Grant Forrest congratulated by Donald Trump after winning Nexo Championship

Forrest's victory was at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen and, shortly after collecting his trophy, he was being congratulated by the owner and 47th president of the USA over FaceTime.
'I watched it… he's some player. I look forward to playing with him – in fact I will play with him tomorrow if he could get on a plane,' Trump said in the call, shared on X by the DP World Tour.

'What a round of golf. What three rounds of brilliant golf. It's a great honour you won, thank you very much.'
Forrest, who lifted his maiden DP World Tour title at St Andrews four years and two days ago, took control of windy conditions over the weekend but saw his three-shot overnight advantage trimmed to two after Todd Clements' birdie on the opening hole.
However, when Forrest birdied the fourth and Clements carded a triple-bogey eight at the same hole, the Scot led by five and never looked back.
The world number 294, who double-bogeyed the last, added two more birdies and a dropped shot in a closing 72 to finish with an eight-under-par total.

'It's amazing, just speechless,' Forrest said. 'I think it is the same week as I won four years ago on the calendar so just amazing, that must say something about this week and being at home.
'I just can't believe it. It's been such a tough year on the golf course. It's just a crazy game that you can go and come out and do this, with what feels out of nowhere.
'It's just that old chestnut that one week can turn things around and it has.'
Joe Dean nervelessly parred the last to claim solo second at four under, with John Parry one shot further behind alongside Norway's Kristoffer Reitan and Denmark's Jacob Skov Olesen.
Jordan Smith finished sixth at two under, while Clements, Andy Sullivan and Finland's Oliver Lindell were a further shot adrift – the only nine players to finish the tournament under par.

Trump invites Forrest to Oval Office in video call after Nexo Championship win

Grant Forrest thought a video call being lined up with Donald Trump was a wind-up, and said speaking to the US President after his tournament win was the most surreal experience of his career. President Trump congratulated Forrest after the Scot claimed victory at the Nexo Championshipe at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire on Sunday, in a moment Forrest described as 'bonkers'. And the Scot told STV he's not only been challenged to a game against the President in America, but has also been invited to the Oval Office. Forrest celebrated his first tour title in four years when he finished four shots clear of the chasing pack, and was already savouring a special moment with a title triumph on home soil. Celebrations turned to shock when he was asked to speak to the course owner, who famously loves his golf. 'I came off the 18th green, did my interviews and scorecard and lots of photos and stuff,' Forrest told STV. 'Then went into the clubhouse and they sort of shut off a wing and said 'Yeah, there's something else that they would like you to do. 'I was like, 'surely not?', you know. Sarah Malone, who's in charge up there, she was next to me and she's got President Trump as a contact on her phone. She presses FaceTime and I thought 'This has got to be a wind up'. 'It wasn't and he was standing there on on the tee at his golf course. Just bonkers, really.' Forrest described 'a heck of a few minutes' and doesn't think he'll experience anything comparable in the future. 'It was the most surreal experience, certainly in my golfing career. And I doubt anything will top that in terms of the wow factor. How many people get put on FaceTime to the US President. 'He was very complimentary. He loves his golf and is obviously very proud of his golf courses and they do an amazing job with every golf property they touch. 'It was a heck of a few minutes.' Having spoken over the phone, Forrest could now meet Trump face to face after being invited to Washington and for a round. 'He's told me to get on a plane and get over, but there was too much going on last night to even think about that,' Forrest said. 'If the offer's still there at another point, then when he's not too busy then absolutely. 'He also invited us to the Oval Office, which would be unreal but who knows? He's a busy man. 'Maybe when he's not too busy playing golf himself or doing presidential duties, but we'll see.' Forrest also took a moment to contemplate Trump's offer of a game and how that might go. 'He's won a few club championships, a fair few. I think even for his age, he still swings it pretty good. 'It depends on how many shots I have to give him.' And how many shots does the Nexo Championship winner think he would have to give the President of the United States? 'Probably whatever the Secret Service tell me I need to give him.' Princess, 18, is starring in her very own reality show - The Princess Diaries - which follows her journey into adulthood as she steps out of her famous parents' shadows. The teen is also seen working the camera for her first-ever solo cover shoot - and it's instantly apparent she's the daughter of one the country's most successful models. For one set of snaps, Princess stunned in a sheer pink dressing gown trimmed with fluffy faux fur. With her smokey eye make-up and perfect pout, the influencer was a double of her mum in her early modelling career. In a moment of bad timing, Pete, 52, appeared on FaceTime and even Princess picked up on how 'uncomfortable' her dad was. Speaking in her confessional, Princess said: 'I'm channelling my mum's confidence in photoshoots. This look is… something I've not actually done before. It's a little bit more grown up.' When Pete was shown his daughter's new look, clearly struggling with his words, he said: 'Right… yeah… ok.' Off camera, Princess said: 'I think it was such a big mistake to FaceTime dad. This is definitely not a dad-friendly look.' Pete is seen still adjusting to what he's seeing, and he added: 'Not my kind of thing… but you look… you look…' After the shoot wrapped, Princess reflected on the day and said: 'I did feel a bit like I was in my zone. I felt like my mum. 'When I see pictures of her when she was younger, it reminded me of that. But obviously she did topless and I will not do topless.' Princess Andre reveals what mum Katie Price thinks of her TV career after star vowed NOT to watch new show Katie, 47, made her name in the 90s as a lads' mag pin-up, posing under the pseudonym Jordan. Such was Katie's success as Jordan that she was already a multi-millionaire when she entered the I'm a Celebrity jungle in 2004 and met future husband Pete, who was then known for his 1995 hit Mysterious Girl. Meanwhile, Katie has claimed she was 'banned' from seeing her daughter when she was filming scenes for The Princess Diaries in Ibiza. Mum-of-five Katie was coincidentally on the White Island and attempted to meet up with Princess in a bar. But Katie told how she broke down in tears when producers blocked it from happening. Speaking on the latest edition of The Katie Price Show podcast, she revealed: "When I was in Ibiza, Princess was there in Ibiza, and I wasn't allowed to meet up with her. "But funny enough, I walked into a bar, and there was a group of people and it was the producer of her show, and they came up to me and said, we're producing the show. I burst out crying and this producer would know it, and said, 'I'm so upset'. ''It's my daughter. I want to be involved. But that side stops me.'"
