Love Island's Helena Ford reveals horror moment she was KNOCKED OUT by date - and reveals truth about why Justin Bieber follows her

Love Island's Helena Ford has revealed the horror moment she was knocked out during a date and shared the truth about why Justin Bieber follows her social media. Helena, 29, works as cabin crew and a travel influencer and is one of the 12 new islanders who will move into the iconic villa on Monday. The Londoner is hoping to find 'somebody funny or Northern' and has opened up about a previous dating fail while she was studying at the University of Gloucestershire. 'I went on a date when I was at uni with this guy, we were leaving this bar, and he basically tried to give me like a fireman's lift over his shoulder,' she revealed. However, things went drastically wrong during the playful lift and there was no second date afterwards. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She added: '... I just went the whole way and ended up knocking myself out.' Helena previously revealed Justin Bieber follows her on X, formerly Twitter, though she doesn't know him personally. 'Basically, when I was really, really young, I used to be like a Belieber. So, like I was just like a little fan girl for Justin Bieber,' she admitted. The pop star followed Helena's old social media account and she added: 'So yeah, he did follow me back, but that was on my old T witter account. 'It wasn't on my actual one. But when, obviously, when I was about 13, I was absolutely gassed.' The cabin crew's social media is littered with 'come with me' videos from idyllic locations including Dubai, Lake Como and Monaco. Both the epitome of a blonde bombshells with their long, flowing curls and striking features, Helena could be mistaken for Danielle Sellers. Danielle, 30, is also prolific on social media, with the former Page 3 model running a food account on Instagram named Delicious Danielle. The model first took part in the third series of Love Island in 2017 before appearing on Love Island: All Stars earlier this year. Sharing her ideal type, Helena said: 'Somebody funny or Northern. I feel like Northern people have much more banter than Southerners. 'If you look through my previous dating history, you'll see I clearly go for personality. You can pretty much laugh me into bed.' Helena does already have a connection to the villa, as a friend of show favourite Zara McDermott.

BREAKING NEWS Atlantic Starr singer Wayne Lewis dies at 68 as tributes pour in for R&B legend

Wayne Lewis of the legendary R&B band Atlantic Starr has died. The singer, songwriter, and co-founding member of the group was 68. The band announced his passing in a heartfelt Facebook post on June 6, writing: 'It's with great sadness we have to post the passing of Wayne Lewis on June 5, 2025. 'Please keep the family in your prayers and respect their privacy. #waynelewis #restinpeace #flyhigh Sunrise 4/13/1957 Sunset 6/5/2025 #restinpeaceWayne.' A cause of death has not yet been revealed. Lewis was a driving force behind Atlantic Starr, a New York-based group formed in the mid-1970s with his brothers David and Jonathan Lewis. The band rose to fame in the '80s with their signature blend of smooth soul, R&B, and pop — becoming staples on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B charts. Wayne Lewis served as both lead vocalist and keyboardist, contributing to some of the band's biggest hits, including Always, Secret Lovers, Circles, Silver Shadow, and Masterpiece. Their 1987 ballad Always hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a wedding anthem for a generation. Tributes have poured in across social media. 'A great songwriter. Atlantic Star was better once he became leader. He will be missed,' one fan wrote. Another praised him as 'a great songwriter' and 'an icon of soulful love songs.' Yet another added, 'Omg I'm devastated. I was looking forward to seeing them perform this Sunday at Capital Jazz Festival. My condolences.' Wayne co-founded Atlantic Starr in 1976 in White Plains, New York, alongside his brothers David and Jonathan Lewis, originally forming the band under the name Newban before changing it ahead of their first major label signing.

"So enjoy it and yeah take it day by day and if you can be yourself you can't really go too far wrong'. "So that's my plan. He was like 'my advice might be a bit different from others because I won'." He added: "I'm 25 and I've only had one relationship and it wasn't very long.
