The luxury e-commerce landscape is about to undergo its most thrilling transformation yet. Mytheresa has officially secured the final regulatory approval to acquire Yoox Net-A-Porter from Richemont. This sets the stage for a seismic shift in how the world shops for high fashion.
Slated to close on 23 April 2025, this deal will unite Mytheresa, NET-A-PORTER, MR PORTER, YOOX, and THE OUTNET under one powerhouse entity – the LuxExperience. No longer just a transaction, this is the birth of a global luxury titan – curated, connecuaeted, and unstoppable.

In this bold new chapter, Mytheresa, NET-A-PORTER, and MR PORTER will preserve their distinctive brand DNA, each maintaining its curated point of view and loyal clientele, while leveraging shared back-end infrastructure for smarter scalability.
Meanwhile, the off-price players (YOOX and THE OUTNET) will operate as a fully separate division, creating cleaner brand architecture. It will also curate a more focused, efficient business model across both luxury and value segments. How will this changing the online shopping game?
For the discerning Emirates woman, this means unparalleled access to the most coveted labels, sharper curation, and an elevated digital shopping experience. Michael Kliger, Mytheresa's CEO, calls it a 'game-changer,' promising multiple distinguished storefronts under one umbrella, each retaining its unique identity while leveraging shared infrastructure.
Imagine the best of Mytheresa's sharp edit, NET-A-PORTER's runway-ready selections, and MR PORTER's menswear mastery, all with the operational precision that luxury shoppers demand.
Financially, the ambition is as grand as the vision. Mytheresa's CFO, Martin Beer, projects €3 billion (over Dhs12 billion) in annual sales, scaling to €4 billion (over Dhs 16 billion) with industry-leading profitability.

For the Emirates' fashion-forward elite, the future of luxury is no longer on the horizon, it's at their fingertips. – For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and Instagram

Huda Kattan reclaims full ownership of her namesake brand Huda Beauty

Huda Kattan has reclaimed complete ownership of her renowned namesake brand, Huda Beauty, after an eight-year partnership with TSG Consumer. Kattan's brand was initially founded in 2013, built after the success of her beauty blog and her reputation as a makeup artist, with a $6,000 (Dhs22,037) loan from her sister, Alya Kattan, starting with a range of viral eyelashes. From there, Huda Beauty has remained a household name in the beauty space, launching products that blend artistry and innovation, such as the bestselling Easy Bake Loose Baking and Setting Powder and #FAUXFILTER Color Corrector, which has truly changed the game and launched a beauty movement rooted in self-expression, empowerment, and authenticity. View this post on Instagram A post shared by HUDA BEAUTY (@hudabeauty) Prior to regaining full ownership, TSG Consumer acquired a minority stake of the company in 2017. Now, in 2025, Huda Kattan, founder and Co-CEO of Huda Beauty, has officially bought back her equity. With this move, Huda Beauty is now a fully independent business and marks a powerful new chapter for the brand. The decision to reclaim full ownership allows Huda Kattan, now at the helm as the sole owner, to have complete control over her brand's direction, future product launches, and a deeper community engagement along with her husband, Christopher Goncalo, who's serving alongside her as Co-CEO, and her sister, Alya Kattan, leading the social strategy. 'Taking back full ownership of Huda Beauty is a deeply very important moment for me,' said Huda Kattan. 'It says that while many of us dreamers have visions that we are told are too big or not possible to do alone, in actuality, you have all the power you need to change the world yourself! This brand was built on passion, creativity, and a desire to challenge the beauty industry. As we step into this new chapter, I'm more committed than ever to pushing boundaries, staying true to our roots, and showing up for our incredible community every step of the way.' – For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and Instagram Images: Supplied
