Selena Gomez's sister loves 'auntie' Taylor Swift
The Only Murders in the Building star's younger sibling, Gracie Teefey, turned 12 on Thursday (12.06.25) and though the 32-year-old star loves spending time with the youngster, Selena admitted the tween is far more interested in her good friend.
Selena shared a video on her Instagram Story, in which she sat on a bed while Gracie was by a TV, and when the youngster hit the remote, Taylor's video for The Man began to play.
Gracie told her sister: 'There, now we can watch the video too."
Selena captioned the clip: 'When she loves auntie Taylor more than me.'
The Lose You To Love Me singer also shared a carousel of photos of herself and Gracie over the years and she couldn't help but shed a tear over their bond.
She wrote: 'Happy birthday to my baby sissy. As I cry writing this, my heart melts because I know you know I'm always on your side. No matter what. I love you baby girl [heart emojis] (sic)"
Selena and Taylor, 35, first met in 2008 when dating Nick and Joe Honas respectively, and they very quickly became friends.
Taylor previously told The Wall Street Journal in 2020: 'I knew from when I met [Selena] I would always have her back.
'In my life, I have the ability to forgive people who have hurt me. But I don't know if I can forgive someone who hurts her.'
And Selena, 32, told how they "clicked instantly"
She said: 'That was my girl. We both went through s*** at the same time. She taught me a lot about how I should be treated at a young age.'
Selena previously praised Taylor as "one of the greatest songwriters" when she ran through some of the songs on her 'At Home with Selena Gomez' playlist, which included her friend's hit track Lover.
Of the song, she said: "There's nothing really to say other than this is another song that shows her ability to take it back to the old, to also combine it with her challenging to do new things with her music. I think that's as pure as that - I'll always, not even biased, just think she is one of the greatest songwriters."

Speaking on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers,' the actor revealed that she, her mother, and her mother's pet snake stayed with Swift for two weeks. What began as a safe refuge in the singer's beautiful home turned chaotic when the snake escaped into the bathroom, leading to a frantic rescue effort and some unplanned damage to Swift's property. While she was packing to leave for work, her mother remained upstairs. She then received a phone call from her mom. It was unusual because they were in the same house. 'Your voice is super high,' Kravitz remembered telling her mother. She then recalled how her mother admitted she was 'in a little bit of a pickle.' When the actor reached upstairs, she saw that her mother was inside the bathroom, crouched in a corner, clutching the snake's tail. Orpheus, which is the name of the snake, had discovered 'a little hole in the corner' beside a built-in banquette. The gap was barely visible, yet large enough for the snake to slip inside. 'Snake tails are all muscle,' Kravitz noted. 'They're very strong.' It was getting increasingly difficult for her mom to hold him. The situation escalated quickly. As the snake kept going deeper, Kravitz — all panicky — removed the drawers from the banquette. She wanted to check if they could locate him behind them. She said that the moment felt a lot like a scene from 'Jurassic Park,' describing the sense of losing ground with each passing second. Her assistant Caroline arrived but couldn't help. Swift's house manager stepped in, grabbing a crowbar to dismantle part of the structure. 'We were ripping up the tile, scratching the walls,' she recalled. Faced with either leaving the snake in the house or damaging the bathroom, 'The Batman' actor chose the latter. In the end, the bathroom was destroyed, but they managed to save Orpheus. Later, Kravitz, with a 'very high voice,' nervously called Swift to confess and said, 'Hey, I just wanted to talk to you about something.' Before she could even explain, Swift replied, 'Is it the fact that you almost lost a snake in our house and destroyed my bathroom?' Orpheus is currently safe and sound. Taylor Swift And Blake Lively Reportedly Aren't Speaking
It sure seems like the fallout from Taylor Swift being subpoenaed in Blake Lively's lawsuit against Justin Baldoni is continuing. You might remember that, back in May of this year, reports emerged that Taylor and Blake's famous friendship — the former literally named a song after one of Blake's children, for Christ's sake — had "halted" after Taylor had become temporarily involved, seemingly against her will, in Blake's legal battle against Justin. "Taylor wants no part in this drama," a source told People at the time, while another source added that the pair "taking some space" from each other for the time being — but, also, that they're "not no longer friends," which is a fairly important distinction to make. Of course, you're also probably aware that Taylor's upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl features a song called "Ruin the Friendship," which people are already speculating is about a presumed falling-out with Blake. And while there's no official confirmation that the song is concerning itself with that topic, a new report from People suggests that Blake and Taylor's friendship is still not going very well at the moment. "Taylor and Blake aren't speaking," the source tells the publication. Yikes! These reports usually come with a bit more to them, but that's pretty much it for the moment, which We've reached out to Blake and Taylor's reps for comment, and we'll let you know if we hear back.
