Miley Cyrus Lays on Ex Patrick Schwarzenegger's Dad Arnold's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star in New Album Film
Miley Cyrus premiered her Something Beautiful visual album at Tribeca Festival in New York City on June 6
During the clip for her song "Walk of Fame," she lays on Arnold Schwarzenegger's Hollywood Walk of Fame star — over a decade after she dated his son, Patrick, from November 2014 to April 2015
Cyrus previously spoke about ending up in the ICU with an infection from making the "Walk of Fame" videoIs Miley Cyrus making a reference to her past relationship with Patrick Schwarzenegger?
The Grammy-winning superstar, 32, premiered the accompanying film for her new Something Beautiful album at Tribeca Festival in New York City on June 6, and in one scene from the project she lays on Patrick's father Arnold Schwarzenegger's Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
The moment aptly occurs during the clip for Cyrus' album track "Walk of Fame," a collaboration with Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes featuring lyrics about the experience of being famous and how it takes over one's life.
"Ooh, yeah, it's a walk of fame / And through the tears, I can see it so clear / Walk away, walk away," sings the Hannah Montana alum on the track's chorus.
In the "Walk of Fame" visual, Cyrus struts down the actual Hollywood Walk of Fame and prominently lays down on Arnold's star — a decade after she dated Patrick from November 2014 to April 2015.
The "Flowers" singer, who's now been dating boyfriend Maxx Morando since late 2021, fully committed to her vision for the "Walk of Fame" music video — and ultimately wound up in the ICU as a result.
In a recent Jimmy Kimmel Live! interview, Cyrus spoke about filming the clip in the middle of the night to no one else would be on the sidewalks, as they didn't have the budget to officially reserve the space.
At one point, however, she "caught something" — seemingly from the sidewalk. She reflected on feeling "lucky" to not have needed to get a "hypodermic needle" in her body. "Because I filmed this video in October, and by November on Thanksgiving, I was put in ICU," she said.
Cyrus stressed that her tenure in the intensive care unit was "just for a moment" since the less-serious emergency room was full of Thanksgiving-related visitors.
"My leg began to disintegrate ... around the kneecap area," she detailed of the infection. "And then the doctor goes, 'Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?'"

"I had to tell him," continued Cyrus. "To have a surgeon look at you and say, 'Yuck...' They open up cadavers. They see inside the guts of humans, and they're looking at me, telling me I'm disgusting. And they do brain operations!"
Needless to say, filming the video was an unforgettable experience. "Have you been to the Walk of Fame in the middle of the night?" she asked Kimmel. "I thought it was my last day."

‘I Didn't Know.' One Thing Miley Cyrus Wishes She Could Go Back And Change About Hannah Montana's Later Years
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Nearly 20 years after it premiered, Hannah Montana remains a pop culture favorite among fans that can be rewatched with a Disney+ subscription. Its impact on the entertainment industry turned Miley Cyrus into the youngest celeb inducted as a Disney Legend. Despite going through her many different eras and struggling with fame after the show ended, both Hannah Montana and the Hannah persona still mean a lot to the 'Something Beautiful' singer, but there is still at least one thing Cyrus would change about the Disney show. One of the best things about Hannah Montana, if not the best thing, is Miley Cyrus' talents as a singer and performer IRL. Not only did Cyrus put on the wig and outfits and perform actual concerts, but she also had a hand in writing some of Hannah's biggest hits. She was inspired to lend more of her voice after her attempts to maturate the character went unfulfilled. Speaking on the podcast Every Single Album, Cyrus said she now wishes she'd been just as quick to make sure her contributions were legally recognized. In her words: I didn't know to like ask for songwriting credit because I didn't even know because I'm like, well, it's going to say 'Hannah Montana' and I'm Hannah Montana, so that's enough credit for me. But now I'm like, I should have really had more credit in there because I was shaping that whole identity of the thing. And a lot of the songs were written off experiences that I was having. Fans of Hannah Montana know that there are some very personal songs, and although Cyrus shared that some tracks are 'episodic' in that they work for a specific episode or storyline, there are certainly others that more directly reflect her personal life. Her initial reasoning for not pushing for songwriting credits makes sense, since she was just a child star trying to succeed, and naively believed that portraying Hannah Montana was simply enough. Which is part of the reason why Meet Miley Cyrus was a thing. The character's second album, aptly named Hannah Montana 2, was a double album that also featured 10 songs sung by Cyrus as herself. The songs were inspired by a breakup, and she was truly able to be herself and have songwriting credits. But it gave fans just a taste of who she really is, and although Hannah was never able to veer into more mature storytelling with those songs' lyrics, Cyrus putting out her own music gave her that form of expression. Regardless of Hannah Montana's clean-cut image and Miley Cyrus trying her best to give her a mature edge, she has proven time and time again that the experience meant the world to her. She even shared an emotional letter on the show's 15th anniversary, showing that she will always be Hannah. It's hard to believe that several actresses nearly earned the lead role in Hannah Montana, such as Lucy Hale and Aly Michalka, and it's equally hard to imagine how different things would have been had Cyrus not won the executives over. It would have been nice to see a more mature Hannah from the start, but perhaps a reboot will come together in the future that finally gives the actress the chance, even if it's not part of the 2025 TV schedule.

‘Étoile': Exclusive 4-part conversation with creators, star Luke Kirby, cinematographer, and choreographer
Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino wear many hats (literally) on the sets of their TV shows — creators, writers, directors, executive producers. So over the course of their career, from Gilmore Girls to Étoile, they've built a family of trusted professionals around them to help them realize their creative vision, in front of and behind the camera. In Gold Derby's exclusive four-part "Dream Team" conversation series, they open up about how they all work together. It all starts, of course, with their own partnership. Sherman-Palladino and Palladino, who've been married for years, say they've figured out how to divide and conquer the tremendous amount of responsibility that comes with showrunning. "It's pretty organic," says Sherman-Palladino. "Frankly, when you've been doing it this long, what you want is to be jealous of something that someone else has done. ... It keeps you on your toes." More from GoldDerby Tony Talk: Dissecting those shocking wins for 'Purpose,' Nicole Scherzinger, Darren Criss, and more Behind the scenes at the Tony Awards: From Darren Criss to Andrew Lloyd Weber, backstage at Broadway's biggest night 'Legend of Zelda' movie delayed, Snoop Dogg biopic cast, and more of today's top stories When it comes to casting, the Palladinos are known for relying on a troupe of actors and bringing them to each subsequent series. So after Luke Kirby's Emmy-winning turn in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, it comes as little surprise that they would put him center stage in Étoile. "When writing is as good as theirs is, it's a really good idea, I think, to get out of your own way," says Kirby. "Having a kind of faith in the words can really bring you into new worlds that you don't expect. Their writing is very, very nuanced. I think it's to be deeply felt." To create the look of Étoile, they turned once again to "genius" cinematographer M. David Mullen, the man responsible for making Mrs. Maisel, well, marvelous. "To have somebody be able to go along on that ride and then take what is in your head, understand what it is you're talking about, and then blow it up into this majestic piece that is so much better than you even thought it could be, that's very rare," says Sherman-Palladino, who calls Mullen her "film school." And finally, there's "secret weapon" Marguerite Derricks, the choreographer who's been helping their shows dance since the days of Bunheads. "I wouldn't want to do dance just for dance anymore," says Derricks. "Dance driving the story is just magic. It's really magic. I feel bad for any choreographer that does not get to work with Amy and Dan." These articles and videos are presented by Prime Video. Judge Throws Out Justin Baldoni's Defamation Lawsuit Against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
The post Judge Throws Out Justin Baldoni's Defamation Lawsuit Against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds appeared first on Consequence. A vast majority of Justin Baldoni's $400 million civil lawsuit against Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds was thrown out by a judge on Monday. Per People, Judge Lewis J. Liman granted a motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed by Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Parties, against Lively and Reynolds, which alleged extortion and defamation related to allegations Lively has made about Baloni occurring on the set of the film It Ends With Us. Baldoni does have the option of amending the lawsuit for breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract and re-filing by June 23rd. Additionally, Judge Liman dismissed Baldoni's separate defamation lawsuit against the New York Times over its reporting on Lively's allegations and her subsequent lawsuit against the actor/director 'The Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her [California Civil Rights Department] complaint, which are privileged,' Judge Liman wrote in the opinion and order filing. 'The Wayfarer Parties have alleged that Reynolds and [publicist Leslie] Sloane made additional statements accusing Baldoni of sexual misconduct and that the Times made additional statements accusing the Wayfarer Parties of engaging in a smear campaign. But the Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Reynolds, Sloane or the Times would have seriously doubted these statements were true based on the information available to them, as is required for them to be liable for defamation under applicable law.' Lively's federal lawsuit against Baldoni remains active and is expected to go to trial in 2026. Among several allegations, Lively has accused Baldoni — who directed and co-starred in It Ends With Us — of sexual harassment, fostering a hostile work environment, and orchestrating a PR campaign to damage her reputation.
