M&S launches new Marmite range and 'love or hate' items have people talking
Fans of Marmite might want to make their way to Marks & Spencer, as the supermarket chain has recently launched a new range inspired by the nation's most controversial condiment. Whether you love it or hate it, Marmite isn't going anywhere, and M&S has leaned into the trend.
The beloved supermarket, which recently launched a strawberry sandwich, is now offering a fresh range of Marmite -inspired treats - as well as some desserts people can't stop talking about. It comes as the popular food social media page New Foods UK shared a video showing off the new products - and fans are obsessed. Many have already been rushing out to buy them.
New products include a Marmite Unique Wood Fire Stonebaked Base pizza for £6, Marmite Mac and Cheese for £3.75, as well as Marmite Mac and Cheese Bites. These products are currently available in store but not listed online yet.
On Wednesday evening (July 9), a shopper also shared a video on TikTok, writing: "M&S New marmite range in now. Something you love or hate but something for everyone. Get down to store now to find the new lines."
M&S also offers other Marmite products in store, including a cheddar cheese and Marmite sandwich, as well as a whole block of Marmite cheddar, plus High Protein It's Cheese Clouds and Marmite and Dinky Cheese Pinwheels & Marmite.
Commenting on the New Foods UK video, one individual said: "I'm quitting the diet tomorrow!! I need that 3 cheese marmite pizza in my life ASAP!"
"I bought the marmite cheese, it was lush," added another. "The pizza! The pizza!" commented another excited shopper about the pizza.
But it was one item that got everyone's tongues wagging - the 'chunked n' loaded' cookies. While the chain's white chocolate cookies previously had people talking, shoppers now can't get enough of these new treats, which have been described as "crunchy, chewy, soft & gooey."
The cookies are available in pistachio, chocolate and hazelnut, as well as raspberry cheesecake flavours.
M&S states: "Get ready to upgrade your cookie game – these chunky, single-serve delights are made to a rich all-butter recipe, hand-finished and baked in store every day for that proper bakery-style bite. And because we don't do ordinary, these are the fir.st cookies on the high street to be both filled and topped."
Popular social media influencer Katylee Bailey, who boats over three million followers, recently said: "Don't walk...run to Marks and Spencer. When I tell you these are amazing… wow!".
"Stop it right now, running there now," commented one individual on her video. "Pistachio one is unreal," insisted one other.
One added: "I've just done exactly the same. Seen them on here did school run and went straight to M&S."
The cookies are available in stores around the UK now and are priced as £2 each.

Sainsbury's shoppers rush to pick up new ‘funky' version of beloved chocolate bar – fans say it's ‘absolutely brilliant'
SWEET-TOOTHED Brits are rushing to Sainsbury's to pick up a new version of a classic chocolate bar. The "funky" version recently hit shelves, enticing shoppers with an exciting new twist. 1 A rare version of a KitKat has sent chocolate fans into a frenzy as they rush to try the fun new flavour. The KitKat Chunky Funky is the latest limited edition treat from Nestle. And shoppers can pick up this sweet treat from Sainsbury's for just £1 a bar. The highly-anticipated new snack was shared on the Facebook group New Foods UK. One shopper shared a picture of a four-pack containing snack size versions of the chocolate treat. New twist It adds a fun twist on the original KitKat Chunky, substituting in a cocoa wafer, which is coated in marbled milk and white chocolate. Shoppers shared their excitement over the new release in the comments section. "I already had them, absolutely brilliant," wrote one impressed customer. "Oh I need to get to the shop," said another eager Facebook user. "To quote Andy Pipkin: 'I want that one'," joked a third commenter. We've outdone ourselves with this one' say Cadbury Ireland as they reveal new limited edition bar 'coming soon History of KitKats The classic KitKat Chunky first hit UK shelves in 1999, following the original two and four finger bars. It has solidified itself as a fan favourite, but is also known for its innovative limited edition flavours. Such as the Peanut Butter, White Chocolate, and Orange editions of the bar. Other limited edition versions inlcude the Hazelnut Cream, Coconut, and Brownie. Meanwhile, the original KitKat bar was first established in 1935, in York. How to save money on chocolate We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar. Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs... Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars. Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere. Websites like let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal. Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced. They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged. Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar. So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger. More on new flavours And Nestle previously released two new KitKat flavours in recent weeks. Terry's Chocolate Orange has launched a new flavour but it is only available from one UK supermarket. Plus, two new Cadbury's chocolate bars that have hit UK shelves for first time. And Quality Street has after two years. A rare new Cadbury's chocolate bar has been described as combining two sweet treat favourites.

'I tried 5 Skims-style shaping bodysuits and this £20 one was surprisingly the best'
With it being peak occasionwear season, Mirror's shopping writer Grace has ranked the best tried-and-tested Skims-like shaping bodysuits around, with one affordable buy coming out on top Kim Kardashian's brand Skims has quickly become a cult favourite for so many thanks to its comfy, high-quality, body-positive, and even sometimes controversial (we're looking at you, Skims face wrap) shapewear and lingerie. However, with price tags of around £74 for a shaping bodysuit and sometimes into the £100s for a limited-edition collab, its shapewear is definitely an investment that not everyone has. And with it being prime occasionwear season, when you may be looking for that extra support, I'm here to help you out with tried-and-tested Skims-like shaping bodysuits to see what ranks best for compression, fit, price, and overall comfort. From Boux Avenue to H&M and even Amazon, I've rounded up my list of five of the best, depending on what qualities you are looking for, with one coming out on top. Best overall Dorina brushed micro bodysuit in brown, £20 Pros: Thong back so no visible panty line, doesn't look like shapewear so can be worn on its own; flattering square neckline; thick, quality material Cons: Thick material adds a slightly bulky layer Out of the five I tried, this brushed jersey one from Dorina was my winner. I was so surprised to feel the thick, high-quality material when I got it out of the packet, considering the affordable £20 price tag. I love that this had a thong back so there's no risk of the dreaded VPL, and the button-fastening in the crotch makes this super easy to remove. I also love the on-trend chocolate brown colour and flattering square neckline, which make this suitable for wearing out on its own. I'm usually not a fan of the trend of wearing shapewear as actual clothing, but you could 100% get away with it with this Dorina one. Not to mention, the most important aspect is that it's super supportive, smooth, and sculpting, so it will make you feel your best. My only criticism is that due to the thick brushed jersey material, if you're wearing something skin-tight, this may add a bulky-feeling layer underneath. Best for shaping and tummy control H&M Firm shape Sculpting Thong body, currently £17 Pros: Sculpts and compresses; flattering on the bust; different skin tones available Compared to the Dorina one, this sculpting thong body from H&M is more of an underwear bodysuit. It is available in five different skin tones and definitely has the most compressive effect on the stomach. If you're trying to sculpt your body for a summer wedding or event, this is one of the best choices. The sculpting material has fantastic tummy control, and if you've got smaller boobs, this helps give them a subtle lift and gorgeous shape. However, if you've got a larger chest, you may struggle getting the support you need as there is no padding or lining around the cups. Again, bonus points are given for the thong back and adjustable shoulder straps. Best chest support Dorina Mix & Match Sublime Sculpt medium control light padded thong bodysuit in black, £28 Pros: Adjustable straps; padded cups with good support for small to medium boobs; removable straps for under strapless/one-shoulder pieces Cons: Sizing only goes up to an E cup If you're looking for more support or padding around the chest area, the Sulbime Sculpt bodysuit from Dorina is your best bet. Similar to SKIMS' popular Core Sculpt Underwire Bodysuit, £149, the moulded cups and sculpted fit is so flattering. Additionally, the removable and adjustable straps make this suitable for underneath strapless and one-shoulder dresses or tops. Unfortunately, this bodysuit only goes up to a cup size D on ASOS and an E on the Dorina website, which can be quite restrictive if you've got a chest any larger. Best for affordability ZENYA Women Shapewear Bodysuit, currently £10.19 Pros: Adjustable straps; compresses the stomach well; affordable Cons: Not seamless so can show through clothing; crotch is long At under £12, this is by far the most affordable option and a great option if you want some extra shaping without breaking the bank. Made from a stretchy, lightweight nylon and spandex blend, this bodysuit is completely breathable, making it a great underlayer for summertime. It also features a tummy control body shaper without uncomfortable wires, so it's great for sculpting and staying comfy. The main issue I found with this one, however, is that it's not seamless and provides a lot of coverage on your bum, which results in a visible panty line when worn under certain tight pieces of clothing. It also doesn't have a high leg cut like the others, so it doesn't create as much of a flattering silhouette. Best for comfort Boux Avenue Smoothing Built In Support Bodysuit, £35 Pros: Thong back so no visible panty line; different skin tones available; supportive on the bust Cons: Needs smaller sizes as it doesn't sculpt/compress the stomach as well as it could The Smoothing Built In Support Bodysuit from Boux Avenue ranked highest for me in terms of comfort. With all the others, I think you would reach the end of the day feeling a sigh of relief to finally be out of your shaping bodysuit. However, this is one you could easily wear for the entire day without even having a thought that you're wearing shapewear. As with H&M's one, there is a variety of skin tones to choose from, and the adjustable straps, combined with the seamless stretch-knit material, make this great for supporting your chest. If there were smaller sizes available and/or slightly better compression on the stomach area, this would rank as my number one. The smallest size is a small cup size A-D. I'm a pretty standard size 10 and find this ever-so-slightly baggy at the waist, meaning if you were any smaller, it may border on being too big. However, this is dependent on your body shape.

‘I'm a shopping writer and these are the holiday clothes I'd buy for under £30'
From comfy denim shorts to a shell print dress, here are my top picks As a fashion writer it's my day job to scour the high street for the best clothing buys, finding everything from the denim shorts with the most flattering fit to comfy yet chic wedding guest dresses. Knowing what to buy for a holiday can be tricky, especially if you have limited space in your suitcase, plus the cost of a new holiday haul can add up. Since I shop for a living, I've rounded up some of my favourite buys that I'd snap up if I was jetting off somewhere sunny soon rather than getting caught in downpours in good old Blighty. Is that Ibiza I hear calling my name? From pretty warm weather dresses to practical yet stylish summer shoes and bags, I've compiled a list of my favourite high street finds. The best bit? They all cost £30 or less. Boden Belle Broderie Sleeve Top - £22 (originally £44) Boden's Belle Broderie Sleeve Top is now 50% off and is a great basic to take in your holiday suitcase. It's essentially a staple white top that'll go with all manner of pieces from denim shorts to maxi skirts, but the frill sleeves give it a dressier feel than your standard vest or tee. One Boden shopper who purchased the top said: "Beautiful colour, great design - nice bit of fabric under the sleeve to ensure your bra isn't on show! Nice touch - cleverly thought out." One reviewer did have reservations about the top's shoulder detail, writing: "I loved the colour, but unfortunately the shoulders were just too wide and looked odd so I had to return." The top, which is also available in four other colours, is super versatile and its 100% cotton material means it'll be breathable in the heat. New Look Navy Shell Print Satin V-Neck Midi Dress - £22 (originally £37) You can't go wrong with shell and lobster print which are huge news this summer. As a neutral girl I tend to steer clear of anything too bright, so I love that this New Look Navy Shell Print Satin V-Neck Midi Dress comes in a darker hue. The Dress is perfect for summer evenings thanks to the figure skimming fit and flutter sleeves that add a feminine touch. I'd style the dress with a straw clutch bag and some strappy sandals. Whilst I really love the design of this dress, I reckon that the cut on the bust area may come up small if you have a fuller bust. That being said, I like that the dress has small sleeves which is handy if you're conscious of your arms. Marks and Spencer Woven Top Handle Shopper - £25 M&S do an amazing selection of bags, and this woven top handle shopper works great for holidays thanks to its roomy interior and beachy straw-like material. It's also available in pink if you fancy adding a pop of colour to your wardrobe, but personally I like that the neutral hue goes with anything. One shopper who purchased the bag from M&S said: "Excellent bag. Good quality, comfortable strap, very pleased." Another did mention they'd found the bag a little irritating to use, writing: "Ok bag for the price. A little too big for me and has an inside cotton bag that is not fixed, so slips around and needs sewing in." Despite this, I think it's a good all-rounder for summer, especially if you've only got room in your suitcase for one bag. H&M White Linen Shirt - £28 A linen shirt is a summer staple and will work harder than most other things in your wardrobe. Wear it buttoned up with denim shorts for a day out exploring, or wear it over a bikini as a cover-up, the possibilities are endless. This white Linen Shirt from H&M is made from 100% linen meaning it'll be breathable in sticky weather. One customer who purchased the shirt did say as part of their review: "The fabric does have a slightly stiff/scratchy feel but hoping it softens up with wear and washing. I'm also hoping it doesn't shrink when I wash it!" Despite this, the shirt has a 4.7 average star rating out of a possible five on H&M's website. One happy purchaser said 'This is the best linen shirt I have ever owned.' ASOS Design Soft Denim Pull On Short - £22 These ASOS Design soft pull on shorts are a great alternative for when it's too warm to wear rigid denim. Thanks to the lightweight material, these shorts give the same vibe as their more structured denim counterparts but are much comfier. The shorts, which are available in UK sizes 10-18, can also be purchased with a matching top for £24, giving you a co-ord that can also be worn as separates when teamed with other items in your wardrobe. The only drawback I can see with these denim shorts is that they don't seem to have a drawstring detail at the front, only a stretch panel at the back. Next High Neck Essential Shaping Swimsuit - £18 Next's High Neck Essential Shaping Swimsuit is available in a staple black colour or a blue patterned print. The classic design looks chic and shoppers love the costume as it comes in both regular and petite sizes. One said: "Excellent quality and brilliant to be able to buy a petite costume. Please could you do it in other colours." One thing to note is that one customer felt the material was 'see-through' whilst another said it was 'too thin.' Despite this, a different customer was pleased with the fit and price tag, writing: "Fits perfect and the material looks great, definitely recommend. The price is affordable." PLT Square Toe Thong Flat Sandals - £16 A staple pair of black sandals will see you through many a holiday look and the gold toned detail on these Square Toe Thong Sandals adds a chic touch. The sandals are available in UK shoe sizes 3-8 and also come in white. One slight drawback I can see with these shoes is that the thong toe could potentially be a little uncomfortable for those who aren't used to it, but I love the barely-there design. Mango Draped Shirt Dress - £23 (originally £50) Ideal for a city break or beach holiday evenings, this Mango Draped Shirt Dress features a flattering draped detail that gives it a figure-hugging shape without being uncomfortable. I'd keep the look simple and team this gorgeous dress with white shoes and a straw bag. Whilst I love the cut of this dress, if you're fuller busted I think it could mean the dress may gape at the chest if you want it cinched round the waist. However, I do think the dress is a classic and won't date, meaning you could dig it out year after year. Amazon Reoria Thong Bodysuit - £20 There's little worse than wearing a bra during sweaty weather so I love this Amazon Reoria Bodysuit for warmer wdays. It has a thong detail so it won't give a VPL and it has a double lined fabric which makes it supportive. I've tried Reoria bodysuits before and can vouch for their quality. It's currently available in five colours. One shopper said however, that they found the bodysuit 'runs a tad small' though another described it as 'waist smoothing.' I love that the bodysuit can be styled with skirts, shorts, and trousers for maximum wear. New Look Pink Fruit Print Frill Trim Midi Dress - £20 (originally £35) In case you hadn't guessed, I tend to stick to neutral pieces on holiday, but if you like a pop of colour then the fruit print on this Pink Fruit Print Frill Trim Midi Dress from New Look makes it a really fun option. Whether you're hitting up the all inclusive buffet or exploring the local bars, this on-sale dress has been described by one shopper on New Look's website as: "A lovely dress, it's stunning on." Whilst the leg slit may be annoying for some, I like that the dress has an elasticated rear waist for extra comfort.
