Although the pair have since reconciled, the programme was filmed in the months that followed their shock break-up.
In a clip shared from the upcoming show, Tommy could be seen opening up to his dad about his struggles and dealing with the split in the public eye but he was seemingly shut down by his father.
Tommy could be heard saying: "My life has been absolute torture for the past six months. Horrible.
"Going out in public and getting screamed at and when you go out in public and someone says something, what are you meant to do?
"Tip your head and f***ing walk on."
Tommy then goes on to suggest the reason public opinion of himself is currently low is due to "social media" and the star having a profile.
But he then added: "If you didn't [have a profile], you'd be f***ed.
"You wouldn't earn a penny.
"So, it's tough. It's just been a constant..."
An unimpressed looking John then soon cuts his son off as he defiantly said: "Yeah, it's not tough."

As Tommy pleaded that it had, John continued to fight back before asking his son: "Has anybody died?
"There's no one dead is there."
Tommy replied: "No one died, but f***ing hell."
John then said: "Your baby's healthy, you live in a nice house, you've got a good car.

"You're flying high, it is your mind taking over you. F*** 'em all!
"Live your life and enjoy what you've got or else you'll never be happy."
The pair then continued to go back and forth before John appeared to get more irate.
He stood up from the table and said to his son: "Come on man, give it a break.
"You're overthinking everything. Get a grip and know your worth and march on forward.
"And we're sat here, 'social media don't like me'.
"Get me out of here!"

Downton Abbey star dealt serious set back as BBC show cancelled after one series

The star has been dealt a major blow as her new series from an Oscar-nominated creator was axed. Downton Abbey star has been given a tough hit to her career as the BBC appeared to cancel her show from an Oscar-nominated creator after just one series. Michelle Dockery, who rose to fame as Lady Mary in the ITV show, has experienced less success with her recent television project. ‌ This Town, created by Peaky Blinders' Steven Knight, will reportedly not be returning for a second season, reports the Express. The six-part 1980s musical drama premiered on BBC One on March 31 last year. ‌ Prior to the first episode's airing, Dockery expressed her enthusiasm for her role of Estella, an alcoholic singer, stating, "She's an amazing character. I just loved her. When I read the script for the first time, I just fell in love with all of the characters in this; it's just so beautiful and relatable." ‌ In the series, Dockery was almost unrecognisable from her Downton days, sporting a huge backcombed perm, heavy eye makeup, and the iconic era's fashion trends. Her refined Downton accent was replaced with a Brummie dialect, and she showcased her impressive singing talent with a stirring rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow during a funeral scene. Like her fellow cast members, Dockery performed all her own singing in the drama, which served as Knight's homage to the West Midlands music scene in the 1980s. The programme kicked off impressively with 3.2 million viewers, but by the end of its run, it had lost a million. But it still managed to bag the Royal Television Society Award for Limited Series and Single Drama earlier this year. ‌ At the launch at the BFI in London, creator Steven expressed his optimism that the show would have a long lifespan. "I certainly have enough ideas for more episodes going forward. I hope we are with these characters for a long time to come," he stated. ‌ However, the BBC seemed to confirm that there will be no further episodes. A spokesperson commented: "We're hugely grateful to Steven Knight and the cast and crew for bringing This Town to life - in no small part due to Steven's passion for the West Midlands. "We look forward to working with him on new projects in the future, and we're in talks about what's next." ‌ Also for fans of Downton Abbey, another period drama is gaining serious popularity on the BBC. Wolf Hall is a British TV series based on two of Hilary Mantel's acclaimed novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies. This fictionalised biography follows the life of Thomas Cromwell - the influential advisor to King Henry VIII. The six-part series first aired on the BBC in 2015, directed by BAFTA-winning filmmaker Peter Kosminsky and was adapted for the screen by acclaimed screenwriter Peter Straughan. Bargain Hunt Mark Stacey's major bowel cancer surgery and life off the screen

The antiques specialist had a bowel cancer tumour surgically removed. Bargain Hunt favourite Mark Stacey is a familiar face for antiques fans. As well as his long-standing slot on the BBC show, he has also regularly shared his expertise on Flog It!, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, and Antiques Road Trip over the years. But much of his life off the screen remains unknown. ‌ Mark became fascinated with antiques as a child, when he began collecting stamps and coins. This passion evolved over time, and he began to collect small silver items and artworks, which paved the way for his career in antiques trading. ‌ The 60-year-old joined the Bargain Hunt team back in 2002 after responding to an ad in the Antiques Trade Gazette. His screen test was a triumph, securing his long-time spot on the programme. ‌ But it hasn't all been smooth sailing, as the star underwent major surgery in 2023, seeing an influx of fan support. Following the surgery to remove a bowel cancer tumour, he received an outpouring of support from fans when he shared a post-hospital photo, reported Liverpool Echo. ‌ In the post online, he said: "Thanks to Lincoln Country Hospital, had a bowel cancer tumour removed to robotics on Thursday, this pic on Friday morning." He added: "Our NHS is amazing, we must protect it." ‌ Reflecting on his career, the star said: "I don't think I could do anything other than what I do know. If I had to have a change of career, I am sure it would be something creative." He also noted the evolution of the antiques trade, offering an insight for those considering a career in the industry. He said: "The antiques trade is changing fast for anyone wanting to get into it. ‌ "It offers great fun, excitement and very little money, as a dealer that is, but you get to meet a wonderful array of eccentric people who have passion and many stories, some may even be true, but first and foremost you must research and handle lots of things and be prepared to make a loss - this is how you learn." In other Bargain Hunt news, a guest on the show was recently left in bits after finding out that the item they brought had sold for over '100 times its value.' Bargain Hunt star Irita Marriott was hosting her Discovery+ series, The Derbyshire Auction House, when she discovered a heartfelt story with guest Helen and her son Ben. ‌ While scouring their home for hidden gems, Helen presented a set of family snaps which contained original signed shots from acclaimed photographers that dated back to 1975. They included works from Graham Smith and Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen, whose pieces are now displayed in the Tate Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum. In a heartbreaking twist, it was unveiled that the photos were being auctioned to help fund the care of Helen's husband, Alan. Alan was suffering from dementia at the time and required full time care. However, he sadly passed away before the episode aired with the money being used towards his funeral. Olly Murs and his pregnant wife Amelia shower their daughter Madison, 16 months, with affection as they become ambassadors for M&S parenthood scheme

Olly Murs and his pregnant wife Amelia sweetly doted on their 16-month-old daughter Madison in new family snaps released on Sunday. The pair have been announced as brand ambassadors of M&S ' Parent Hood club, which forms part of its Sparks loyalty scheme. Singer Olly, 41, and fitness fanatic Amelia are parents to baby Madison and expecting the imminent arrival of their second child next month. In family snaps to accompany the campaign they looked every inch the doting parents as they smiled at their adorable daughter. Essex based Olly said that he and Amelia 'can't wait to get started on sharing their world as parents to two young babies, including the chaos and all that goes with it ', adding that he first heard about the scheme from Amelia herself. Amelia explained: 'I've been going to the Tuesday morning Parent Hood club at our local M&S café for the free cake offer to meet my friends and talk about all the joys of early parenting. The sleepless nights, the times you are leaving the house when you must do a U-turn for a nappy change, all the joys!'. The free cake offer forms part of the Parent Hood community that enables young parents to meet and greet others in the same stage of life over a morning hot drink with a choice of a slice of cake or a fruit pot. The Sparks scheme also gives parents 10 per cent off baby grows until their child is two years-old, alongside other tailored-made offers throughout the year. Amelia commented: 'As a family we love shopping at M&S for food and clothing, and I also really love the community at the cafes every Tuesday and of course the free cake! 'It gives you the chance to share your own experiences of parenting and sharing tips with each other. 'You come away feeling that you're not the only one finding it exhausting and sharing your views is so helpful for finding that peace of mind.' Olly is looking forward to spending more time with his young family as he admits that being on tour when Madi, as they call their daughter, was a very young baby, meant that he couldn't always be there to 'change the nappies at night-time and do the nightly feed'. 'I'm going to be around much more this time, and I can't wait for the challenges of having two under two! 'Amelia is such a calming presence and takes it all in her stride – I've learnt so much from her about being more patience and taking your time when it comes to having little ones.' Amelia and Olly announced their second pregnancy in April. In an adorable black and white video, the family of three were seen walking through the park with Madison sat on her father's shoulders. She wore a denim jacket embossed with the words 'BIG SIS', while Amelia held a reel of snaps of the baby scan. They penned in a caption: 'We're so egg-cited to share this..… Another Baby Murs on the way.' Olly and his bodybuilder partner tied the knot in July 2023 and announced the arrival of their baby girl on April 17. Just 48 hours after Amelia had given birth, the singer was back on tour supporting Take That. The singer told the crowd at the time how he had been juggling nappies and late nights, but felt guilty he had been working away from home. He said: 'It's been the most craziest time. Cos obviously on one hand I've got this beautiful baby girl, my wife is at home looking after her with the nappies, and the sleepless nights. 'And I'm on tour with Take That. I feel guilty!' Last month, Olly candidly confessed he broke down in tears after he was forced to leave her just two days after her birth. He admitted to the emotional toll the decision had on him months after when he realised he had never got to know his daughter as a baby. Speaking with new dad Mark Wright on their Heart Breakfast show, Olly confessed: 'It was really hard for me as I had to leave two days after the baby was born to go on tour with Take That.' He explained: 'I didn't really process it at the time and a few months later me and Amelia were chatting and I just broke down in tears as I never got a chance to actually get to know this little baby.' Supporting his pal amid his decision to leave his family for work commitments, Mark added: 'But you were doing it all for her future.' While touring with Take That, Olly raced home to Essex after gigs to spend time with Amelia and Madison.
