Snoop Dogg and Modric put Swansea 'in different league'
Former Balon d'Or winner Modric became an investor and co-owner at Swansea in April, with rapper Snoop Dogg following suit last month.
Gorringe says the arrival of two such high-profile figures has made Swansea "interesting and exciting to people outside the city".
"Luka and Snoop have brought a whole load of additional attention to the football club and that provides a huge amount of opportunity," Gorringe said at a fans' forum held at the Swansea.com Stadium on Wednesday.
"I think we have done a really good job of maximising what we can do on a local basis but now the parameters have moved.
"It puts us in front of different companies, different brands, and allows us to tell an authentic story to people we wouldn't have been able to get in front of before.
"We have already had discussions with brands about significant deals which would eclipse anything we have done in the past."
Gorringe said Modric and Snoop Dogg will not have specific roles at Swansea, but that both are "really keen to do whatever they can to help".
He said both new faces will visit Wales at some point in 2025-26 to watch Alan Sheehan's side in Championship action.
"They have both come in without ego, without expectation and just with the best faith to do whatever they can to make things better," Gorringe said.
"They are both contactable all the time and they want to find a way that can improve us as a football club.
"It puts us in a different league in terms of some of the things that we are able to do."
Swansea's owners, led by American duo Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen, had been keen to bring big names on board in order to increase the club's global brand.
They have been inspired by the huge progress made at Wrexham since the north Wales club's takeover by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
With profit and sustainability rules dictating much of what the club are able to do, Swansea say the goal is to improve their ability to strengthen on the pitch by increasing commercial revenue.

Liverpool to make FINAL offer to contract rebel
Liverpool's contract offers to players have elicited a mixed response lately. Trent Alexander-Arnold was the crown jewel of the academy graduates, a homegrown right-back phenomenon who simply didn't think the club was at the pinnacle of the sport, despite the Reds winning the Premier League title by 10 points over Arsenal to tie Manchester United on 20 titles. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas home range 🚨2025/26 LFC x adidas range🚨 LFC x adidas Shop the away range TODAY LFC x adidas Shop the home range today! Of course, the Reds are an elite club, but in the Englishman's mind, a move to Real Madrid was something he simply couldn't go without. He declined the club's approach and left on a 'free'. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas away range Meanwhile, the Reds' two other big leaders in Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk showed their dedication to the club by signing new deals, and committing to Liverpool until 2027 at least. Now it's Konate's turn to face the music Once Salah and Van Dijk had signed their new contracts, the fans were given a chance to breathe and forget about the complexities of player negotiations, simply focusing on celebrating the title win. But it soon became apparent that this would be a make or break summer for Ibrahima Konate and while we initially received encouragement that he would re-sign with us, nothing has happened yet. After the match against Tottenham that won Liverpool the Premier League, the Frenchman was pictured sitting in the stands at Anfield, pondering over how the celebrating fans must have felt. It made him emotional and you felt as though the bond he had with us would convince him to stay. A series of contract talks then unfolded once the season had formally drawn to a close, over six months since Liverpool first looked to negotiate with Konate to try and tie him down to a new deal. But they were unsuccessful, as differing valuations caused a breakdown in talks and now it's August, just a few days before the new season begins and we're none the wiser as to what will happen. Paris Saint Germain were said to have been interested, but their successful approach for IIlya Zabarnyi from Bournemouth suggests they may no longer be in the market for a defender. Meanwhile, Real Madrid are always on the hunt for a bargain and are even more interested when it comes to free transfers. MARCA, a Spanish website, has recently published a report on Konate's situation, claiming that it's still possible for the player to leave in finals weeks of the transfer window. In their report, it said: "Liverpool's directors don't want a repeat of the Alexander-Arnold affair, and are putting pressure on Konate in every way possible to renew his contract, all so that he doesn't leave the English club, leaving nothing or very little in return, as was the case with the now Real Madrid player, who, without the Club World Cup, would have left nothing in the Premier League champions' coffers. "As MARCA has learned, the English club plans to renew the Frenchman's contract in the coming days. If the player rejects the offer again, the situation would change radically, and the possibility of Konate being put on the market would become more than a reality. In fact, the Frenchman and Van Dijk are the only healthy centre-backs Slot currently has." Of course, the reliability of this information is to be doubted, since Liverpool would be massively shooting themselves in the foot if they allowed Konate to leave this summer. If him extending his contract isn't on the cards for us, then letting him go in January might well be a considered option. But until moves for linked players such as Marc Guehi and Giovanni Leoni are agreed, then nothing will happen with Konate regardless. He's been happy in and around the squad this summer and so there is reason to be optimistic with our chances of keeping him, but the can of works regarding his future is unlikely to be opened this summer. His importance to the side is greater than a transfer fee. Nonetheless, keep an eye on this saga, because we'll eventually get an update, positive or negative, ignoring the issue isn't an option. Eventually he'll need to face the music, just as we will as a club.

Monaco Sporting Director Plays Down Exit Rumours On €70M Rated Inter Milan Target: ‘He's In No Hurry To Leave'
The Sporting Director of Monaco says that Inter Milan target Maghnes Akliouche is in 'no hurry to leave' the club this summer. Monaco Sporting Director Thiago Scuro stated in a press conference, as reported by FCInterNews, that the Ligue 1 club are still planning to have the 23-year-old as part of their squad. Monaco forward Maghnest Akliouche has reportedly come onto the radar of Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri are aiming to make an attacking signing this summer. And the Frenchman is one potential ytarget. Akliouche would certainly be in line with Inter's efforts to lower the average age of the squad by focusing on younger players. Furthermore, the 23-year-old showed Inter how lethal he can be by scoring against them in a recent friendly match. 'He's settled in well here in Monaco,' said the executive. 'He's enjoying a lot of confidence.' Scuro added that 'No one is in any hurry.' 'Another season here with us will be beneficial for him as well. Our ambition is for him to stay here with us for a good long while.'

Narinder Kaur criticises BBC's decision to have Thomas Skinner on Strictly
TV star Narinder Kaur has criticised the BBC's decision to cast former The Apprentice candidate Thomas Skinner as a celebrity contestant on Strictly Come Dancing after saying she was told she was 'too controversial' for the show herself. It comes after Skinner met US vice president JD Vance for a barbecue and drinks, with the 34-year-old – who befriended US President Donald Trump's number two on social media platform X – describing the event as 'once in a lifetime'. In the caption of a video posted to X, Jeremy Vine panellist and former Big Brother star Kaur, 52, said: 'Apparently I was deemed too controversial for @bbcstrictly because they only hire quiet brown and black women that fit in a box. 'But you can be a white man AND be controversial and you'll be hired on the spot! Hello Thomas Skinner!!' In a statement, she added: 'There's only so much you can say in a short video, but I felt something many others have been feeling all day and that was complete shock and utter bewilderment – to see Thomas be announced in the line-up, considering all the rhetoric about how people with right-wing opinions are cancelled and not allowed on the BBC. 'I've debated Tom on Good Morning Britain before, I supported his book release at his launch party, there is a huge disparity in what certain demographics of people are allowed to say and still get one show after another. 'I met the Strictly team at the TV Choice Awards earlier this year and got talking to one of the bookers about the show generally – and she said 'You're a bit too controversial and we can't have that for the show.'' Social media personality Skinner has been announced as one of the latest celebrities to be taking part in the upcoming series of BBC One show Strictly. He recently claimed he had received 'death threats' and 'vile comments about my children', following a series of social media posts claiming 'something's gone wrong' in the UK, and saying 'there is nothing wrong with being proud of where you're from'. In other posts, which drew criticism from some of his followers, Skinner said it is 'not far-right' to be 'flying your flag and loving your country', and he complained 'it ain't safe out there anymore' in London, saying the city is 'hostile' and 'tense'. Following the post complaining about alleged abuse, Mr Vance replied with a picture of a cartoon character typing on a keyboard and a message that read: 'Hang in there, my friend. Remember that 90 percent of people attacking your family look like this.' After the Strictly announcement, Skinner said in a social media post: 'They say don't read the comments on social media. But I couldn't help myself. I've had absolute pellets all day on my Instagram lost about going on Strictly… Why are some people so angry that don't even know me.' Among the other celebrity contestants confirmed for Strictly this year are former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison and Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis. They join the likes of podcast host and YouTube star George Clarke, RuPaul's Drag Race UK finalist La Voix, former England rugby player Chris Robshaw, and model and CBBC actress Ellie Goldstein, who is to become the first contestant with Down's syndrome to take part in Strictly's full series. The line-up is completed by Love Island winner Dani Dyer-Bowen, EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Doctor Who actress Alex Kingston, and former footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. Strictly, hosted by Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in September, with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas as judges. The BBC has been approached for comment.
