Oreo drops new limited edition cookie featuring two different flavors in one

Oreo just announced plans for a brand-new flavor combination in collaboration with pop star Post Malone.
The sweet treat conglomerate has partnered with the Grammy-nominated musician to release a 'first-of-its-kind' creamy, salted caramel and shortbread swirl filling spread between chocolate and golden cookies.
According to a press release, each cookie top will feature one of nine unique designs inspired and picked by the 'Congratulations' artist including guitar picks and vinyl records.
'Can't believe they let me make my own OREO cookie. So happy everyone gets to try the taste twist — hope you love it as much as I do, 'cause I think it's the best OREO ever,' Post Malone said. 'It's the first time OREO has ever twisted the creme of the cookie and they named it after me.'
This isn't the first time a vocal icon has been called in to create a personalized Oreo. Five years ago, the Mondelēz-owned cookie brand teamed up with Lady Gaga, releasing a Chromatica treat consisting of pink golden cookie tops with a monster green creme middle.
'Flavor innovations and collaborations, inspired by fan behavior, have become a mainstay in our playbook as a way to maintain relevancy across our portfolio of snack brands,' Tanya Berman, Mondelēz's senior vice president, said in the press release.
Customers can get a taste of the Post Malone Oreo starting February 3.

In late December 2024, Dunkin' Donuts announced a collaboration with 'Espresso' singer Sabrina Carpenter, adding 'Sabrina's Brown Sugar Shakin' Espresso' to its menu nationwide.
The iced beverage blends an espresso shot with brown sugar and the customer's choice of milk, though the 'Juno' singer did recommend adding oat milk.
'The result is a deliciously frothy, subtly sweet sip ready to kick off 2025 in style,' the Dunkin' Donuts press release read. One TikTok-famous Grandma couldn't agree more.
On January 3, Carol Chapman, a viral 81-year-old content creator, drove to the coffee franchise to order Carpenter's drink knowing little to nothing about the performer.
'It's quite strong coffee, but I am a coffee drinker, so it's OK, and it is creamy — she's right,' she said, swallowing a sip in her review. 'Her name is Sabrina Carpenter, and I will read about her when I go back home, but at least I know now that this drink was named for her.'

ESPN, Fox to bundle upcoming streaming services for $39.99 a month

Disney's ESPN and Fox Corp. are teaming up to offer their upcoming direct-to-consumer streaming services as a bundle, the companies said Monday. The move comes as media companies look to nab more consumers for their streaming alternatives, and draw them in with sports, in particular. Last week, both companies announced additional details about the new streaming options. ESPN's streaming service — which has the same name as the TV network — and Fox's Fox One will each launch on Aug. 21, ahead of the college football and NFL seasons. The bundled apps, however, will be available beginning Oct. 2 for $39.99 per month. Separately, ESPN and Fox One will cost $29.99 and $19.99 a month, respectively. While the bundle will offer sports fans a bigger offering at a discounted rate, the streaming services are not exactly the same. ESPN's flagship service will be an all-in-one app that includes all of its live sports and programming from its TV networks, including ESPN2 and the SEC Network, as well as ESPN on Disney-owned ABC. The app will also have fantasy products, new betting tie-ins, studio programming and documentaries. ESPN will also offer its app as a bundle with Disney's other streaming services, Disney+ and Hulu, for $35.99 a month. That Disney bundle will cost a discounted $29.99 a month for the first 12 months — the same price as the stand-alone app. Last week, ESPN further beefed up the content on its streaming app when it inked a deal with the WWE for the U.S. rights to the wrestling league's biggest live events, including WrestleMania, the Royal Rumble and SummerSlam, beginning in 2026. The sports media giant also reached an agreement with the NFL that will see ESPN acquire the NFL Network and other media assets from the league. The Fox One service, however, will be a bit different. Fox had been on the sidelines of direct-to-consumer streaming for years after its competitors launched their platforms. Just this year, it said it would offer all of its content — including news and entertainment — from its broadcast and pay TV networks in a streaming offering. Fox One won't have any exclusive or original content. Fox's move into the direct-to-consumer streaming game — outside of its Fox Nation app and the free, ad-supported streamer Tubi — came after it abandoned its efforts to launch Venu, a joint sports streaming venture with Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery. Both Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch and Disney CEO Bob Iger said during separate earnings calls last week that they were exploring bundling options with other services. Since Fox announced the Fox One app, Murdoch has said the company would lean into bundles with other streaming services. 'Announcing ESPN as our first bundle partner is evidence of our desire to deliver the best possible value and viewing experience to our shared customers,' said Tony Billetter, SVP of strategy and business development for FOX's direct to consumer segment, in a release on Monday.

Kelly Clarkson tears up performing 'Piece by Piece' with lyric change 12 days before Brandon Blackstock's death

Blackstock died Aug. 7 from cancer. Kelly Clarkson performed an emotionally charged rendition of "Piece by Piece" not long before the death of Brandon Blackstock, her ex-husband and father of her two children. Blackstock, a former talent manager, died Aug. 7 at 48 following a three-year battle with cancer. Clarkson kept the family matter private, but a resurfaced clip from the July 26 show of the Grammy winner's now-postponed Las Vegas residency appears to allude to the tolls of the diagnosis. Clarkson broke down in tears before a performance of "Piece by Piece," the 2015 ballad about Blackstock released two years into their marriage. The song reads as a letter to her estranged father and dives into how Blackstock "restored [her] faith" that "a man can be kind and a father could stay," per the original lyrics. 'I've never rewritten a song more and I probably never will,' Clarkson told the audience before the latest rendition. 'I wrote this song with a lot of hope and projection for happiness and better than what was happening. And then, well, life set in, and I had to change the lyrics. Everybody was like, 'Wait, why aren't you singing this song?' And I was like, 'Have you heard the lyrics?'" Clarkson first changed the lyrics in 2023, a year after her divorce from Blackstock was finalized. "We did it one time, I did a residency here, and then I was like, 'You know what, that sounded a little angry,'" she relationship with the lyrics and its many iterations, Clarkson explained, has since changed. "I just wanted to explain how it feels now. I'm 43. I've done some therapy, and I changed the lyrics now and I think it's perfect. I promise I'm not gonna change it again. Screw it, let's just sing it." Clarkson separated from Blackstock in 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage. The most updated version of the ballad features the new addition: 'I'm learning every day how to love me / I let go of the shame that you taught me / piece by piece I restored the faith / that a heart can still beat even if it breaks.' The singer-songwriter postponed the remainder of her Vegas residency last week, sharing in a statement on Aug. 6 that Blackstock had been ill and that she needed to be present for their children, daughter River Rose, 11, and son Remington Alexander, 9. The dates were moved to late July 2026. "I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows, and I so appreciate your grace, kindness, and understanding,' Clarkson said. Featured pricing is subject to change. Chance The Rapper isn't leaving the possibility that audiences miss the release of his new album to chance this year. The three-time Grammy winner announced he's striking out on his 'And We Back Tour' in support of the forthcoming 'Star Line,' which is due out Friday, Aug. 15. While out and about, the 'Holy' Hip-Hop icon is slated to perform at theaters, music centers, rooftops, pavilions, auditoriums and resorts all over North America from late September through mid-October. That includes a stop at New York City's Rooftop at Pier 17 on Thursday, Oct. 2. 'How about a quick tour for my closest fans?' he shared on Instagram. Surprisingly, this run is the 32-year-old's first official nationwide trek since 2017's 'Be Encouraged Tour.' Over the past eight years, he's lent his talents to numerous festivals, taken off on mini-treks — like his cancelled 2019 'Big Tour' that concluded after just five shows — and headlined huge one-off gigs in his Chicago hometown but none of these outings have sent him all over the country. Prior to the release of 'Star Line,' his second studio album, Chance The Rapper (whose real name is Chancelor Johnathan Bennett) dropped the laid-back lead single 'Tree' on July 3 after debuting the track at Bridgeview, IL's Lyrical Lemonade Smash on June 22. He has since taken the bop to the stage at Chicago's Soldier Field and Lollapalooza. In regards to the record as a whole, Bennett said 'Star Line' features sounds that even 'if they're not super experimental [are] based in some of the Black music that was influential to me throughout my childhood or through my travels,' according to an interview with Rolling Stone. Want to be there? Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Chance The Rapper shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the 'And We Back Tour' is Friday, Aug. 15. Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand. They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event. Chance The Rapper set list Although his headlining sets will likely be longer, here's a look at what Chance The Rapper took to the stage (including a few surprise covers) for a Chicago Fire post-match concert at Soldier Field on July 26, according to Set List FM. 01.) 'No Problem' 02.) 'All Night' 03.) 'Blessings' 04.) '3333' 05.) 'Hot Shower' 06.) 'I Might Need Security' 07.) 'Cross Me' (Ed Sheeran cover) 08.) 'I'm the One' (DJ Khaled cover) 09.) 'Sunday Candy' (Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment cover) 10.) 'The Highs & The Lows' 11.) 'Tree' 12.) 'Same Drugs' Chance The Rapper new music As noted above, Chance The Rapper dropped his lead single 'Tree' on July 3. The 4.5-minute track starts slowly before a trademark Chance yelp gets the ball rolling. From there, the vocally-gifted rapper spits clever, incisive rhymes about ganja from his mom's perspective like 'she told me 'son, don't worry, don't you have no shame/There's gonna be frustration in this white man's game/And they're gonna have us tied up once it's legalized/Because it is a tree.' Later, he hands over the baton to Lil Wayne for an equally adventurous verse celebrating lighting up. In short, the upbeat single is somehow both a good time and cautionary tale. If you'd like to hear for yourself, you can find 'Tree' here.
