MANCHESTER UNITED could use Rasmus Hojlund as part of a blockbuster deal to land Benjamin Sesko, according to reports.
Yesterday, it emerged that the RB Leipzig ace was United's top target to reinforce their front line going forward, with Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins also under consideration.

But Ruben Amorim said he was unsure of Hojlund's future with reports saying he could be swapped with Sesko

However, the current main man up top for the Red Devils came out fighting during their emphatic 4-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League Summer Series on Thursday.
Hojlund opened the scoring with a glanced finish from a Patrick Dorgu cross before his presence was instrumental as Amad Diallo scored the third, with the Dane claiming he got a nick on it as it sailed through a crowd.
It was a timely reminder of what he can do in a United shirt and while manager Ruben Amorim was impressed with his overall game, his comments indicated the striker's future was uncertain.
Amorim told reporters: "I am really happy with Rasmus, but I don't know what is going to happen until the end of the market.

'The important thing is that the strikers that are here are working really well, are improving, are helping the team and that is the most important thing."
And according to The Athletic, the 22-year-old could be put on the table as part of a swap deal to bring Sesko, four months his junior, to Old Trafford.
The report says Hojlund, who has already expressed a desire to stay at United this summer, is not directly up for sale.
However, having both Hojlund and the Slovenian - estimated to fetch at least £65million in any transfer - together in the squad is not a realistic option.

Interest in Hojlund has been on and off this window, but funnily enough the German outfit are one of the clubs that have retained an interest in the former Atalanta ace, along with Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle.
And that interest has raised the prospect of a cash-plus-player swap deal between the clubs.
Amorim refuses to guarantee Hojlund Man Utd future amid Sesko transfer push
The report adds United acknowledge they may need to take a loss on Hojlund's book value - which stands at £45m - to sell given his dramatic dip in valuation since his £72m switch to the Premier League in 2023.
It stands to reason that a swap deal would lower the cash the Old Trafford outfit pay to Leipzig for Sesko, though the expected sales of bomb squad stars like Alejandro Garnacho and Antony could yet raise the funds to buy him outright.
Sesko, a target for Arsenal before they landed Sporting Lisbon ace Viktor Gyokeres, scored 13 league goals for Leipzig last season.
SunSport looked in-depth at the numbers behind Sesko since he joined his current club in 2023.
In 64 league games, the towering 6ft 5" talisman has shown his cutting edge by scoring 27 goals from an Expected Goals value of just 17.6 and a 23.5 per cent shot conversion rate.

Chelsea suffer setback in bid to seal latest transfer as talks hit stalemate
Enzo Maresca's Chelsea have been busy in the transfer market with more than £200million worth of new signings arriving but they may still have some work left to do Chelsea's hopes of landing Xavi Simons have been dented by RB Leipzig's lack of appetite for a swap deal, it has been claimed. Dutch star Simons has long been linked with a Premier League switch - with some of Chelsea's rivals previously exploring a deal - and Leipzig's failure to qualify for Europe could finally see him leave. Enzo Maresca's Blues have already had a busy window after returning to the Champions League. Estevao Willian has finally completed his move from Palmeiras, while Liam Delap and Joao Pedro have arrived to bolster the attack. Chelsea are understood to have offered four players to the German club as part of a deal for Simons. One of those is Christopher Nkunku, who starred in Leipzig before his injury-hit spell in West London. Other reported options include Tyrique George, Armando Broja and Carney Chukwuemeka. However, according to The Sun, none of them are of interest to Ole Werner's side. Simons, 22, spent time with PSV Eindhoven and Paris Saint-Germain before joining Leipzig - first on loan and then permanently. He finished last season with 10 goals and seven assists in the Bundesliga, but his club narrowly missed out on a European spot after finishing seventh. It has been another summer of upheaval already at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have spent more than £200m on new players, with Jamie Gittens another big-money Bundesliga star to arrive after completing his move from Borussia Dortmund, while they have also recouped nine figures through sales. Noni Madueke's £48m move to Arsenal was among the highest-profile of the departures, with Joao Felix and Djordje Petrovic also fetching substantial fees. Beyond that, Maresca's side have sold or loaned a number of players to Strasbourg, with Kendry Paez completing a season-long loan on Thursday. There could be further arrivals even if Simons stays put. Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has been linked amid uncertainty over his future, though early signs suggest he will spend one more season in France. The Blues go into the new season off the back of success at the Club World Cup. Their victory over PSG in the final brought a healthy financial windfall, and they will return to action with a pair of friendlies before the start of the new season. Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan are both headed to Stamford Bridge for pre-season action next weekend, with Chelsea playing Leverkusen on the Friday and Milan on the Sunday. After that comes the start of the new Premier League season, with Maresca's team kicking off at home to Crystal Palace on August 17.
