Fashion influencer gets slammed as she goes braless in 'hideous' designer dress

Daily Mail3 days ago
Elle Ferguson has been slammed for attending a fashion show in a very revealing designer dress.
The influencer, who famously quit The Block in 2022, posted a video to Instagram on Saturday while wearing the lilac Loewe dress.
The frock, which is part of the luxury fashion house's Fall 2025 collection, featured a plunging neckline and peplum layered design around the waist.
'All I can say is THE LILAC @loewe dress is even better in real life. Such a dream to experience @jonathan.anderson last collection in real life and get to play dress ups with the collection. Big thanks to the incredible #loewe team and @mcm_pr,' she wrote.
Elle's fans flocked to the comments to slam her 'hideous' look, with many insisting the dress doesn't compliment her figure.
'Different isn't always flattering. And I'm talking about the dress not you. This dress wouldn't be flattering in anyone as it is,' one person wrote.
'That dress is hideous!' another agreed while a third added: 'God that's an ugly dress.'
'Looks so uncomfortable to wear,' one commented while another wrote: 'I don't like that dress at all, sorry.'
However some complimented her look with one writing: 'You are the full model vibe. Give this girl a catwalk.'
'Actual Supermodel,' another added.
Elle's post comes after she recently called out a series of shocking episodes from her past that she had to endure while building a successful career as a businesswoman.
The Block star and influencer took to her Instagram stories in May to a share a throwback moment that many women can relate to.
Captioning the story 'awkward question', Elle related the cringe worthy experience in the post.
'I remember so vividly sitting in a job interview (conducted by a woman) and being asked is the reason why I've come so far in my job because of the "way I looked"?'
Her fans flocked to the comments to slam Elle's 'hideous' look, with many insisting the dress doesn't compliment her figure
She also posted a single black tile with the caption, 'can I ask you a question?'
'I'm sitting here looking at you...you're an attractive looking girl...lady.
'How important does that play in getting yourself to stand out amongst the crowd?'
She posted another tile that asked, 'Do you think a man would be asked this question?' and including a 'Yes/No' dialogue box.
Elle then finished her story by posting a final tile that claimed, 'This was one of the questions I was asked in 2019 by Mark Bouris.'
The entrepreneur was referring to her guest spot on Bouris' The Mentor podcast when she was interviewed by the Wizard Home Loans founder.
During the interview, Bouris can be heard telling the former Block cast member, 'Going through life, being an attractive woman in the fashion industry, how do you reconcile that as an advantage and I think it's an advantage and how did you work it.'
Bouris continued: 'I mean there's nothing wrong with using your assets and I'm not saying you are just that, because I know people will be critical...so how do we deal with it?'
Elle replied that she has had to work 'harder' for her success in order to break through the 'Legally Blonde dumb blonde' stereotype.

Rosie O'Donnell, 63, shocks fans with a VERY trim size 12 shape thanks to 'life saver' weight loss drug Mounjaro

Rosie O'Donnell is marveling at the slimmed down figure she has achieved with the help of weight loss drug Mounjaro. The former talk show host, 63, has been taking the drug since late 2022, yet remains in disbelief over how far she has come. In her latest Instagram post, Rosie revealed she is now a size 12 - and praised the drug as a 'life saver'. Rosie showed off her dramatic results as she went shopping for a new travel outfit, her slimmed down body on display in a fitted black track suit. 'ok so went shopping to but a comfy lounge wear outfit for my 22 hour flight to australia- was undecided as i cant see myself in this new smaller body- cam n robin took this photo of me in the dressing room - i am shocked im a 12 - #mounjaro is a life saver,' she gushed in the caption. Fans were equally impressed in the comments, with one merely stating 'WOW' (along with a few emojis) in response to the picture. Kristin Chenoweth also chimed in, writing: 'You look amazing!' Another wrote: 'It is a life changing med! Not only does it help you lose weight but decreases the inflammation in your body so you feel so much better. Rosie - you look great and hope you feel great too!!' One complimented her: ''I've been needing this for years but my insurance won't cover it. You look awesome-although your Beautiful soul shines through in ANY body.' Mounjaro 'is an injectable prescription medicine that is used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar (glucose) in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus,' per the official website. Back in March of this year, O'Donnell talked about her 'shocking' new size after taking the medication. In a TikTok video uploaded at the time, she explained to her followers: 'I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight. 'But [the weight loss] is also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don't have a chef now. It's me cooking for [my child] Clay and me.' The TV personality then recalled how she went to a clothing store in Dublin and revealed she was a size large after previously wearing sizes XL or XXL. 'I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking,' the mom-of-five expressed. Being on Mounjaro has not only aided her in losing weight, but has made her feel 'healthier' and she is also 'sleeping better.' Back in January 2023, Rosie revealed she had been prescribed the medication and credited it with helping her drop 10 pounds during the holiday season. While taking her child to school, the star explained on TikTok: 'I need to let you know I've lost 10lbs since Christmas.' She added that she had been taking Mounjaro after a fan commented, 'You can't drop a bomb like that and not tell us HOW???' Rosie stated, 'Okay, so like two months ago, my doctor put me on... not Ozempic, Mounjaro? Something like that, and Repath.' She added, 'One I do every other week, and one I do once a week. And that and on Christmas, I stopped drinking anything except water. 'Now I have had champagne one night, that was a toast, and some wine one night, so it hasn't been 100% but I really stopped drinking like five or six Diet Coke's a day.' Rosie now only sticks to drinking water and has reduced her sugar intake while also sharing, 'And my appetite has decreased significantly. 'It's probably the meds, and I'm trying to move more, so all of those things combined, that's what it is.' In a recent weight loss update, she continued to marvel at her results with a photo of her doing stand-up. In the caption of the picture, the star penned to her followers: 'i cant believe this is me now #mounjaro #weightloss #bodydismorphia.'

Stranger Things star Dacre Montgomery reveals why he QUIT Hollywood after finding fame

Stranger Things star Dacre Montgomery has revealed why he stepped out of the spotlight after finding success in Hollywood. The 30-year-old Perth-born actor recently spoke with The Australian, discussing his retreat from stardom. 'I think things have changed,' he explained. 'Traditional Hollywood stars existed because there was mystery... Social media has done away with that. That's a large part of why I dropped off the map for the last five years.' He added, 'I'm not trying to compete with anyone else, I'm living my truth — and hopefully being able to pay the rent while I'm doing it.' The star first appeared on the Netflix sci-fi hit — alongside Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, and more — as Billy Hargrove in 2017's season two. 'I've given a piece of myself to every role I've played and that's largely why I've taken time off,' Dacre noted. 'Lately, there's been a lot of personal reflection about what I want in my career. I'm trying to gain a bit more control over where and what I'm working on.' Dacre will not appear in the upcoming fifth and final season of the series, as his character was killed off in season three. Fans can next see him onscreen in the psychological thriller Went Up The Hill, which will be released on August 15. He is also readying to star in his directorial debut, The Engagement Party, which was announced in September 2024. In May, the lifelong performer said in a statement shared by Deadline, 'I could not be more honoured to be directing The Engagement Party, a film with an extremely important and timely message. 'I'm equally thrilled to have such a wonderful team of collaborators to help bring this story to life.' And the star said to The Australian: 'Not to be too sadomasochistic about it, but I really believe failure and rejection are the best form of learning. 'Joel Edgerton is a great example of an Australian actor who has become a director. 'His brother Nash, a great friend and mentor, is producing this film and he's generously offered to come over and do what he does with Joel when they work together.' Dacre — whose parents also work in the film industry — told The Daily Telegraph last year that he did not plan to appear in his directorial debut, although that has since changed. He said at the time: 'I'm not looking for this to be an engine for my acting career at all. 'I want to direct, and I'm serious about directing, so I'm taking it seriously and not trying to use it as something else.' The film is an intimate and intense drama.

The Grown-Up Guide To Wearing Tomato Red Without Looking Overheated

I blame Loewe for the influx of tomato red we're seeing everywhere. It's all over Instagram's explore page, the colour of choice at press events, and running rampant in street style. This punchy shade has been dominating the fashion scene, and we can trace its rise to a few very deliberate moves. ©@kyliejenner,@mollymae, @sofiagrainge, @traceeellisross, @sophiemoulds, Getty Images In recent years, fashion has been flirting with food, evident in autumn's hot chocolate craze, summer's butter yellow and 'sardine girl' phases, and now, a fervid obsession with tomato red. Why? Food-inspired trends evoke nostalgia, indulgence, and a sense of fun. And who does it best? Designer brands like Jacquemus, Loewe and Moschino, who heavily lean into the playful and whimsical realism. One thing's for certain, Loewe's tomato clutch planted the seed for the rise of red. What started as an internet meme about an heirloom tomato looking like it could be Loewe march, quickly turned into a fully fledged accessory. And this year's Loewe's Paula's Ibiza collection continued the theme, with standout pieces including a knitted crochet tomato hat and a tomato vine bag charm - both helping to further cultivate a sartorial tomato garden. Yes, people have always worn red, but the new crop feels different: it's less classic evening glamour and more playful. Take the autumn/winter '25 runways, where brands like Pradaand Balenciaga pushed red hot looks, from oversized outerwear to maxi skirts. And on the high street, COS, H&M, and Mango all have dropped tomato-toned pieces this month alone, making tapping into the trend child's play. ©Prada A/W 2025 - Balenciaga A/W 25 So, how do you wear tomato red without it feeling all-too much? As with most things in life, the devil's in the detail. Pair striking red hues with more pared back silhouettes. Or, let one item be the focal point while keeping the rest of the look understated. I've seen red on red look incredibly chic (think Sofia Richie), when the textures and tones are intentionally matched - satin on satin, or a matte wool coat with a slightly darker leather boot. Remember: not all reds are the same. Choose a shade that complements your skin tone and note that even a subtle tweak can make a world of difference. To ease into the trend you can start with pops of red in your accessories. A structured red bag can add spice to a neutral look, red slingbacks can make denim feel intentional, and even a slick of red lipstick can nod to the trend without shouting.
