Inter Milan Could Cash In – Lazio To Target Italy U21 Star If They Can Offload Two Midfielders

Giovanni Fabbian has come to the end of his second season at Bologna.
The Italy Under-21 international joined the Rossoblu from Inter in the summer of 2023. And the Nerazzurri did not just loan him to the Emilian club – they sold him outright.
However, as part of the deal, there is a buyback option in favour of Inter.
And that clause becomes active this summer. Inter can sign Fabbian back for a fee of €12 million starting at the end of next month.

The big question then would be whether Inter will be able to sell Fabbian should they buy the midfielder back.

And according to Sky Sport Italia, the 22-year-old is a target for Lazio.
The Biancocelesti are looking to revamp their midfield for the returning Maurizio Sarri.
However, Sky report, Lazio will have to get rid of a couple midfielders before they can sign anyone new in the positions.
Firstly, Danilo Cataldi is back following the end of his loan at Fiorentina. And secondly, Sky note, there is also midfielder Toma Basic – despite being on the fringes, the Croat is still on their books.
