Love Island viewers are left shocked at the biggest divide in show's history as tensions reach breaking point just days before finale
Called the biggest divide in the show's history, the entire series has centred around the ongoing feud between the two groups of girls: Shakira, Toni and Yas versus Meg and Helena.
The Islanders continued to take part in the tense Couple Goals challenge - but when the Islanders were asked 'Which couple are you most scared to give your honest opinion on?' shockwaves were sent through the Villa.
Shakira and Harry chose Meg and Dejon, which did not go down well.
'I think if people were honest in the first place and told us to our faces instead of saying it constantly behind our back, it would be a different story,' Meg raged.
Shakira responded: 'You throwing around the fake word is rich to be honest. I don't know why you keep acting like we're the best of mates in here.
'From day one, you were very standoffish with any girl that was posed as a threat.'
'I think you've called every single person in this Villa fake,' Meg bit back, to which Shakira said: 'No, I will never pretend to be your mate.'
Meg interrupted 'You won't be my friend on the outside' before Shakira said: 'I will never speak to you on the outside. I honestly can't stand you sometimes.'
But that wasn't all because when it comes to Meg and Dejon's turn to answer, both Meg and Blu become embroiled in a back and forth with Toni before Blu brands Toni a 'pick-me girl'.
The chaos came just two episodes after Toni brought the girls around the firepit to try and bridge the divide and call a truce.
But recent scenes have shown the divide is as strong as ever.
Viewers said: 'The divide is actually insane… i'm sat here raging at my TV screen,';
'I've watched love island since Series 1 and this series is hands down the most uncomfortable to watch. This girl divide is f****n awful. The smart ass comments thrown about, the sly digs, the ganging up on 1 girl…it's actually draining,';
'The Great Villa Divide of 2025 is alive and well,'; 'I've never seen THIS strong of a divide in the villa before,';
'so funny they had a whole convo about no more divide and now it's like even worse AHAHAHAH,';
'So much for Tonie and Meg wanting to squash the divide between the girls .. It's gone further apart since their girls intervention the other night'.
While others noted that they had never seen such a 'toxic' series, especially with the finale just days away.
They wrote: 'I've never seen such a hostile final week omg these lot are about to start a world war…
'It's the final week and there's STILL drama??? this literally never happens,' 'The most toxic love island season ever,';
'The most toxic love island season ever - they really hate each other and it will be awkward for them on the outside,';
Viewers said: 'The divide is actually insane… i'm sat here raging at my TV screen'
'This season is so toxic. The producers seem to be pushing harmful narratives but we will have confirmation when the winners are announced. That was an uncomfortable watch. Disgusting,';
'Why are the cast so toxic with each other wtf never seen anything like this imagine the reunion,'; 'THIS IS THE MOST TOXIC SEASON OF LOVE ISLAND EVER.'
The chaos of Wednesday's episode came just days after Toni pulled Meg to clear the air as she blamed the boys in the villa for the apparent divide between the girls.
The US-native, 24, pulled her fellow islander, 25, to the fire as she confess that the believed the root of all their problems were the boys.
As they sit down in the iconic villa, Toni tells her: 'What I think is the root of the divide, is really the boys.'
To which Meg says: 'It's so stupid for us to argue over these little things.'
While others noted that they had never seen such a 'toxic' series, especially with the finale just days away
Toni adds: 'I know that we're all friends at the end of the day', that prompts Meg to say: 'I'm not going to hold any grudges against what you guys said. You know I love you.'
The pair then decided to gather all of the girls over, too.
Toni said: 'At the end of the day, we know we're all friends here. They're [the boys] the problem!'
The girls all enjoy a group hug as they attempt to put all their previous issues a side.

David Beckham, 50, strips down to tiny trunks to be photographed by wife Victoria and son Cruz on lavish yacht... after being mocked by his kids for his trademark skimpy swimwear
The Beckhams have been enjoying a swanky getaway on their £16m yacht. And the fun continued on Wednesday as father David, 50, got into holiday mood by stripping down to his tiny swimwear to be photographed by son Cruz, 20, and wife Victoria, 51, on the summertime jaunt. A running joke during the holiday has been his cheeky sons Cruz and also Romeo, 22, stealing David's trademark 'budgie smuggler' style. David, whose trip is without their allegedly estranged son Brooklyn, 16, looked as buff as ever in the tiny shorts which gave his kids a run for their money. Victoria was also showing off her figure in a skimpy black swimming costume while protecting her complexion from the sun with a wide-brimmed sun hat. Victoria turned snapper to capture the best shots of her hunky husband in action David was seen readjusting his skimpy ensemble after hitting the high seas Cruz took a hilarious swipe at his father David as he mimicked him once again in a pair of tight white pants that mirrored his dad's underwear campaign on Instagram last week Cruz's look mirrored his dad's recent BOSS underwear campaign David's hard-worked frame was on full display, with his incredible six pack defying his years while his inkings drew the eye further to his frame. Last week, Cruz stripped down to some $550 (£410) white Prada budgie smugglers and frolicked on the sun deck with his bikini-clad girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, before diving into the water. Cruz's look was reminiscent of David's iconic Armani underwear campaigns, where he has previously worn white briefs to show off his muscular frame. He was again joining his parents and Jackie on the high seas, during which the aspiring musician took out his guitar to seranade his girlfriend. Posh and Becks traded in their £5million yacht for the much bigger vessel last year, and had been pictured on it sailing around Miami. The impressive looking vessel, understood to be worth £16million, was a significant upgrade on the comparatively modest 100-foot yacht reportedly purchased by Beckham in 2022. The football legend was said to have 'treated himself' to his original vessel in 2022 after being inspired by his maritime jaunts with close friends Sir Elton John and David Furnish - who often holiday at sea. A source told The Sun at the time: 'David had a look around some yachts in the summer, and decided to treat himself. He helped design the boat himself, and has been incredibly hands-on with everything. He was again joining his parents and Jackie on the high seas, during which the aspiring musician took out his guitar to seranade his girlfriend 'It's not an oligarch-style superyacht, but it's still pretty plush by anyone's standards. He was inspired after holidaying with Elton and David on their boat - and loves life on the water. 'There will be an area for the kids to snorkel, and the boat will be a brilliant base for the whole Beckham clan to have magical holidays abroad.' Earlier this week, Victoria gave a rare insight into her feelings about estranged son Brooklyn with a telling social media move. Brooklyn is the only Beckham child not on the getaway, having spent the week before in the same location with his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, and his in-laws. The eldest Beckham son looked to be missing out on a fun-filled trip, as the other offspring made the most of their trip together. Brooklyn left the south of France to return to the U.S, where he was spotted looking glum on an outing in New York with his wife and mother-in-law, Claudia, on Tuesday. Cruz enjoyed a moment alone on the boat

George And Mildred star Norman Eshley has died at the age of 80, his agent said. 'A warm, kind and grounded man with a great voice that I will miss not hearing over the phone again.' His wife Rachel said: 'Although our time together wasn't long enough I will be forever grateful for the wonderful times we shared. He was my husband and best friend and my heart will always be with him.' Eshley was educated at Bristol Grammar School and completed his training as an actor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
