Democrats made themselves toxic — now they're addicted to their own poison
A few Democratic officeholders, activists and pundits are finally coming to their senses that their brand is toxic to a majority of the American people.
The Biden administration killed what was left of it in a number of ways.
First, it serially lied to Americans about the cognitive decline and cancerous condition of President Joe Biden, both while in and after office.

Only when caught did the complicit media 'fess up that the Biden inner circle serially misled the American people about Biden's inability to fulfill the duties of the presidency.
Second, left-wing politicos used Biden as a waxen effigy.
His job was to pose as a 'moderate' cover to push through the most radical and unpopular agenda in the last half-century.

Only that way could 'Old Joe Biden from Scranton' and his backroom handlers ram down the throat of the American people unpopular policies that nearly wrecked the country.
Third, without either a functional president or viable initiatives, the new hard-left Democrats sought to brand Donald Trump as 'Hitler' and half the country who supported him as 'fascists.'
For nearly nine years, the Democrats launched one failed hoax after another on the American people: 'Russian collusion,' 'laptop disinformation,' and the lying so-called '51 intelligence authorities.'
They proved quite willing to undermine the rule of law by manipulating the court system in efforts to destroy their bogeyman, Trump.

The people are finally tired of all the potty-mouthed Democrat videos, the congressional stunts and meltdowns, the pampered rich kids rioting on elite campuses, the knee-jerk obsessions with racial slurs, the firebombing of Tesla dealerships, the romanticization of left-wing political murderers — and always the adolescent tantrums over Trump.
The Democrats had mostly given up on democracy some 13 years ago. That was the last time they transparently and democratically nominated Barack Obama a second time as their presidential candidate.
Ever since, their nominations have been rigged.
In 2020, party insiders — terrified of the left-wing crazy primary field — forced out all the leading contenders.

Then they coronated the debilitated but still supposedly useful moderate Biden as their COVID-era candidate. Biden bragged that he would pick his vice president on the basis of race and gender.
What followed was the most bizarre campaign in history.
Biden stayed put in his basement and outsourced his candidacy to the partisan media.
Next, in 2024, they forced the now no longer useful Biden off the ticket, nullifying his 14 million primary voters.
Then, without a vote, they rammed in inept Vice President Kamala Harris as the nominee. As a failed candidate in 2020, she had never won a single delegate.
Some in the party now concede it must roust out its radicals.
But Democrats will not.
AOC and her Squad, the unhinged Jasmine Crockets of the party, and the ossified socialist Bernie Bros would demonize any Democrat who offered a sane reboot.

A few fossils in the party may think they know how to save it. But they are terrified that the medicine would be considered far worse than the illness that prompted it.
Would Democrats consider embracing measured and legal-only immigration?
No — the crazy base would scream 'xenophobe!'
A return to meritocracy and the Martin Luther King notion of race as incidental, not essential, to who we are?
That would be called 'racist.'
Maybe reforms to fix failed schools with vouchers, school choice and charter schools?
Again, 'racist!'
How about developing gas and oil reserves and nuclear power to lower energy costs for the struggling middle class?
That would be condemned as 'destroying the planet.'
Restore police forces, end critical race and legal theory, and deter criminals with tough sentencing?
How about ceasing the whiny fixations with 'white privilege' and 'white rage?'
Or quit seeing a 'white supremacist' under every bed?
Again and again, 'racist!'
The left created DEI — the use of race to adjudicate every political issue.
And like any addictive, toxic drug, they now can neither survive with DEI — nor without it.

Ukraine Deliberately Blindsided Trump Before Massive Drone Attack on Russia
President Donald Trump was deliberately left in the dark about Ukraine's unprecedented drone strike in Russia on Sunday, which destroyed nearly a third of the Kremlin's strategic bomber fleet in a surprise attack. The large-scale drone attack saw a fleet of drones scattered all across Russia carry out simultaneous attacks on five airbases, wiping out 40 irreplaceable military bombers worth an estimated $7 billion, which have been used to reign terror upon Ukrainian civilians. 'Operation Spider-Web' took over 18 months to plan and was personally overseen by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a source told CBS News. Drones were smuggled deep into Russia in wooden crates on the back of trucks, which were later opened remotely, allowing the drones to take off. Among the targets hit was the Belaya air base in Russia's far-east Irkutsk region, located more than 2,500 miles away from Ukraine. During his evening address on Sunday, Zelensky said 117 drones had been deployed in the attack, and that Ukraine's base of operations in Russia had even been located next to a branch of the FSB, Russia's intelligence agency. The White House however has declined to comment on the attack—with an administration source confirming to NewsNation on Sunday that Trump was not informed about the operation before it had taken place. While no official reason has been given for the snub, it comes just months after the U.S. announced it would stop sharing military intelligence with Ukraine unless progress was made on peace talks. Trump's longtime fondness for Vladimir Putin and public dislike of Zelensky is also likely a key factor in Kyiv's reluctance to share information with the President. Following the strike, Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to reiterate Trump's call for peace between the two nations, Axios reported on Sunday. Both Russian and Ukrainian officials will meet in Istanbul on Monday to engage in peace talks. 'We are doing everything to protect our independence, our state, and our people,' Zelensky wrote in a post on X. 'I outlined the tasks for the near term and also defined our positions ahead of the meeting in Istanbul on Monday.' The Ukrainian president said his priorities included 'a complete and unconditional ceasefire' and the return of abducted prisoners and children. Operation Spider-Web follows a similarly huge drone strike from Russia on Sunday night, in which the Kremlin launched 472 drones and seven missiles at Ukrainian military bases and infrastructure—the biggest drone attack in the war to date. 12 military personnel were killed in the attack and 60 more injured.

Trump pushes 'Big, Beautiful Bill' as solution to four years of Biden failures: 'Largest tax cut, EVER'
President Donald Trump turned to social media on Monday evening to sell Americans on his vision for the "Big, Beautiful Bill," calling it an opportunity to turn the U.S. around after what he called "four disastrous years" under former President Joe Biden. The House passed the spending bill in late May and it is now in the Senate's hands. "We will take a massive step to balancing our Budget by enacting the largest mandatory Spending Cut, EVER, and Americans will get to keep more of their money with the largest Tax Cut, EVER, and no longer taxing Tips, Overtime, or Social Security for Seniors — Something 80 Million Voters supported in November," Trump said in a post on Truth Social. "It will unleash American Energy by expediting permitting for Energy, and refilling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. It will make American Air Travel GREAT AGAIN by purchasing the final Air Traffic Control System." The president said the bill includes the construction of The Gold Dome, which he says will secure American skies from adversaries. The bill will also secure the border by building more of the wall and "supercharging the deportation of millions of Criminal Illegals" that he said Biden allowed into the U.S. "It will kick millions of Illegals off Medicaid, and make sure SNAP is focused on Americans ONLY! It will also restore Choice and Affordability for Car purchases by REPEALING Biden's EV Mandate, and all of the GREEN NEW SCAM Tax Credits and Spending," Trump wrote. "THE ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL also protects our beautiful children by stopping funding for sick sex changes for minors." The Senate returned to Washington on Monday, and in his post, Trump called on his Republican allies in Congress to work quickly to get the bill on his desk before July 4. In a separate post, Trump addressed what he referred to as false statements about the bill, reiterating that it is the "single biggest Spending Cut in History." He noted that there will not be any cuts to Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid, adding they will be saved from "the incompetence of the Democrats." "The Democrats, who have totally lost their confidence and their way, are saying whatever comes to mind — Anything to win!" Trump said. "They suffered the Greatest Humiliation in the History of Politics, and they're desperate to get back on their game, but they won't be able to do that because their Policies are so bad, in fact, they would lead to the Destruction of our Country and almost did. "The only 'cutting' we will do is for Waste, Fraud, and Abuse, something that should have been done by the Incompetent, Radical Left Democrats for the last four years, but wasn't," he concluded. Senate Republicans will get their turn to parse through the colossal package and are eying changes that could be a hard sell for House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., who can only afford to lose three votes. Congressional Republicans are in a dead sprint to get the megabill — filled with Trump's policy desires on taxes, immigration, energy, defense and the national debt — onto the president's desk by early July. If passed in its current state, the bill is expected to add roughly $3 trillion to the national debt, including interest, according to the Committee for Responsible Federal Budget.

MAGA Svengali Wants Trump to Pull Ukraine Support Over Surprise Drone Attack
MAGA podcaster Steve Bannon is calling on President Donald Trump to nix support for Ukraine after it carried out a surprise drone attack in Russia that blindsided the White House. The attack inflicted $7 billion in damage on Sunday and destroyed a third of Russia's strategic bomber fleet. Ukrainian said the strike had been in the works for over 18 months. Bannon, one of Trump's closest confidants, commended Ukraine for executing the attack. However, he was not pleased that it occurred without Trump's knowledge, as the White House revealed on Monday. 'The White House has to condemn this immediately and pull all support,' Bannon said on his War Room podcast Monday. Bannon said Kyiv should have notified Trump of the escalation. He said the supposed betrayal, which he claims has brought the United States closer to war with Russia, must have consequences for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. 'If they did not give us a heads up on this, full stop, no minerals deal—walk away from all of it,' he said. 'They're irresponsible. They're dragging us into a kinetic third world war.' The podcaster, who served as a White House adviser during Trump's first term, went so far as to suggest that Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of Kyiv's most prominent backers in Congress, should be arrested if he does not stop traveling overseas and 'stirring it up' in Ukraine. Bannon theorized that Graham, instead of the president, may have given Ukraine the green light to attack deep into Russia. 'Lindsey Graham's over there saying: 'Hey, forget Trump. I got the House and the Senate. We're going to pass it. You're going to see something in a couple of days.' Remember that? He's stirring it up over there,' Bannon said. 'He's telling them they got backing.' Ukraine reportedly carried out its attack by smuggling drones across the Russian border in wooden crates. They were then deployed simultaneously to attack five airbases, including the Belaya airbase in the far-east Irkutsk region, 2,500 miles away from Ukraine. Bannon said he is not convinced that the attack did not involve U.S. intelligence. If Russia reaches a similar conclusion, he fears the three-year-old conflict could soon include America. 'This is a ticking time bomb,' Bannon said. 'And you see what they're going to get us into. Because now we're now, inexorably, we're being drawn into this.' Trump campaigned last year on a promise to end the war between Ukraine and Russia on day one of his presidency. That promise has fallen flat, as have any peace negotiations brokered by U.S. officials. The latest instance of talks falling through occurred on Monday, when a scheduled meeting between Russia and Ukraine to discuss peace in Turkey was brief, with no agreement reached. 'You're supposed to be in Turkey today talking peace,' Bannon said Monday, 'not 3000 miles into Russia, blowing up their strategic bombers.'
