Lotto bosses confirm winning location of huge five-figure Telly Bingo win

Lotto bosses confirm winning location of huge five-figure Telly Bingo win

Roscommon's Telly Bingo players are on a winning streak, with another player celebrating a major win this week.
In Friday's draw, one player from the west struck gold by scooping the Snowball prize, worth an incredible €65,005.
The winning ticket, which landed the top prize by achieving a full house in 51 calls or less, was purchased at Tesco, Market Yard, Harrison Centre in Roscommon town.
This latest win follows closely on the heels of another Roscommon success just last week, when a player took home €50,005. That winning ticket was bought at Newsround, Barrack Street, Ballaghaderreen.
The Snowball prize in Telly Bingo is one of the game's most thrilling features. It starts at a set amount of €10,000 and increases with each draw until someone wins it by marking off all numbers on their bingo card within a specific number of calls. Players who achieve a Full House on or before the 45th call win an additional €10,000. If there is no winner, the Snowball number increases by one and €5,000 is added to the prize until it is won.
Emma Monaghan, National Lottery Spokesperson said: 'What a fantastic way to kickstart your weekend with a €65,005 win! Following last week's Roscommon win, the National Lottery topped up the Telly Bingo prize fund by €30,000, so players were in for an extra treat. A huge congratulations to our latest winner!'
The National Lottery Prize Claims team can confirm that the Roscommon player has already made contact and arrangements are underway for them to claim their prize.
Meanwhile, tonight's EuroMillions is packed with chances to win incredible prizes. Not only does the jackpot of an estimated €155 million remain up for grabs, but Irish players are in with a chance of winning an additional €250,000.
For the entirety of the month of May, EuroMillions players in Ireland will have the chance to win a massive €250,000 in all nine draws, as well as the existing prizes on offer.
Players dreaming of becoming Ireland's newest EuroMillions winner are reminded that tickets for tonight's draw can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or here ahead of the 7.30pm cut off.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language.
In total, more than €6.5 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2023 alone, €227.9 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.

Fast withdrawal casinos: Instant payout casino sites in Ireland (2025)

THERE are few things more frustrating for an online casino player than landing a big win, hitting withdraw, and then having to wait three to five days for the casino to approve it. Fortunately, in recent years, we have seen a significant increase in the number of fast withdrawal casinos hitting Irish shores. These are operators that do not mess around; they process your payments quickly and in some cases, instantly. In this guide to the best fast withdrawal casinos in Ireland, we examine the benefits of using one, some of the common myths surrounding them, the Top fast withdrawal casinos in Ireland 👉 How and why withdrawal speeds differ One of the first things players should understand when they see the phrase 'instant withdrawal' is that this does not necessarily mean that their money is going to appear in their bank account from their casino instantly. Instead, what it means is that the casino will process your request to withdraw your funds instantly. Essentially, they are allowing the money to leave the casino straight away. However, the speed at which it appears in your bank account will depend on the withdrawal method you are using. E-wallets, such as PayPal, Skrill, or Neteller, often live up to their end of the deal and process the payment instantly. However, withdrawal from your bank using a debit card may take longer, with some banks taking up to three business days to process and accept a payment. Players should also be aware that the casino may not always be able to process transactions instantly on their end. In most instances, this will be down to a lack of information in the player's account or some sort of technical fault with the operator. 💡 The role of KYC in processing withdrawals Understanding what Know Your Customer (KYC) is and how it works is essential for getting to grips with the registration and withdrawal processes at online casinos in Ireland. The KYC process involves operators checking a customer's identity and information to ensure they are who they say they are and to help protect them from any potential fraud or money laundering issues. Operators in Ireland are required to complete detailed Know Your Customer (KYC) checks. This includes verifying the player's identity, often using a government-approved form of identification, typically a passport or driver's license, and proof of address. This can be a recent utility bill or letter. Why is this important for withdrawal, you ask? Casinos must ensure that they are sending the funds to the correct person. While some players might find the process a little tedious, it is a necessary step taken by online casinos to ensure the safety and well-being of their players. In terms of withdrawals, a player's funds could get held up if they have not completed the required KYC checks. It is also not uncommon for an online casino to request more KYC documents when a customer is requesting the transfer of a significant sum of money. 🔎 A closer look at fast withdrawal casinos Using our Sun Factor review system, our team of online casino experts has determined the following are the ten 1. Our system is designed to evaluate an online casino across various categories, including safety and security, responsible gambling, bonuses and promotions, game selection, and more. Our team of online casino experts carefully reviews each casino, ranking them in each category and then compiling a final score. To create our lists, we compare and contrast all the casinos we have reviewed, focusing on their scores in the specific category the list relates to, which, in this instance, is payments and withdrawal speeds. READ MORE SUN STORIES ⚡ Fastest payment methods most commonly accepted at Irish casinos While there are some exceptions to the rule, most fast withdrawal online casinos tend to offer similar payment methods alongside their quick processing times. The following are the fastest payment methods you are likely to find at top Irish online casinos. PayPal In most instances, Additionally, the method is widely available, with almost all Irish online casinos featured in this guide offering it as a payment option. Apple Pay Apple Pay is one of the most popular payment methods you will find at Irish online casinos. Not only is it super quick at processing withdrawals, but it is also one of the most convenient methods on the market, allowing customers to make deposits and withdrawals with just a few clicks on their phones. As an iPhone user, this has become my go-to method for instant withdrawals, with the method processing payments much quicker than a traditional debit card. Google Pay Google Pay is Android's answer to Apple Pay, and despite the difference in platform, it provides all the same benefits when it comes to making quick and instant withdrawals. Unlike Apple Pay, it is actually much more widely available, with customers able to use it on Chrome on Apple devices. Skrill Skrill is another leading e-wallet that is widely available at Irish online casinos and supports instant and fast withdrawals. Like PayPal, it tends to process payments very quickly, with customer often having their funds back into their Skrill accounts in a matter of minutes. One of the biggest downsides of Skrill, unfortunately, is that it is often excluded from bonuses and promotions, which is something you should be aware of before using it for a first deposit. Neteller Neteller is another popular option for fast withdrawals. It is an increasingly popular e-wallet that is now widely available at top Irish online casinos. Like Skrill, it is often excluded from bonuses, so be sure to read through any terms & conditions at a casino before you attempt to use it. Trustly Trustly is one of the quickest methods available for transferring money directly to your bank account. Unlike all of the other methods on this list, you will not need to create an account or store your card details with Trustly. Instead, it acts as a third-party transfer service, allowing players to transfer funds from their casino to their bank directly. Like the other methods in this fast withdrawal casinos guide, it processes payments much quicker than traditional methods and is widely available at Irish online casinos. Cryptocurrencies Cryptocurrencies are available at several top online casinos in Ireland. These are one of the fastest ways of withdrawing funds from your online casino account, with cryptos appearing in your wallet nearly instantly. The downside of cryptos is their lack of availability compared to more traditional fiat banking methods. 🐌 Slow payment options at online casinos While it is not always the case, traditional banking methods tend to be slower at processing payments compared to e-wallets, digital cards, and cryptocurrencies. Debit and credit cards Traditional bank cards are the go-to method for most people's casino withdrawals, but in most instances, they are not as quick at processing payments as e-wallets and more modern methods. That is not to say that this is always the case, though, with the rise of services like Visa Instant now offering speedy withdrawals with debit cards. I would recommend reaching out to your bank or online casino to see if they provide this service. Bank transfers While there may be some flexibility with debit cards, you will have no such luck with bank transfers. While this is one of the safest and most secure ways to transfer funds to your bank, it is also one of the slowest, with the process sometimes taking up to five working days. Debunking some myths and misconceptions surrounding fast withdrawal casinos Players are naturally skeptical about fast withdrawals, after all, we have become accustomed to withdrawals taking a few days and operators taking their time to process them. However, things have changed, and fast and instant withdrawals are now extremely common at online casinos. Of course, this hasn't stopped some people from believing it is too good to be true, and some myths have gathered around them. Let's take a look at and bust some of the most common myths and misconceptions players have about using fast withdrawal online casinos. Fast payouts mean withdrawal fees: Many players believe that the privilege of having a quick withdrawal comes with some sort of fee. Fortunately, this is far from the case, as none of the casinos listed in this guide charge players a fee. We do, however, recommend checking to see if your chosen payment method has a fee for bank transfers. Casinos with faster payouts are less secure: This is one of the biggest misconceptions around when it comes to casinos with fast payouts. All the fast payout casinos we have recommended in this guide are licensed and regulated, ensuring a safe and secure online casino experience for their players. As I have already mentioned in this guide, the casinos also have robust KYC policies to ensure players are who they say they are and that their funds are not susceptible to money laundering or fraud. Only small transactions can be processed quickly: One of the most persistent myths around fast withdrawals is that they are capped more than traditional withdrawals. As you will see if you sign up for any of the casinos we have recommended in this guide, that is not the case. Casino withdrawals will vary depending on the payment method, but not on the speed of the withdrawal. Tips to ensure your withdrawals get approved speedily Ensuring your account is fully set up and verified, KYC checks completed, that your payment method hasn't expired, peak times can sometimes cause a bit of lag, etc. If you want to make the withdrawal process as smooth as possible, there are some preemptive measures you can take on your end before you begin the withdrawal process: Ensure your account is complete: In some instances, a payment may be withheld if your account is not fully set up. This can be easily avoided by checking that there are no blank fields or that no further verification checks are needed. KYC not complete: This is similar to the previous point. Before attempting a fast withdrawal, check with the operator to make sure that all your documents and information have been submitted and verified. This is one of the biggest reasons payments get slowed down, especially bigger ones. Check your payment details are correct: A mistake that is made much more often than you would expect is players not entering the right account details or using a card or service that has expired. If you want to make sure your money arrives promptly, double-check to ensure there are no obstacles on your end. Q&A about fast withdrawal casinos in Ireland 1. Why do many casinos have deposit and withdrawal limits? Online casinos have deposit and withdrawal limits in place to help control players' spending and for financial management. It also helps prevent them from being used for money laundering or other criminal activities. 2. How can I be sure to avoid hidden fees when making a withdrawal? It is crucial when you make a withdrawal at an online casino that you read through the site's terms & conditions beforehand. If you have any concerns, you should reach out to the casino's customer support team. 3. Why are e-wallets now the preferred payment method for many people? E-wallets provide a safe and convenient alternative to traditional payment methods like debit cards and bank transfers. One of the biggest reasons people choose to use these is that they do not need to share their bank details directly with an operator. They are also much more frequently featured by fast withdrawal casinos. 4. Why might my withdrawal be delayed from reaching my account? Withdrawals can be delayed for a number of reasons. One of the most common is that your account verification is not complete. If you have any concerns, reach out to your online casino, and they will provide you with information about the delay. 'Jacks of all trades' syndicate celebrate life-changing EuroMillions win

A Lotto syndicate made up of a crew of tradesmen have hammered home their biggest job yet after bagging a life-changing six-figure sum in a recent EuroMillions draw. The 11-strong crew of tradesmen travelled from corners of the east of the country to Lotto HQ in Dublin on Wednesday to collect their €255,000 prize, which they won in the special EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle being run throughout the month of May. The syndicate, made up of builders, plumbers, electricians, and engineers, were one of 10 winners of the Ireland Only Raffle in the EuroMillions draw on May 27. And while that prize is usually worth €5,000, the National Lottery added an additional prize of €250,000 for one winner of the Ireland-Only Raffle for all nine EuroMillions draws during the month of May. The group's winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased by head of the syndicate, Richard O'Brien, at Applegreen, on Newfoundwell Road in Greenbatter, Drogheda, Co Louth, on the day of the draw. That ticket held the all-important raffle number: I-SDL-14299. The syndicate has been playing together for five years and the group has stuck to a simple system: one group chat, one EuroMillions ticket each, three lines with the Plus, and everyone keeping an eye on every ticket. Shortly after the draw on May 27, one eagle-eyed member beat Richard to checking the tickets and sent a simple message to the group saying: "This is a winner!" Richard initially thought they'd bagged a modest €5,000. "Then one of the lads said, 'Check again, we've won a lot more than that. There's a special raffle on.' I thought he was pulling my leg… until I looked it up. That's when I saw we'd won an extra €250,000!" said Richard. "The phone was hopping with calls and texts for the rest of the night. It was madness but great excitement!" he added. The next morning, Richard contacted the National Lottery Claims team to confirm the win. That evening, the group met up to sign the back of the winning ticket and celebrated their win together. Since then, the 11-strong crew have been happily debating how to spend their handsome windfall. One of the syndicate members plans on buying a new couch for his partner, another is helping a family member save for a house, and the group chat is now full of holiday plans and chatter on sun destination.
