The very first customer example of the Cadillac Celestiq has landed, and the car's goal is simple: dethrone the Rolls-Royce Spectre as the world's finest electric luxo-barge.
Prices start at $340,000 for a base-spec, which has a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain putting out 655bhp and 646lb ft. 0-60mph is cited at 3.7s, with just over 300 miles of range drawn from its 111kWh battery.

There's lots of supplementary tech too bundled in, including active air suspension, rear-wheel steering and body roll control, all tasked with making the Celestiq a worthy challenger.
A challenger wearing a body made from carbon fibre and peppered with lots of funky traits: thin light signatures, active grille shutters, much glass and a unique silhouette that sits somewhere between a saloon, fastback and shooting brake. Heavy silhouette, mind: this thing weighs 3.1 tonnes.
But the cabin is where the really very big coachbuilt Caddy earns its paper. It's like a first-class lounge, with four massage seats covered in lavish fabrics, a single piece 55in mega screen and a panoramic roof with individually dimmable areas.
The price will then inflate depending on just how many boxes you tick on the options list, ranging from etchings on the 3D-printed parts, to the use of crystal glass and woven carbon fibre materials. You get the gist.

Invesco files for Solana ETF to tap growing demand for bitcoin alternatives
June 25 (Reuters) - Invesco (IVZ.N), opens new tab has filed for an exchange-traded fund tied to the spot price of Solana , according to a regulatory filing on Wednesday, as asset managers push to tap opportunities beyond bitcoin . The crypto industry has surged on a wave of optimism over the past year, helped by the Securities and Exchange Commission's approval of spot bitcoin ETFs and hopes of friendlier regulation under President Donald Trump. But while bitcoin goes mainstream, companies are now seeking to capitalize on the surging popularity of altcoins — which include all cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin — as investors hunt for the next breakout opportunity. VanEck and Bitwise are among other asset managers that have filed for Solana ETFs. The SEC could give the green light to a group of Solana ETFs by the end of July at the earliest, according to people familiar with the matter. A slew of companies seeking to launch Solana ETFs amended their filings with the SEC earlier this month to address the regulator's queries, Reuters reported. Solana is the sixth biggest crypto token by market value, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Other major altcoins include Ripple's XRP and Binance's BNB. The Invesco Galaxy Solana ETF will be listed on the Cboe BZX exchange under the symbol "QSOL". BNY (BK.N), opens new tab will be the administrator and cash custodian, while Coinbase (COIN.O), opens new tab will hold all of the ETF's Solana, the filing showed. The fees that Invesco plans to charge for the ETF were not disclosed.

Trump-backed crypto firm is planning stablecoin audit, new app
June 25 (Reuters) - Zak Folkman, the co-founder of U.S. President Donald Trump's cryptocurrency platform World Liberty Financial, said on Wednesday that the company will issue an audit of its stablecoin "within days" and that it planned a new app. Folkman also hinted that WLF's governance token, known as WLFI, could soon become tradable in an interview at the Permissionless conference on Wednesday, organized by crypto media company Blockworks in Brooklyn, New York. WLFI, which was launched two months before the U.S. presidential election in November by Trump and his business partners, has yielded hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for the Republican president's family business. The business, along with other forays into crypto, has drawn a barrage of criticism from Democratic lawmakers, as well as government ethics watchdogs. Critics say it creates conflicts of interest as it is happening at the same time as the president is pulling back enforcement and easing regulations on the industry. The Trump Organization said in January that the president's investments, assets and business interests would be held in a trust managed by his children. The White House and the Trump Organization did not immediately respond to requests for comment. World Liberty has raised the money by selling so-called governance tokens, which give holders the right to vote on changes to the project's underlying code and to signal their opinion on its direction and plans. They cannot be traded. During the interview on Wednesday, when Blockworks co-founder Jason Yanowitz asked whether the token would become tradable, Folkman said, "I don't want to give away too much, but if you pay attention over the next couple of weeks, I think everyone ... is going to be very, very happy." Folkman said WLF would also be launching an app that would make crypto seamless for everyday investors to use. He said the company's stablecoin recently just got its first attestation report from an accounting firm and that it would be posted on its website "within the next few days." "We're going to have very transparent auditing from a financial level," he said.

Bumble to lay off 30% of global workforce as dating apps struggle
June 25 (Reuters) - Bumble (BMBL.O), opens new tab said on Wednesday it would lay off nearly a third of its workforce, the latest cuts in a dating app industry striving to develop features that will keep users spending amid economic uncertainty. The company also raised its second-quarter revenue forecast, as a broader effort to revamp the platform starts to take hold. Sign up here. The job cuts will affect 240 roles, or 30% of Bumble's staff. Rival Match (MTCH.O), opens new tab also announced a 13% workforce reduction last month. Bumble shares rose 19% on the news, but their market value has shrunk by about a fifth this year to a little over $500 million. Its peak was around $15 billion, when the company went public in 2021, LSEG data shows. The "layoffs reflect Bumble's new strategy of optimizing for user experience rather than revenue or user growth in the short term", and underscores new CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd's desire for a more agile startup structure, said M Science analyst Chandler Willison. Online dating firms have struggled in recent years to retain audiences, especially Gen Z users, leading to management overhauls at Match and Bumble as well as pressure from activist investors. Bumble's Herd returned as CEO earlier this year with the promise of boosting the company's performance by focusing on match-making quality. The company raised its second-quarter revenue forecast to a range of $244 million to $249 million, up from the prior view of $235 million to $243 million. It had also met Wall Street expectations for first-quarter revenue in May, even as it posted a 7% decline. Bumble said it will incur about $13 million to $18 million in layoff-related charges, primarily in the third and fourth quarters of 2025. It expects to save about $40 million of annual costs, which it plans to reinvest in initiatives such as product and technology development.
