He took her photos from various social media accounts to doctored them into a objective material by using AI software. The authorities arrested Bora under the allegations of cyberbullying. He was first gone underground, but was traced later with the help of several digital trails. He was then arrested from a rented apartment in Tinsukia.
After several questioning, it came out Bora reportedly operated an account to take revenge from Phukan, as he was frustrated following their breakup. His smartphones have been lodged and sent further for forensic analysis. Authorities reported that Bora employed these morphed pictures using AI-based software in the anger of their breakup.
