Georgia football offers trio of international recruits
The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to three-star edge rusher Gustaf Henriks Ras, who is a member of the class of 2026. Georgia is the 10th Division I program to offer Ras.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound edge rusher also plays tight end for his high school. Ras is unique because he is from Stockholm, Sweden. He plays football for RIG Academy and is the top ranked recruit in Sweden. He's ranked as the No. 69 edge rusher in the class of 2026.

Ras has recent scholarship offers from Liberty, Boise State, South Carolina, Ole Miss and more. He is an impressive athlete with a long wingspan. Ras grew up playing ice hockey.
Georgia Bulldogs football recruiting offer
Ras impressed Georgia coaches at UGA's camp and was one of multiple international prospects that Georgia offered. The Bulldogs also offered one of Ras' high school teammates in Adrian Bekibele.

Bekibele is a three-star recruit in the class of 2026 as well. He plays defensive line and has good size. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive lineman is the No. 110 player at his position in the class of 2026.

Bekibele is Sweden's second-best recruit behind Ras. The three-star has excellent mobility at his size.
UGA offers Marvin Nguetsop
Georgia offered 6-foot-7, 275-pound German defensive lineman Marvin Nguetsop, who is a member of the class of 2027. The Bulldogs offered Nguetsop after impressing in camp. Michigan later offered the talented defender.

His floater game and footwork around the rim would add a much-needed element for Oklahoma City as the Thunder aim to even this series at two games a piece. German teenager Engel's historic run ends in straight-set loss to Auger-Aliassime
STUTTGART, Germany — A day after Justin Engel became the youngest tennis player in 40 years to reach a men's tour quarterfinal on grass, his run at the Stuttgart Open ended with a loss to Felix Auger-Aliassime on Friday. The 17-year-old German gave former U.S. Open semifinalist Auger-Aliassime a tough fight in the first set before the Canadian took a 7-6 (3), 6-3 win. Auger-Aliassime next plays second-seeded Taylor Fritz in the semifinals. The Canadian's victory keeps up a record of reaching the semifinals all three times he's played in Stuttgart. He was runner-up in 2019 and 2021. Engel's upset win over U.S. player Alex Michelsen on Thursday made him the youngest player to reach the quarters of any tour-level men's grass-court event since Boris Becker won Wimbledon as a 17-year-old in 1985. Engel this week also became the second-youngest player since 1990, behind Rafael Nadal, to have won a match on all three surfaces — grass, clay and hard-court — on the tour.

5-star LB Tyler Atkinson taking Georgia official visit The Georgia Bulldogs are preparing for another significant official visit weekend and while the number of visitors might be lower, Athens is set to host several elite recruits. Among them is five-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson. Atkinson is a familiar face in Athens, having visited Georgia multiple times for camps and prior visits. The Bulldogs have been actively recruiting him for years, using these in-person opportunities to sway Atkinson to come play between the hedges. Georgia has been the well-known leader for Atkinson and many people look at him as a potential future Butkus Award winner for the Bulldogs if he joins the program. Georgia has made Atkinson a top priority throughout his time during high school and needs to land a top an in-state prospect like him. This official visit will go a long way in determining if the Bulldogs can land Atkinson and keep him home from the other contenders. The five-star class of 2026 prospect went on official visits to Oregon and Clemson already and both teams are making a strong push for Atkinson. The Bulldogs also are after five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan. They already have a commitment from five-star quarterback Jared Curtis, who is the only five-star in Georgia's fifth-ranked recruiting class. Ranked as the nation's No. 8 overall recruit by the On3 Industry Rankings, Atkinson is one of the best players in the nation. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker had a dominant junior year. He led Grayson to a 14-1 record and a Georgia AAAAAA state championship, racking up 166 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble. 247Sports projects that Atkinson will commit to Georgia football.
