Air India Flight Skids Off Runway At Mumbai Airport Amid Heavy Rain; Plane Suffers Damage An Air India A320 flight from Kochi skidded off Mumbai airport's main runway during landing amid heavy rain on Monday morning. The aircraft veered around 17 metres off Runway 27, ran into an unpaved area, then moved onto a taxiway before halting. Three tyres burst, and the engine cowling was damaged, likely from debris.
