundreds injured in Gaza over the past two days while attempting to access food at military aid distribution points. During a daily press briefing, the UN official emphasized that no one should risk their lives to obtain food, stressing the imperative to protect civilians at all costs. He called for unimpeded and sufficient aid distribution to Palestinians in Gaza, warning that months of deprivation have deepened the crisis. Haq underscored the urgent need to remove obstacles hindering aid flow into Gaza and ensure humanitarian workers can perform their duties swiftly and safely. Israeli enemy crimes against Palestinians awaiting aid in Gaza continue daily since the implementation of the "Israeli-American mechanism" supervised by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" on May 27. Earlier Friday, Gaza's Health Ministry reported the total martyrs of the "bread queues" - aid seekers arriving at hospitals - has risen to 1,383 martyrs and over 9,218 injuries since May 27. With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has committed genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 60,332 Palestinian civilian martyrs (mostly women and children) and 147,643 injured - incomplete figures as thousands remain trapped under rubble inaccessible to rescue teams Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Gaza Health Ministry: Hospitals drowning in sea of injuries, patient numbers exceed capacity

The ministry renewed urgent appeals to the international community and UN agencies for immediate, effective support to Gaza's collapsing healthcare system. Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli enemy army—with American and European support—has committed genocidal crimes resulting in: - 60,332 Palestinian martyrs (mostly women/children) - 147,643 injured (incomplete count, thousands still trapped under rubble) Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
