Razer's Clio is a $230 surround sound head cushion
The Clio speaker wirelessly connects to Bluetooth-compatible devices like smartphones, tablets, and handheld consoles, but is also compatible with Razer's HyperSpeed Wireless protocol for a low-latency connection to a gaming PC. Support for THX Spatial Audio creates a more immersive listening experience when using the Clio on its own, but it can be paired with additional desktop speakers and used as a dedicated rear channel as part of a larger 7.1 surround sound setup.
The Razer Basilisk Mobile mouse weighs in at 76 grams and 'boasts a compact, ergonomic design' designed to slip into pockets or squeeze into a laptop sleeve along with a computer. It supports wired, Bluetooth, or a low-latency Razer HyperSpeed Wireless connection to PCs with up to 105 hours of battery life with the latter, or up to 150 hours with Bluetooth.
The mouse includes a four-way tilting scroll wheel with two scrolling modes: free-spin for more speed or tactile cycling for more precision. There's a Razer Focus X optical sensor with up to 18,000dpi of sensitivity on the underside, while the mouse's primary buttons use Razer's Gen-3 optical switches boasting a 90 million click lifecycle. The Razer Joro ultra-portable wireless gaming keyboard uses a compact 75 percent layout and measures in at 16.5-millimeters thick and 374 grams in weight. As with most Razer products, it features RGB lighting that can be animated with various effects while still offering an impressive battery life of up to 1,800 hours when using its power saving mode.
The Joro connects to devices with a USB-C cable or over Bluetooth and is not only compatible with both Windows and Apple devices including iPadOS and iOS, it also features secondary keys with macOS labels and a dedicated Microsoft Copilot Key. Laser-etched ABS keycaps help ensure longevity, and in addition to the keyboard being customizable, it can also store up to five different profiles locally, and switch between them as needed.

Michigan lawmakers want Apple to reconsider closing Clinton Township store
A group of Michigan lawmakers is calling on Apple to reconsider its decision to close its store at the Partridge Creek Mall in Clinton Township. In a bipartisan effort, 16 state representatives and senators signed and sent a letter to the tech giant on Thursday, pointing to the store becoming one of the first tenants at the mall in 2007. "Over the last 15 years, Macomb County has experienced one of the most sustained population growths in the state. From 841,350 residents in 2010 to more than 875,000 today, the region is one of the few locations in Michigan- and the midwest- that are actively growing," read the letter. CBS News Detroit reached out to Apple for comment and is waiting to hear back. The tech giant announced last month that it will close the store in August. In a note on its website, the company said, "Thank you, Partridge Creek. Apple Partridge Creek is closing on August 16 at 7pm. We're still here for you." Meanwhile, Apple is preparing to open a store in downtown Detroit. The company has other stores in Ann Arbor, Novi, Troy, Lansing and Grand Rapids. Rep. Joseph Aragona (R-Clinton Township), who was one of the lawmakers to sign the letter, said he is puzzled that the Partridge Creek store is closing. "If they were moving to a completely different model where they said, 'Alright, we're going to shut all doors down and we're going to e-commerce,' maybe I could even better understand that," Aragona said. Customers at the mall told CBS News Detroit that the main reason they go to the shopping center is because of the tech store. "I don't know how the mall will survive without the Apple store," said Saief Shaya. "I do carry an Apple phone and this is the closest Apple store to me, so I'm sure in the future I'll be cursing the fact it's closing," said Pat Grant. Last year, officials announced major changes were coming to Partridge Creek after the closure of Lakeside Mall. Some changes included Dick's Sporting Goods taking over the old Nordstrom location on the west end of the mall. It will be the third Dick's store on Hall Road. Additionally, Powerhouse Gym is also moving into the mall.

How do you fancy orange? iPhone 17 Pro rumored color could be a real eye-opener

Claimed iPhone 17 dummy units tip a punchy orange color for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max The iPhone 17 Air is tipped to have a nice sand-colored option, alongside blue, back, and white options The standard iPhone 17 is expected to sport black, white, light blue, and pastel pink color options Dummy units of the rumored iPhone 17 range have given us a good idea of what colors to expect from Apple's next-generation phones, and if they come to fruition, could see the iPhone Pro lineup get a dose of punchy color. This comes from Apple-centric tipster Sony Dickson, who posted a selection of iPhone 17 dummy units in a mix of colors, which we're led to believe come from insider information. While the iPhone 17 features a fetching pink pastel-like hue, and the rumored iPhone 17 Air comes in a pleasant sand-ish color, the standout is an iPhone 17 Pro dummy unit in a bright orange hue. If this information turns out to be accurate it could mark a mild direction change for Apple, in that previously the Pro iPhones have tended to use somewhat muted colors: the Desert Titanium model of the iPhone 16 Pro Max was probably about as bold as the flagship phones go, with the rest of the iPhone 16 Pro lineup leaning on more basic shades such as white, black, and grey. So the addition of orange could give the iPhone Pro a shot in the arm when it comes to punchy colors. From the dummy units, the orange has a candy-like hue with a form of pastel flatness to it; the latter would be in keeping with the style of recent Pro iPhones. Complementary colors With the caveat that these images are far from official and there's no clear indication of where these dummy units have come from, I feel the colors on offer across the proposed iPhone 17 range work nicely. They have the usual black and white options to appease people who like muted phones, with a dark blue shade potentially making a comeback for the iPhone 17 Pro models. The light blue and pink options for the iPhone 17 offer a pop of freshness without being too oversaturated. While the light blue and light yellow/sand colors for the iPhone 17 Air look like they could work nicely on a slimmed-down iPhone. For the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, I reckon the tipped colors work well for the new rectangular rear camera array; sort of emphasising it, yet also helping it blend into the rear of the phone at the same time... if that makes a jot of sense. Of course, I'm still not entirely convinced this much-rumored camera design change will happen, as I can't see how it would benefit the iPhone 17 Pro's camera performance; Apple tends not to just change its phone designs for pure aesthetics alone. Unless adopting this rectangular camera array is a means to better package components, and thus leading to a slimmer iPhone Pro. But this is just educated speculation on my side. With Apple very likely to launch new iPhones in September, when it usually holds a phone-centric Apple event, we really don't have much longer to wait before we hear about new iPhones. iPhone 17 Pro leak appears to show secret flagship in the wild, but I'm not convinced about one detail

Leaked images seemingly gives us a real-world glimpse of the iPhone 17 Pro The images suggest a new camera array that fits with our prior expectations Leading Apple analyst Mark Gurman has suggested the images seem legitimate The launch of the iPhone 17 series hasn't been confirmed yet, but with Apple usually revealing its flagship phone lineup in September of each year, the next generation of iPhones is probably just over the horizon. It looks like Apple is preparing its next flagships for the wider world with some on-the-ground testing, or so some new images shared by an online tipster would suggest. Images shared to X (formerly Twitter) by user Fox Pupy apparently show a person using the iPhone 17 Pro on the street. The images show the person holding two phones, one of which appears to be an iPhone 16 Pro and the other resembling the rumored design of the iPhone 17 Pro. As we've previously reported, the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to launch with a new design that incorporates a Google Pixel-style camera bar. We previously thought this to be an aesthetic choice, but more recent rumors of a new 8x telephoto camera could imply the new camera bar creates room for a new lens. Anyhow, the iPhone 17 Pro in these new images appears to be in a case, which obscures whether the new phone has a camera bar. The main reason we're confident this isn't the current-gen iPhone 16 Pro is the position of the phone's flash and LiDAR sensor on the right side of the rear panel – the current-gen model has everything contained in the square housing on the left. Though Fox Pupy isn't a name we know, and doesn't usually post about tech rumors, the images have been reposted by prominent Apple analyst Mark Gurman. In the repost, Gurman simply wrote: 'Wow. This looks legit.' Gurman is widely considered a leading voice on the Apple rumor circuit, so a co-sign like this gives the images a lot of weight. A new Camera Control button? There is one more thing to notice for the pixel peepers among us – as 9to5Mac reports, there have been some suggestions that the images show a new or second Camera Control surface on the top-edge of the phone. To some, the case on the phone may appear to have a notch or gap along the top-side, which could be used by the left hand in landscape mode, while the existing Camera Control is used by the right. To me, it looks like reflected sunlight. Personally, I'd be pretty surprised if this was the a new button. That doesn't seem like a particularly ergonomic place for a touch-sensitive button, especially on the iPhone 17 Pro Max (which is expected to have a 6.9-inch display). Still, Apple is no stranger to the occasional odd iPhone feature – remember 3D touch? Though we'd expect the iPhone 17 Pro to launch as one of the best iPhones – and one of the best phones overall – Apple has yet to announce its next flagships.
