The theme of Saaree revolves around love, which turns into a massive form of obsession. It begins with a man on holiday with a group of friends. There he chances upon seeing a woman clad in a beautiful saree.
He immediately becomes obsessed with the woman, swooned by her beauty in a saree. His lust for her takes on a downright maddening level when he approaches her and gets brutally rejected.
The man's obsession then turns devious, and he becomes dangerous, as he wants nothing more than to make the woman his own by any means. His psychopathic traits begin to show, and his rash decisions not only affect the woman but also her family and everyone she's been connected with.

Kingdom Box Office Collection Day 3: Vijay Deverakonda's Film Is "Blazing Fire"
New Delhi: Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom opened its doors to the public on July 31. The film features Vijay Deverakonda in a never-seen-before avatar. As per Sacnilk, the Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial has minted Rs 2.62 crore on its first Saturday at the domestic box office across languages. With this, the total collection of Kingdom now stands at Rs 28.12 crore. The report added that the Kingdom 'had an overall 38.78% Telugu Occupancy on Saturday.' On its first day, the film minted Rs 18 crore across languages at the Indian box office. Kingdom has been produced by Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas. Sharing a poster of Vijay Deverakonda's character from the film, the makers wrote, 'That's how KINGDOM gets hailed big with the audience's love. Box Office Blockbuster Kingdom hits 53Cr+ worldwide gross in 2 days.' In a follow-up post, the production house added that Kingdom is 'blazing fire at the box office on Saturday.' It added, 'The king continues to dominate. Kingdom storms ahead with monstrous bookings 7K+ tickets every hour on BookMyShow and fans turning theatres into a festival of celebrations.' Ahead of the film's release, Vijay Deverakonda at a press meet said that this was the first time he was feeling 'calm' ahead of a release. 'Usually before a film releases, things are a little chaotic. Everyone is a little nervous, and the phone doesn't stop ringing. However, this is the first time I am feeling calm and content before the release day. In the last 2-3 years, I have had many sleepless nights. But last night, I had a good night's sleep and came here to meet you all. If I am feeling this satisfied, it's all because of the love Telugu film-goers are showering upon us, which reflects in the advance collections for Kingdom,' he said.

Vaani Kapoor has officially stepped into the OTT space with Yash Raj Films ' latest series, Mandala Murders. Departing from her usual rom-com roles, Vaani takes on the character of Rea Thomas, a determined officer from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB). In an interview with Moneycontrol, the Befikre actress opened up about her new collaboration with YRF and reflected on her journey in Bollywood, sharing some of the personal challenges she has faced along the way. Vaani Kapoor Recalls Her Struggling Days In Mumbai During the interview, Vaani reflected on her early days in Mumbai, admitting that her introverted nature made the transition even more challenging. She moved to the city without any connections, no family, no friends and no projects in hand. 'I told myself I would give this dream one or two years. If it didn't work, I'd move on," she recalled, adding that unpredictability, isolation and self-doubt were her constant companions. Vaani remembered sitting alone and wondering if she truly belonged there, but it was her self-belief that kept her going. Vaani Kapoor Gets Out Of Her Comfort Zone For Mandala Murders Vaani also talked about her decision to shift from her usual roles to opt for such a complex character like Rea Thomas. 'This was very different from anything I've tried before. Rea was someone who couldn't be read easily, aloof, trauma-stricken, and a complete observer. Most of the emotion had to come through her eyes without high-pitched dialogues or dramatic gestures," Vaani stated, revealing that the emotionally and mentally taxing role fascinated her. She further explained that consistency was the toughest part. 'You can't step out of the character's design. Action sequences, physical training, and the mental weight of trauma—it all pushed me out of my comfort zone," she added. Vaani Kapoor's Role In Mandaala Murders In the thriller series, Mandala Murders, Vaani Kapoor takes on the role of Rhea Thomas, a CIB officer grappling with PTSD while navigating a perilous world. Across eight gripping episodes, she strikes a fine balance between the role's physical intensity and emotional nuance. For audiences more familiar with Vaani's work in romantic comedies, this performance comes as a refreshing revelation. 'I genuinely enjoy slice-of-life romances and love stories that feel larger than life. But I've always wanted to explore more, to show variations in my body of work," Vaani said. Plot Of Mandala Murders Backed by YRF Entertainment, the crime thriller is inspired by the novel The Butcher of Benaras. Set in the fictional town of Charandaspur, Uttar Pradesh, the plot weaves together elements of mystery, psychological thriller and supernatural horror.
