Never Drink Cold Coffee Again With $60 Off This Ember Smart Mug 2
Whether you're someone who likes to use a high-end coffee maker or you're just happy to drink anything so long as it has caffeine in it, we can all agree that cold coffee sucks -- unless it's supposed to be cold, of course. Sure, you can drink your coffee as quickly as possible but that just means you'll need to make another even sooner. If you're someone who likes to sip their drinks rather than gulp them you'll love the Ember Smart Mug 2. At $150 it's a hard sell just to keep your drink warm, but right now this smart mug is currently a tasty $60 off right now on Amazon, making it just $90. Best Buy is also offering the same $90 price, too. Just be aware that the price fluctuates based on the color variant you choose.
Even at today's discounted price, the Ember Smart Mug 2 is certainly a bit of a splurge, but it may be worth it if you (or a lucky giftee) are particular about your morning pick-me-up. It's equipped with a built-in heating element that keeps your coffee or tea at the perfect drinking temperature. You can even fine-tune it according to your preferences and set it to any temperature between 120 and 145 degrees Fahrenheit by using the Ember companion app for Android or iPhone.
Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.
The Ember Mug 2 can keep your coffee warm for up to 80 minutes, which is more than long enough, and this model has a 10-ounce capacity, as well. It's safe to hand-wash and waterproof up to 1 meter, but not safe for the dishwasher or microwave. It also comes with a matching coaster that charges the mug wirelessly for all-day battery life to keep your coffee at the perfect temperature at your desk.
Best Buy's sale on this nifty mug is set to end tonight, and we anticipate the deal at Amazon may also follow suit, so it's best to get your order in soon if you want to lock in this price.

Trump says he's terminating trade talks with Canada over tax on technology firms
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said he's immediately suspending trade talks with Canada over its plans to continue with its tax on technology firms. Trump said Friday in a post on his social media network Canada had just informed the U.S. that it was sticking to its plan to impose the tax set to take effect Monday. Canada's digital services tax requires Canadian and foreign businesses that engage with online users in Canada. The digital services tax will hit companies like Amazon, Google, Meta, Uber and Airbnb with a 3% levy on revenue from Canadian users. It will apply retroactively, leaving U.S. companies with a $2 billion US bill due at the end of the month. Michelle L. Price, The Associated Press
