Code of Silence viewers say ‘chemistry is electric' between Rose Ayling-Ellis and her hunky co-star
In the new ITV thriller, the former Eastenders star and Strictly champ plays Alison, a deaf canteen worker who is recruited by the Canterbury police to help them lip read in a case.

Soon she finds herself embroiled in the world of policing as the detectives race against time to stop a gang of criminals and their latest heist.
Her lip-reading skills become essential to the team, who have her looking through CCTV in order to interpret what the gang are saying in order to gain the upper hand.
But as she takes to the investigation, she finds herself drawn to Liam Barlow (Kieron Moore), one of the members of the gang with motivations of his own.
As the series continues to play out on ITV1, fans are gripped by Liam and Alison's growing bond, and can't get enough of it.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one fan wrote: "CodeofSilence The chemistry between #roseaylingellis & #kieronmoore is electric.
"After watching the first 2 eps have had to binge watch the next 4 because I can't wait to see what happens next."
"Love the chemistry between Alison and Liam loving #CodeOfSilence," said another.
"#CodeOfSilence alison and liam the bad boy they are so cute together !," wrote a third, while a fourth said: "Boy that liam is a cutie. Next james bond !#CodeOfSilence"
Those watching the show on ITV1 are only halfway through the gripping series, which also stars Charlotte Ritchie and Andrew Buchan in its all-star cast, others have already binged the show, which is available in full on ITVX.
For those not in the know, it's safe to say that Alison quickly gets in over her head – with her life hanging in the balance.

The show was also praised for its 'genius move' of having an ad break play out in silence – a nod to raise awareness to the themes of the show.
All the adverts shown on screen either featured sign language or would be subtitled.
Rose was also an executive producer on the show, and wanted to ensure a portrayal of a deaf person was done right.
In an interview ahead of the show's release, Rose told ITV News it was "vital" that it was shown how difficult lip-reading can be, with Alison being seen struggling as her colleagues don't talk directly to her, leaving her unable to understand what they're saying.
"There's too many myths around lip-reading," she said. "You think it's something that you just get and it's not."
She went on to explain that lip-reading also means understanding body language, facial expressions, movement and response – all things that Alison needs in the show and they were determined to examine as the series played out.

Emmerdale Dylan star reveals how 'stars aligned' on unexpected comeback story
Back in February Emmerdale viewers were stunned by a special episode which revealed what happened to April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) after she ran away from home. We saw her having a tough time living on the streets and in a squat, and how she was befriended by a young man called Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle), who was also living rough. When April returned to the village, Dylan later came looking for her. Desperate to protect his daughter, Marlon (Mark Charnock) tried to get rid of Dylan – who was battling drug addiction – by various means. Eventually Marlon agreed to pay for rehab for Dylan and the character left the village. Now he's back, and Fred Kettle told us what's in store for Dylan. 'I think Dylan's going to get introduced with a few new characters, including Ray (Joe Absolom),' he revealed. 'There's a bit of a County Lines idea there that we're going to do which has been really fun to play. It's Ray that actually helps him. He sort of takes him under his wing and helps him get away from drugs. 'I think Ray's trying to get him to gain a bit of trust. I feel like there's a little bit of a son father figure relationship going on. So Ray can gain trust to make Dylan deal drugs, basically.' Of course the main attraction of the village, as far as Dylan is concerned, is to see April again, as Fred explained. 'Their bond they had during that special episode, their time on the street, it was so special,' he said. 'They both helped each other get through really, really tough times. And when they parted, I feel like that's all Dylan would be able to think about, you know. So she's bound to be on his mind and he's bound to want to go back and see her.' These two things are quite contrasting, on the one hand dealing drugs for Ray and on the other trying to keep his life together for April. Fred said that Dylan knows that Ray is manipulating him but it's the best option he sees open to him: 'Dylan knows he's doing the wrong thing but it's more morally correct than what he was doing when he was back on the streets.' Whichever way the character goes, Fred is relishing the chance to explore the character some more. Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has been thrown into chaos as two stars quit on the very first episode of the new series after a brutal challenge led by the instructors Celeb SAS: Who Dares Wins descended into chaos tonight as two stars quit on the very first episode. The Channel 4 military competition returned to screens for its latest series on Sunday night, but things did not go entirely to plan. Fourteen celebrity recruits, including the likes of Love Island stars Chloe Burrows and Tasha Ghouri, as well as X Factor legend Lucy Spraggan and footballer Adebayo Akinfenwa amongst a host of others were put through their paces by Mark 'Billy' Billingham, Jason 'Foxy' Fox, Rudy Reyes, and Chris Oliver. One of the first phases saw the recruits turn up at an abandoned compound for a hostage rescue mission, described as the 'most dangerous' any of them can take on. Pop star Hannah Spearritt, 44, who shot to fame as part of S Club 7 before going on to an acting career with roles in shows such as Primeval and EastEnders, was seen struggling. And just moments later, it was confirmed that the Reach singer had become the first to leave the course as her co-stars speculated that she had suffered a panic attack. It comes after Channel 4 breaks silence after Gogglebox couple suddenly dumped from show. However, in a confessional aired seconds beforehand, Hannah said: "I am pretty determined. I wouldn't say I give up easily but whether I get to the end or not...I don't think I'll go on the first day because I just wouldn't forgive myself." She went onto tell instructors: "Sorry - I'm done. Sorry. I've reached a point." And she wasn't the only star to fall at the first hurdle, as dancer Louie Spence also dramatically left the show as the tough scenes unfolded. "If there was a world war and they decided they were gonna call everyone up, would I be the first to jump up and say 'Yes me?' Being surrounded my thousands of soldiers, I might just jump at it. I'd be the home guard like on Dad's Army. We'll have a gay Dad's Army. "Honestly, they wouldn't wanna mess with the gays!" But, despite his confidence, just moments later, Chris Fox described the group's effort as "abysmal" after the latest task. He reminded the recruits to think about why they were there and suggested they take things "seriously". Louie piped up: "I wanna do an immediate withdrawal. I just don't have the conviction and I feel as though I'm not dedicated enough," he said as he removed his armband. Chris gave him the chance to put his arm band back on, but Louie refused, so Chris said: "Get your kit." In a previously-filmed confessional, Louie, 56, had said: "I'm a survivor, I would keep battling to survive. I think the worst way for me to leave the course would be to choose to leave. That would really p*** me off," but just seconds later, it was confirmed that he had indeed quit the show." Prior to his swift exit, Louie had sung the praises of the directing staff on the programme, as he said: "I actually looked at them and thought, 'oh, my God', because what they do and what they've done is incredible. I could never do that for real. "Do you know what I mean? They are a different breed, like doctors and surgeons and things like that. So I did look at them in that sense and think that what they really did in their day job was incredible." And when asked for asked with what he struggled most with, he admitted: "Definitely the physical side of the course. "Even though I've struggled with my anxiety and depression, mentally I was in a really strong, good place. It wasn't about an individual which they made very clear at the beginning, it was about the group. I love being a group player, I love being with people. But in that scenario, in the reality of it when I was there, I didn't think I was capable of being a group player."

Hannah, 44, is one of 14 famous faces taking part in the gruelling Channel 4 show. 5 5 They were thrown in at the deep end - quite literally - straight out the gates. For their first challenge, the celebrities had to jump from a height into the sea before swimming to a buoy in time to be picked up by a speedboat. The Challenge was brutal for all of them, and so when it came to doing the second mission in one day, Hannah didn't look in a good way. As the celebrities stood in line carrying their large backpacks, Hannah wavered, closing her eyes and sighing, having told her co-stars on the journey there that she "felt faint". The famous faces were ordered to move off, but Hannah hung back and told the SAS instructors that she was calling it quits. Pulling off her numbered black arm band, she struggled as she said: "Sorry, I'm done." The special forces officer exclaimed: "You're kidding me?!" but Hannah weakly shook her head and said: "Sorry...I've reached a point." As she was sent away, she was then seen in a piece to camera before embarking on the mission saying: "I am pretty determined. I don't think I give up easily. "But whether I'll get to the end or not? I mean...I don't think I'll go on the first day, I just wouldn't forgive myself." Sadly, that's exactly what happened, but she wasn't the only one, as Louie Spence also quit later in the show. Paul Cattermole's death changed everything… I don't know if I'll sing with S Club again, says Hannah Spearritt Hannah's exit was leaked ahead of the series starting this evening, with a source telling MailOnline Hannah "truly believed" a stint on the programme could "turn things around for her." They added: "But sadly she just couldn't hack it and walked on the first day. It was all rather embarrassing."
