'Who's ready?': Aussie tennis star Nick Kyrgios shocks fans by announcing OnlyFans partnership following split from girlfriend

Sky News AUa day ago
Nick Kyrgios has shocked fans by announcing a new gig with Only Fans TV (OFTV) just months after splitting from his long-term girlfriend.
The 30-year-old Aussie tennis player has partnered with streaming platform OnlyFans TV to co-host a new reality series titled Smash City.
Joining adult film star Rachel Starr and TV personality Sophie Stonehouse, Kyrgios fronts the four-part show, which pits eight OnlyFans creators against each other in a series of high-stakes pickleball games for a $20,000 prize.
"Who's ready to smash?" OFTV captioned the promotional video for the series, which launched on June 13.
The former world number 13, who became a part-owner of the Major League Pickleball team Miami Pickleball Club last year, is no stranger to the platform, having signed up to OnlyFans in 2023.
"I enjoyed hosting it, and I love competition in general," Kyrgios told Complex in May.
"Pickleball for me is very close to tennis, so that instantly caught my interest."
As for his own account on the site, the Wimbledon finalist said he values being able to share more of his personal world without venturing into explicit territory.
"I think the perception of OnlyFans is slowly changing," he said.
"I'm able to share a lot more of my personal life. I always do a lot of tennis content, but there's also things that I do in the gym and in my everyday life.
"I'm able to give my fans what they want."
The career pivot comes just months after Kyrgios confirmed his split from his girlfriend of four years, influencer Costeen Hatzi, in April.
The pair had started dating in 2021 after meeting via Instagram when Hatzi was selling a mirror.
Following their breakup, the 25-year-old told the Daily Telegraph on April 8 that "life's been good".
"I'm still going on with work and I have a few different brands that I'm working with at the moment," Hatzi said.
"I'm grateful to have this life and hopefully keep on going."
Around the same time, Kyrgios also announced he would miss Wimbledon for the third consecutive year, due to ongoing injury issues.
He hasn't competed at the tournament since losing to Novak Djokovic in the 2022 final.
"Just wanted to give everyone a quick update- I've hit a small setback in my recovery and unfortunately won't make it back for grass season this year," he wrote on Instagram in June.
"This is just a bump in the road, though, and I'm already working hard to get back stronger than ever."
While sidelined from the court, Kyrgios has continued his commentary work, though this year he was snubbed by the BBC for Wimbledon coverage.
"It's unfortunate but it's probably their loss more than mine," he told The Guardian on June 21.
"When someone's beaten Federer, Nadal, Murray and Djokovic and has incredible insights, it's very strange you wouldn't want that person adding knowledge to tennis fans."
Instead, Kyrgios shifted focus to his own YouTube podcast 'Good Trouble with Nick Kyrgios', hosting a live show in London just days before the start of the tournament with Scottish broadcaster Gordon Smart.

‘Disrespectful': Storm erupts over ‘pathetic' Wimbledon question

Tennis fans have been left lost for words after British player Cameron Norrie was asked a question in his post-match press conference that has been described as 'incredibly disrespectful'. Norrie defeated Italy's Mattia Bellucci 7-6 6-4 6-3 in their third round match to progress to the round of 16 as the last local hope in the men's and women's singles draw. Britain's Jack Draper lost in the second round in four sets to Marin Cilic in a disappointing result for the fourth seed, while Emma Raducanu can hold her head high after giving World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka a scare in their third round match. Raducanu has been asked repeatedly about her love life after it was announced she was teaming up with Carlos Alcaraz to play mixed doubles at the US Open. The 22-year-old said they are 'just good friends', but that hasn't stopped speculation — Nick Kyrgios stirred the pot, joking about a 'love triangle' between Raducanu, Alcaraz and Draper. After making the fourth round at back-to-back grand slams, Norrie was asked in his post-match press conference if he was dating Raducanu. A reporter asked: 'Apart from everyone here loving the tennis, some of the gossip has been about who Emma Raducanu is dating. Can I ask if you're dating her? A puzzled Norrie replied: 'Sorry?' The reporter continued: 'I was wondering if you're dating her, please.' Norrie answered: 'I'm not, no. You can ask her (about her dating life). I don't know.' The line of questioning didn't go down well with tennis fans, who couldn't believe Norrie was subjected to that at his press conference. Tennis reporter Ben Rothenberg wrote on X: 'Even for British tabloids at Wimbledon, this is a yiiiiiiiikes.' The Tennis Letter account said: 'Cam Norrie being asked about Emma Raducanu's dating life in his Wimbledon press conference is a new all time low:' Tennis blogger Pavvy G posted: Wholly inappropriate and incredibly disrespectful and distasteful to Emma Raducanu and Cam Norrie.' One fan said: 'So cringe it's insane.' Another commented: 'It's pathetic. Tennis journalism at its worst. Completely disrespectful towards Norrie.' Speaking on TalkSPORT ahead of Wimbledon, Kyrgios said lightheartedly: 'I don't know, I think it's a love triangle. 'Draper, Alcaraz, Raducanu. They're fighting over Raducanu I think, I'm not sure.' He went on to praise all three players, who look set to make a deep run at Wimbledon. 'I think (on) the outside (she looks happy), I don't know who's making her happy,' Kyrgios said. 'The tennis world loves a love story, they love to try and put two together but Raducanu is number one British female player at the moment, she's doing fairly well. 'Obviously, winning a grand slam at 19 is never easy, it comes with a lot of expectations from the outside world. But, you know, as long as she's happy.' Elsewhere in third round action, Australia's Jordan Thompson defeated Italy's Luciano Darderi 6-4 6-4 3-6 6-3 to reach the round of 16, his best ever result at Wimbledon. Carlos Alcaraz needed four sets to beat Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff as he aims to defend his Wimbledon title and win a sixth grand slam. Australia's Alex de Minaur and Daria Kasatkina play their third round matches on Saturday evening (AEST).

Meghan Markle's Fourth of July ‘easy entertaining' post goes up in smoke

Meghan Markle rolled out the red, white and blueberry on the Fourth of July, sharing a clip of herself assembling a charcuterie board — but her bid at 'easy entertaining' left viewers anything but entertained. In a video posted to her As Ever Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex styled a wooden platter with fruit, star-shaped cheese, crackers, and a ramekin of her famously sold-out $14 ($A21.35) raspberry spread. Dressed in a summery striped shirt and filmed in what looked like her Montecito kitchen, Meghan smiled, styled, and even giggled as she dropped a rogue raspberry into the mix. It was a slice of domestic goddess realness — or at least, that was the goal. Instead, some viewers likened the presentation to a 2014 Pinterest post. 'Bless her heart for thinking this is new,' one Reddit critic wrote. Others called the faux calligraphy 'eye-roll inducing' and accused the Duchess of not-so-subtly product placing her jewellery into frame. The video also popped up on her personal Instagram account just minutes later, featuring an aerial shot of the same board. But while the jam sold out in 30 minutes back in April, not everyone who tasted it thought it was worth the hype. Daily Mail previously revealed the spread — or 'preserve,' as Meghan insists on calling it — is made by The Republic of Tea, which also supplies her brand's honey and tea bags. Their HQ is in California, but the jam's actually made in a factory in Illinois. Reviewers described the spread as overly sweet, 'surprisingly runny,' and more 'raspberry dessert sauce' than toast topper. Meghan's explanation? Jam is technically equal parts sugar and fruit — and she wanted hers to taste more like the fruit. The result, critics say, missed the mark. 'It dripped off the spoon like a sauce,' one reviewer noted. 'You'd be forgiven for thinking it melted in transit.' Compared to household staples like Bonne Maman, Meghan's jam couldn't hold its shape — or a spoon. Out of five stars? Two, generously. In a May podcast appearance, Meghan acknowledged the drop-it-and-it's-gone launch may have frustrated customers. She likened the strategy to a sneaker drop but admitted: 'I don't want you to eat that jam once every six months. I want that to be on your shelf all the time.'
