
President Sisi checks on national security efforts in meeting with army commanders

CAIRO – 14 March 2025: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on Friday with army leaders, checking on the tasks being carried out by the Armed Forces to support the foundations of Egyptian national security across all strategic directions.
Sisi met with the commanders after performing the Friday prayers at the El-Mosheer Tantawy Mosque. The meeting coincided with celebrations of the anniversary of the Martyrs' Day and the 10th of Ramadan victories.
Sisi and the army leaders discussed various topics of importance on both international and regional levels. He expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Armed Forces in protecting the nation and safeguarding its sanctities.
The president congratulated the Armed Forces on the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victories, which coincides with Egypt's celebrations of Martyr Day.
Sisi paid tribute to the spirits of the noble martyrs, who illuminated the path with pride and dignity, continuing the journey of giving and turning the dream of national elevation and progress into a tangible reality witnessed across all sectors of the Egyptian state.
Prior to the meeting, the president listened to the Friday sermon by Sheikh Sayed Abdel Bari, titled 'Month of Victories and Martyr's Day,' highlighting the remarkable feats and heroics achieved by the Islamic world during the holy month of Ramadan.
He underscored how this blessed month has witnessed victories through sincere reliance on Allah, culminating in the clear victory on the 10th of Ramadan.
The sermon also discussed the virtue of martyrdom for the sake of Allah and the status of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to ensure the nation's security and protect its sanctities.

Egypt's PM congratulates Kamil Idris on his appointment as Sudan's New PM

Egypt's First Lady Extends Condolences to Khaled Shawky's Family
Rana Atef On Tuesday, Egypt's First Lady Entissar El Sisi Extended her condolences to the late Khaled Mohamed Shawki. Shawki sacrificed his life in a heroic act to save people from the consequences of a horrible fires. Fire started in his tank truck, therefore, he insisted to drive the burning truck to a safe point far away from factories, homes, and fuel station in 10th of Ramadan area.
