Celeb SAS thrown into chaos as two stars quit on very first episode

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has been thrown into chaos as two stars quit on the very first episode of the new series after a brutal challenge led by the instructors
Celeb SAS: Who Dares Wins descended into chaos tonight as two stars quit on the very first episode. The Channel 4 military competition returned to screens for its latest series on Sunday night, but things did not go entirely to plan.

Fourteen celebrity recruits, including the likes of Love Island stars Chloe Burrows and Tasha Ghouri, as well as X Factor legend Lucy Spraggan and footballer Adebayo Akinfenwa amongst a host of others were put through their paces by Mark 'Billy' Billingham, Jason 'Foxy' Fox, Rudy Reyes, and Chris Oliver. One of the first phases saw the recruits turn up at an abandoned compound for a hostage rescue mission, described as the 'most dangerous' any of them can take on.

Pop star Hannah Spearritt, 44, who shot to fame as part of S Club 7 before going on to an acting career with roles in shows such as Primeval and EastEnders, was seen struggling. And just moments later, it was confirmed that the Reach singer had become the first to leave the course as her co-stars speculated that she had suffered a panic attack. It comes after Channel 4 breaks silence after Gogglebox couple suddenly dumped from show.

However, in a confessional aired seconds beforehand, Hannah said: "I am pretty determined. I wouldn't say I give up easily but whether I get to the end or not...I don't think I'll go on the first day because I just wouldn't forgive myself." She went onto tell instructors: "Sorry - I'm done. Sorry. I've reached a point."

And she wasn't the only star to fall at the first hurdle, as dancer Louie Spence also dramatically left the show as the tough scenes unfolded. "If there was a world war and they decided they were gonna call everyone up, would I be the first to jump up and say 'Yes me?' Being surrounded my thousands of soldiers, I might just jump at it. I'd be the home guard like on Dad's Army. We'll have a gay Dad's Army.
"Honestly, they wouldn't wanna mess with the gays!" But, despite his confidence, just moments later, Chris Fox described the group's effort as "abysmal" after the latest task. He reminded the recruits to think about why they were there and suggested they take things "seriously".

Louie piped up: "I wanna do an immediate withdrawal. I just don't have the conviction and I feel as though I'm not dedicated enough," he said as he removed his armband. Chris gave him the chance to put his arm band back on, but Louie refused, so Chris said: "Get your kit."
In a previously-filmed confessional, Louie, 56, had said: "I'm a survivor, I would keep battling to survive. I think the worst way for me to leave the course would be to choose to leave. That would really p*** me off," but just seconds later, it was confirmed that he had indeed quit the show."

Prior to his swift exit, Louie had sung the praises of the directing staff on the programme, as he said: "I actually looked at them and thought, 'oh, my God', because what they do and what they've done is incredible. I could never do that for real.
"Do you know what I mean? They are a different breed, like doctors and surgeons and things like that. So I did look at them in that sense and think that what they really did in their day job was incredible." And when asked for asked with what he struggled most with, he admitted: "Definitely the physical side of the course.
"Even though I've struggled with my anxiety and depression, mentally I was in a really strong, good place. It wasn't about an individual which they made very clear at the beginning, it was about the group. I love being a group player, I love being with people. But in that scenario, in the reality of it when I was there, I didn't think I was capable of being a group player."

Pregnant Georgia Harrison displays her growing bump at ultrasound scan before enjoying a spa weekend with boyfriend Jack Stacey

Pregnant Georgia Harrison showcased her growing bump in a series of social media snaps on Saturday. The former Love Island star, 30, who is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Jack Stacey, 33, displayed her bare bump at an ultrasound scan. Elsewhere, Georgia slipped into a plunging swimsuit as she enjoyed a relaxing spa weekend at Champneys. In another slew of snaps, Georgia wore an oversized open shirt and jeans while playfully posing with a group of girl pals, who pretended to feed her grapes. Alongside the Instagram photo dump, Georgia penned: 'Here's why I didn't text you back' Georgia announced her happy news via Instagram in April after a whirlwind ten-month romance with Jack. She told followers: 'We've been keeping a secret! Me and Jack are having a baby! Due November 2025, we can't wait to welcome this little one into the world and embrace all the joy and love he or she will bring. 'I still can't believe I've finally got everything I ever wanted and I couldn't be more grateful…And just like that 2 are about to become 3.' Georgia recalled being 'kicked out of a moving car' by her first boyfriend as she discussed the 'lasting impact' of the emotional and physical abuse she suffered. Speaking in a candid new interview with Paul C Brunson on We Need To Talk on Tuesday, the TV personality said her 'first proper relationship was traumatic.' Georgia, who is now in a loving relationship and expecting her first child with her boyfriend Jack Stacey, revealed how she was left 'damaged by her other relationship experiences.' She began: 'I was 18 and it was my first proper relationship of understanding myself within a partner and unfortunately it was really emotionally and sometimes physically abusive. 'I had no idea how much verbal and physical abuse was happening. I was completely naive to this. 'The emotional abuse was more traumatic and had a far longerlasting effect on me than any of the physical abuse.' In another slew of snaps, Georgia wore an oversized open shirt and jeans while playfully posing with a group of girl pals, who pretended to feed her grapes Georgia admitted: 'He'd like hold me face down on a bed, where he'd spit in my face. He once kicked me out of a moving car, was moving slow, but it was still really traumatic. I was really bruised from the experience. 'The emotional abuse would be because he knew I'd never been naked with other men and stuff like that. He'd always say, "you might think you're good-looking with your clothes on and all boys do, but actually you're disgusting, like naked." 'Anything you can imagine that you could say to someone, he would say to me. And I would then start to believe it. 'I would get in trouble for speaking to certain people, going certain places. I just felt completely and utterly trapped. 'Those abusive relationships, they shape how you see yourself. And it's really hard to ever shake that off.' Georgia met Jack on a dating app last summer and described her pregnancy as a 'beautiful surprise'. Discussing their relationship, she admitted that it took her months to believe that 'it was actually good.' She detailed: 'I don't reckon it was until like probably 3 or 4 months in that I actually believed he was going to stick around. I was just so damaged by my other relationship experiences.' The TV personality continued: 'I was convinced that after a few months I was just going to be lovebombed and this couldn't be as good as it really was that actually it was.' 'I don't think it was until I was pregnant I was like there's no way he's ever going anywhere now. But he can still go though.' Breaking down in tears, Georgia said: 'I just love him so much. Like I can't I can't put into words how much he's changed my life. 'He's changed me completely as a person. He's made me love myself in ways I never thought I could. And he's like he supports me through everything. 'I waited my whole life for someone to treat me the way he treats me. I just feel like happy all the time. I feel like more motivated. I feel more proud of myself.'

Amanda Holden wows fans with age-defying looks as she poses with husband in romantic snap

Amanda Holden has shared a snap with her husband Chris Hughes, who she previously admitted does not like to be featured on social media, but she still posts him twice a year Amanda Holden has given followers a rare glimpse into her private life with a romantic photo of her and husband Chris Hughes, and fans can't get over how youthful the pair look. ‌ The Britain's Got Talent judge, 54, posted the picture to Instagram on Friday. In it she could be seen beaming in the arms of her long-haired husband, 51, who she has been married since 2008 after they first met in 2003. ‌ Amanda looked glamorous as always in her black chiffon dress with a plunging neckline. In the snap Chris was standing behind her with his arms around her hips, and his jet black hair on display. This comes after Amanda stunned fans wearing a matching white bikini with her 19-year-old daughter. ‌ Warwick Davis' daughter shows off her new boyfriend as dad finds love after mum's death Kerry Katona reveals devastating her health condition after split from ex-fiancé ‌ The TV star captioned the post with her husband: "To the moon and back….8:8" with a heart and a moon emoji. The date appears to reference the Lion's Gate Portal, which is an astrological event that is supposed to be a prime time for manifesting "heart-based desires". Fans gushed over the couple in the comments. One asked: "No grey hairs – what's your secret??… Beautiful." Another wrote: "You both are not aging, which for the rest of us is dreadfully unfair." A third gushed: "As my Nan would say, what a handsome couple. You both look radiant… Chris hasn't aged in 20 years!" While Amanda is a regular on red carpets and social media, Chris is a rare presence in her public posts as he dislikes receiving public attention. In a chat with The Times last month, Amanda admitted: "He can't stand the limelight and hates red carpets, hates turning up anywhere with me, so he doesn't. Twice a year he gets forced to go on my Instagram just to prove he exists." ‌ Amanda has previously spoken about how their relationship still feels fresh after over two decades together. She told Hello! magazine: "We have ups and downs like everyone else. But when I was looking at the pain and suffering that some of the people we were working with were going through, I felt so grateful that I had somebody in my life with no complications. "My husband and I always have this joke where we go: 'God, our relationship still feels so fresh.' Twenty-two years does feel like a long time, but it still feels new to me. I think that's because it's ever-evolving." The TV star has also joked about Chris comparing her to a Sesame Street character thanks to her love of strutting her stuff at home. In an interview with The Times, she giggled: "My husband says I'm like Elmo; I go around naked all day and wear pyjamas to go to bed. It's weird. I like pyjamas buttoned up to the neck. I'm Wee Willie Winkie, even on summer holidays. I just feel snug."

Ashvin first appeared in EastEnders as the cheeky schoolmate of Martin Fowler (James Alexandrou), with the pair often getting into scrapes around Albert Square, usually leaving Martin to face the wrath of mum Pauline (Wendy Richard). His character went on to date Nicky di Marco (Carly Hillman), nurse a crush on Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) and eventually leave Walford after passing his A-levels. ‌ Away from the Square, Ashvin also appeared in children's TV favourite Grange Hill and starred in a British Airways promo video. The soap star sadly died of an aneurysm on 23 July, 2022. Health website describes an aneurysm as: "a bulge or ballooning in the wall of a blood vessel. An aneurysm can break open. This is called a rupture. A ruptured aneurysm causes bleeding inside the body. It often leads to death." Paying tribute at the time, Ashvin's family said: "Ash's unexpected passing has hit us all hard, but we want to take the time to remember his larger than life spirit." ‌ Ashvin's family added: "He loved and was loved by so many. He sang a mean karaoke tune and had a voice loud enough to hear from space! He brought laughter and the best cuddles. Please use this space to share thoughts, photos and memories. Please be respectful. "As a family we would like to ask anyone who would have made a floral tribute to instead donate to our chosen charities, the NSPCC (Ash was the ultimate Uncle) and Andy's Man Club (a charity aimed at helping men talk)." Enfield-born Ashvin studied at Bowden's Theatre School and later Chase Community School before pursuing acting. In 2004, EastEnders fans learned his character had settled in Edinburgh and was preparing to get married. The tribute page has raised £1,573.12. His funeral service took place at Enfield Crematorium on the morning of 11 August, with the family encouraging attendees not to wear black. Instead, they requested that people wear colourful attire to celebrate the late actor's life "just as he would want us to". Following the service, mourners gathered at The Cavalier pub in Barnet, where they continued to celebrate his 38 years.
