How to watch Nebraska vs Oklahoma today: Time, TV channel for the NCAA baseball tournament
The Nebraska Cornhuskers will face the Oklahoma Sooners on Friday afternoon in the Chapel Hill Regional of the NCAA baseball tournament. The Huskers defeated the UCLA Bruins 5-0 last Sunday afternoon to win the Big Ten baseball tournament. The victory also automatically qualified the Huskers for the 2025 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
Nebraska enters the tournament with an overall record of 32-27 and a 15-15 mark in the Big Ten. Oklahoma holds a record of 35-20 and a 14-16 record in the SEC. The Sooners enter the NCAA Tournament after falling to Vanderbilt in the quarterfinal round of the SEC baseball tournament.
Friday's game is the 252nd all-time meeting between Oklahoma and Nebraska. The Sooners hold a series advantage of 147-102-2. This will be the first time the two teams have met since the Shriners Children's College Showdown during the opening weekend of the 2024 season. Oklahoma won that game 7-6 with a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning.
The tournament will consist of 64 teams at 16 different four-team regional sites in a double-elimination format. Once eight teams are left, those eight teams will travel to Omaha, Nebraska, for the Men's College World Series. The 2025 tournament will feature 29 conference champions and 35 teams that receive at-large bids.
Nebraska played in the 2024 edition of the tournament and was eliminated in the regional round after finishing with a 1-2 record. The program has not won a regional since 2005, which was also the last time the Huskers appeared in the College World Series.
The Huskers will send left-handed pitcher Jackson Brockett (4-3, 3.41 ERA) to the bump to face Sooners starter and right-handed pitcher Malachi Witherspoon (3-8, 5.53 ERA).

Texas A&M will reportedly play rising Big 12 team during the 2025 season

Texas A&M will reportedly play rising Big 12 team during the 2025 season Sources: Texas A&M will play at Oklahoma State as part of its 2025-26 non-conference schedule im year one under @BuckyBasketball . The date is set for November 9th, at Gallagher-Iba Arena. OSU will play a return game at Reed Arena in '26-'27. — Billy Liucci (@billyliucci) June 2, 2025 Texas A&M's 2025 basketball season is poised to be one of the most exciting campaigns in program history, as new head coach Bucky McMillan brings an exciting play style that Aggie fans have not seen since Billy Gillispie led the program almost two decades ago. After bringing in nine players from the transfer portal, the 2025 Aggie basketball team is talented enough to compete for an NCAA Tournament bid in 2026. McMillan's coaching staff is now all but complete. While he will likely add one or two more players from the transfer portal before the season begins, we can now focus on the out-of-conference schedule, which will reportedly include a matchup with Oklahoma State in Gallagher-Iba Arena on Sunday, November 9. The Cowboys are one of the more respectable programs in the Big 12, and despite several down years, they always provide a competitive showing. Like Texas A&M football's home-to-home matchup with Notre Dame, culminating with Week 3's road match against the Irish this coming season, Texas A&M will host Oklahoma State during the 2026-2027 season, providing both teams a chance to protect home court. Like McMillan, Oklahoma State head coach Steve Lutz is one of the up-and-coming young coaches in the country. While his first season resulted in a 17-18 finish, his future is bright after bringing in six transfers this offseason. The Cowboys are expected to be competitive in the Big 12 next season. If both teams have been the home team the same number of times, it kicks to a tiebreaker awarded to whichever team has been the visiting team more often. Ryan Williams Reveals Conversation With Jeremiah Smith During College Football 26 Cover Shoot

Ryan Williams Reveals Conversation With Jeremiah Smith During College Football 26 Cover Shoot originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Alabama's Ryan Williams and Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith were two true freshmen playmakers who stole the show last season. Advertisement Both wide receivers appeared on the Freshman All-American teams and Smith broke out in a big way thanks to the Buckeyes winning a national championship. With the pending July 10 release of EA Sports College Football 26, Smith and Williams are expected to be a significant part of the game's marketing, given their status as premier players from two of college football's biggest programs. Williams, while being interviewed by On3's Andy Staples, revealed the topics of conversation shared with Smith during the game's cover shoot. "Whenever we were in Pasadena, of course, we talked about last season and him winning a national championship. I was super happy for him," Williams said. Advertisement Smith finished the 2024 season with 76 receptions for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also ran for one touchdown and rushed for 47 yards. In addition to being the Rose Bowl MVP, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound receiver was Big Ten Receiver and Freshman of the Year as well as a first-team All-American. Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Ryan Williams (2).Will McLelland-Imagn Images "But you know, we both agreed that although last year was super fun, super great and we both had good freshman seasons," Williams continued. "We left a lot on the table. Just with that experience from last season, we're still super excited for what's to come this season." Williams ended last year with 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns. He also added 48 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Advertisement Expectations for both Ohio State and Alabama are high, as it should be for two of the biggest schools in the country. In ESPN's latest way-too-early rankings, the Buckeyes are Crimson are listed at No. 5 and No. 9, respectively. Both programs have yet to name a starter at quarterback after each school lost last season's starter to the NFL draft. Alabama and Ohio State both begin next season on Aug. 30, with the Buckeyes hosting the Texas Longhorns and the Crimson Tide traveling to Tallahassee to play the Florida State Seminoles.
