The centre-back, who has just one year left on his current deal, is believed to be on the market for around €5m (£4.3m) this summer.
However, it would seem that Le Havre may consider dropping that price in their bid to raise funds.

This is your Scottish football transfer news with all the latest rumours on Wednesday morning, including Rangers, Celtic, Dundee United and the Scotland national team. Dundee United agree deal Dundee United have confirmed their sixth signing of the summer with the arrival of centre-back Krisztián Keresztes. The 6ft 5in defender will move to Tannadice on a season-long loan deal from Hungarian top-flight club Nyíregyháza Spartacus, with the 25-year-old making his debut for the club immediately in last night's 1-1 pre-season friendly draw with St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "He has an ideal physical profile to thrive in the Scottish Premiership,' said head coach Jim Goodwin. 'He stands at a colossal six-foot-five and has the mobility to cover ground quickly, step into midfield and recover on the transition. The statistics also underline his dominance in the air - a vital asset given the importance of both attacking and defensive set-pieces in this division. Beyond his physical attributes, he reads the game exceptionally well, often positioning himself ahead of danger rather than reacting to it. That anticipation, combined with his track record of success in leadership roles, will bring added authority to our defensive unit." Dundee United Manager Jim Goodwin | SNS Group Celtic exit confirmed Celtic youngster Lenny Agbaire has ended his decade long-association at Parkhead after completing a move to Rotherham United. The 20-year-old centre-back spent last season on loan at Ayr United in the Scottish Championship, making 16 league appearances for Scott Brown's side, and played a key role in Celtic's triumph in the Scottish FA Youth Cup back in 2023. Despite being with the club since the age of 10, Agbaire did not make an appearance for the Hoops first team after signing his professional first contract with the club in 2021. Villa 'consider' McGinn U-turn Scotland international midfielder John McGinn has been linked with a potential exit from Aston Villa again this week, after it was claimed the Midlands outfit were considering laucnhing a £50million bid for Atletico Madrid and England midfielder Conor Gallagher. The 30-year-old has rumoured interest from Everton this summer, with manager David Moyes said to been on a deal for the Scottish star, though the early indications were that Villa would not entertain any bids for their popular captain. The report claims Villa could 'perform a U-turn' on McGinn should they strike up a deal for the Three Lions star, with Everton still hopeful of tempting the ex-Hibs midfielder to The Hill Dickinson Stadium. They add that any move for the Gallagher will 'clear a path' for the Toffees to launch a new bid for McGinn, providing they have not moved on to other transfer targets before that opportunity arises. The 21-year-old centre-back played 11 league games for the club after arriving on a free transfer from AC Milan last summer, but has been unable to solidify a first team spot in Govan and will be allowed to leave the club this summer if a suitable offer comes in. 'I think Clinton's at a point in his at his age and his career, he needs to play all the time and every week,' said Martin last week. "He's trained really, really well. But I think it's, rather playing some part of the squad, a bit like last season, he's at a point now where he needs to go and play football and he's the best way to learn." This has alerted both Belgian Pro League sides Zulte Waregem and Westerlo, with a report from the Daily Record stating both are considering making a loan offer for Nsiala. Elsewhere, former Rangers youngster Jay Hogarth has been handed a trial by NIFL Premiership outfit Glentoran following his release from Ibrox this summer. As reported by the Belfast News Letter, the 21-year-old is hoping to earn himself a deal at The Oval after featuring in Tuesday's pre-season friendly against Dundela, where he played the final 30 minutes of their 4-2 win. Hearts winger Alexandros Kyziridis is ready to fight after Takis Fyssas advice
Greek winger ready for the Scottish Premiership after transfer from Slovakia Sign up to our Hearts newsletter Sign up Thank you for signing up! Alexandros Kyziridis announced himself to Hearts supporters with a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-0 win at Stirling Albion. The Premier Sports Cup is a gentle introduction to Scottish football for now, but the Greek winger stressed he is ready for proper battles commencing. A minor injury prevented Kyziridis featuring in any of Hearts' first two Group E ties following his arrival from the Slovakian club Zemplín Michalovce. At Forthbank, he offered a hint of what is to come with a repertoire of dribbling runs, crosses and shots at goal. Exactly the type of wide player supporters like ahead of the new Scottish Premiership season. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad 'I'm really happy, but not too much because I could score more goals on Saturday,' said Kyziridis. 'Okay, this is football, sometimes it goes in, sometimes not. First of all, I'm happy because we won the game and we lost zero goals, so this is the most important for our team. 'I was waiting a lot for this, for this moment just to play, to enjoy my job, to enjoy what I'm doing. I waited two games but now I'm back, I'm 100 per cent healthy and I'm here to help the team. I'm here to give everything for this team, for these fans, for my team-mates, for the coaching staff, for everyone. 'Before I came here I was watching the games, so I see how the fans are and how the team is. I knew some team-mates before I came. Not the names because it was hard, to be fair, to learn the names. Now I know everyone. In the beginning, I had a little bit of a problem with the accent. It was hard for me but now I think I'm good, and at least I can understand 100 per cent of everything.' One player was more difficult to decipher than others. 'The hardest? My brother Stu [Findlay]. Oh my god. Yeah, this guy,' said Kyziridis. To ensure he wasn't totally alien to Tynecastle culture, the 24-year-old's agent sought advice from a certain Takis Fyssas. If there is one Greek who knows how to succeed in Gorgie, it is the legendary former left-back. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Hearts transfer influenced by Takis Fyssas 'My agent spoke with with Takis Fyssas. He said that I have to go here. I have to come. So I trust him and I came here,' said Kyziridis. 'He said just to enjoy what I'm doing. To enjoy every training session, every game. And this is what I'm trying to do every day - to be better and better. Every league has different things so you need to adapt. I believe that I will adapt fast and I will give my 100 per cent every game.' The physicality of Scottish football has already made an impression. 'Yeah, I was expecting this - that it will be more running, more fights. I'm ready to fight, I'm ready to run, and I'm ready to give everything,' stressed Kyziridis. 'When you have one offer from such a huge club, you cannot say 'no'. I like the project. I like Scottish football, the way the fans celebrate every game. This was what I was thinking before I said 'yes'. It was a very easy decision and I'm really happy that I made this decision.' Alongside fellow new recruit Claudio Braga, Kyziridis performs a specific celebration after scoring. Hearts fans saw this on Saturday as the player covered his own face with his other arm outstretched. The biggest surprise is the source of the routine. 'It was not some special reason,' explained Kyziridis. 'I was with my wife and we discussed things because I was struggling when I was in Hungary, I was struggling to score goal. So I had the feeling one day before the game that I would score. And then I was discussing with my wife what celebration should I do? She gave me this celebration and, because I scored, I kept it.' He is now seeking to please a new manager in Derek McInnes. 'He gave me the freedom to do my stuff, what I am able to do, and also to defend,' said the player. 'I don't like to speak so much about what the fans will expect from me. I'm just here to show every game in the field and not to talk. The fans are good for the players to get confidence. It's very helpful.'

Jakob Breum to Celtic transfer bid 'rejected' as asking price revealed for Danish star
Brendan Rodgers is on the hunt for wide men with Kuhn sold and Jota out injured until 2026 but they will have to up the ante Celtic have reportedly had a £1.5million bid rejected for Go Ahead Eagles star Jakob Breum. Brendan Rodgers is on the hunt for wide men and is said to be interested in the young Dane. Nicolas Kuhn has joined Italian side Como and Jota is sidelined until next year which has left Celtic short, with Antwerp's Belgian winger Michel-Ange Balikwisha also on their radar. However, The Celtic Way report that the Scottish Premiership champions have failed with their opening bid for the 21-year-old. Breum moved to the Dutch side from Odense in his homeland. And the report states that Celtic's offer 'for right sided attacker Breum fell well below the Dutch club's valuation of £5million'. The Eredivisie side's club director Jan Willem van Dop spoke earlier this month of interest in Breum and an offer from a 'foreign club', said to be Celtic. He said: 'The only thing that is going on and as far as we are concerned are the unsuccessful moves. There has been a bid for Jakob Breum from a foreign club 'We are so far apart there. You have to stand your ground. He may have to realise that it could be very good to stay with us at least until the winter break. 'We think that Breum and Antman should be allowed to leave for more than £5million. If that doesn't happen with this club, then maybe another one will come. 'And if not, then we hope that with all the positive feelings they have, they will stay with us and go into Europe. Then we will see during the winter break.'
