Get a FREE 50-inch TV or £145 off your bill with Virgin Media's latest broadband bundles

VIRGIN MEDIA is offering one of the best freebies I've seen all year. Right now, new customers get a choice between a free 50-inch Toshiba Ultra HD TV or £145 bill credit when you sign up for one of its selected bundles. 1 Virgin Media TV & Broadband bundles, from £54.99/month (Claim FREE 50-inch TV or £145 bill credit) BUY FROM VIRGIN MEDIA Virgin's no stranger to tempting perks, I've seen everything from games consoles to robot hoovers thrown in before. This time, it's all about home entertainment, so if you've been toying with a broadband and TV upgrade, this is a solid excuse to make the move. You can either grab a huge 50-inch 4K telly worth £260, or take the £145 credit off your bill, ideal if you're more about saving cash than adding another screen to the house. The offer is only around for a short time though, from August 7th to August 13th, and it's exclusively online. So if you've been thinking about switching broadband, now's the time to get on it. If you're wondering how to switch broadband providers, it's easier than you think. In most cases, Virgin Media will handle the switch for you, especially if you're moving from an Openreach provider like BT, Sky or TalkTalk. Just pick your new bundle and Virgin will take care of the rest. We've also put together a simple guide on how to cancel your broadband and dodge any nasty exit fees, so you're not left stuck in a contract you don't want. Which Virgin Media bundle gets you the freebie? To claim the TV or bill credit, you'll need to sign up for one of these selected bundles: For families and sports fans, the Bigger Combo Bundle + Sports HD M500 is ideal. You get 200+ channels, including Sky Sports HD, so you can catch every F1 race, Premier League match and more, all in crystal-clear high definition. It also comes with M500 fibre broadband, with average speeds of 516Mbps. That's more than enough for busy homes with loads of devices on the go at once. For film and TV lovers, the Biggest Combo Bundle M500 gives you the same broadband coverage and over 210 channels, including Sky Sports HD, Sky Cinema HD, and even Netflix Standard built in. If you want the full package, the Mega Volt Bundle is the top-tier option, with Virgin's fastest Gig1 Fibre broadband, with average speeds of 1130Mbps. There's also 240+ TV channels, Netflix Standard, Sky Sports and Cinema HD included. Plus, you'll get an Unlimited O2 SIM with data roaming in 75 countries, and extras like Disney+ or Amazon Prime Video for six months. Best of all, there's no set-up fee (a nice saving of £35), and if you refer a friend, you'll both get £50 credit. As a Virgin Media O2 customer, you'll also unlock Priority from O2, giving you early access to gig tickets, discounts, and freebies that could save you up to £500 a year. This deal only runs until August 13, so if a free telly (or cash credit) sounds good, don't let the grass grow. And if you're ready to start comparing, we've rounded up the best broadband deals from all the big providers to help you find the perfect fit.
