Pac-Man's anniversary is on May 22, and Krispy Kreme is celebrating this year with a sweet deal for customers.
The doughnut chain is offering customers a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just 25 cents with the purchase of any dozen at regular price on the day, the company said in a news release earlier this month.
Additionally, the chain announced a collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. that celebrates the 45th anniversary of the iconic game with a new doughnut collection.
Available since May 12 for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme shops, the Krispy Kreme x Pac-Man Collection features three new doughnuts in a custom Pac-Man game dozen box.

Krispy Kreme Pac-Man doughnuts are 'sweetest in multi-player mode'
The collection is available in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme's app and website, individually and by the dozen. Customers can also get the doughnuts in a Krispy Kreme 6-pack box delivered fresh daily to select retailers.
'These all-new PAC-MAN doughnuts are sweetest in multi-player mode. So, press start on a dozen and chomp on a maze of flavors with family, friends and coworkers,' said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Growth Officer, in a news release earlier this month. 'Partnering with Bandai Namco and Pac-Man is a new high score of sweetness.'
'This year marks an incredible milestone as we celebrate PAC-MAN's legacy and his 45 years of impact,' said Karim Farghaly, senior vice president, business innovation and licensing at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., in a news release. 'We are thrilled to partner with Krispy Kreme, another beloved iconic brand, to deliver a sweet experience for fans to enjoy just in time for PAC-MAN Day.'
Strawberry Original Glazed Doughnut makes a return
As part of it's Pac-Man celebration, Krispy Kreme announced on May 20 it is bringing back its popular Strawberry Original Glazed Doughnut from Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1.
"Fans unlocked the return of the fan-favorite Strawberry Glazed Doughnuts by helping Krispy Kreme achieve a 'high score' of giving away 45,000 free Original Glazed doughnuts between May 12-18 during Hot Light hours," the company said in a news release.
The Strawberry Glazed Doughnut was introduced in 2020 and was last offered in August 2023, according to the chain. This will mark the fourth time Krispy Kreme has offered the doughnut, which features a "vibrant strawberry glaze with sweet strawberry flavor."
The special doughnut will be available in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme's app and website at participating shops. Customers can get a dozen Strawberry Glazed Doughnuts for just $5 with the purchase of any dozen at regular price May 30 through June 1.

It's official — The Hulk will return in Spider-Man 4

Mark Ruffalo is making a long awaited return to the Marvel Universe with his old friend Spidey. According to a new Hollywood Reporter article, the big green guy is coming back in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Ruffalo will be reprising his role as Bruce Banner aka The Hulk in the next Tom Holland flick. Outside of a few episodes of the animated Marvel "What if...?" episodes, this will be the first live action Hulk appearance since the 2022 "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" show on Disney Plus. Ruffalo's last Marvel movie appearance was a brief cameo in "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" in 2021. Production of the latest Spider-Man movie is supposed to begin at the end of this month in the United Kingdom. Additionally, the article claims that Michael Mando, formerly of "Better Call Saul," will be returning as the Scorpion, which he first played in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, the first Holland Spider-Man movie. Perhaps its not surprising that Ruffalo will be in the new Spider-Man, as the previous trio had a habit of pairing Tom Holland with a seasoned Marvel actor; Robert Downey Jr. (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Samuel L. Jackson (Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Benedict Cumberbatch (Spider-Man: No Way Home). In addition to Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal will reportedly reprise his role as The Punisher, the character's first appearance in the MCU outside of the Netflix superhero shows. So far, all we know about the plot is that someone will pull strings inducing Hulk, Punisher, and Spider-man into fighting one another. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. The film is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (previously behind "Shang-Chi") and written by Chris McKeen and Erik Sommers. They combined on the scripts for the previous Spider-Man flicks as well as "Ant-Man and the Wasp." The rumor mill for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has been surprisingly quiet but here's everything we've learned so far: Follow Tom's Guide on Google News to get our up-to-date news, how-tos, and reviews in your feeds. Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors Just days after it was announced that "Spider-Man 4," aka "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," was bringing Jon Bernthal in as the Punisher. The new Tom Holland-led film is officially bringing back a fan-favorite MCU hero and villain. More news: John Krasinski Announces "A Quiet Place 3' Release Date Per a report from The Hollywood Reporter, it is confirmed that the new "Spider-Man" sequel will bring back Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. That isn't the only addition, as Michael Mando will also return to the fold to portray Scorpion. It will be interesting how the plot is set up, considering Spider-Man asked Doctor Strange to make everyone forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. This includes MJ, Ned, and presumably the rest of the heroes left in the MCU. Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Sony owns the rights to the Marvel character. Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Marvel More news: Disney Sets Date for Original 'Star Wars' 50th Anniversary Re-Release It would be believed that Spider-Man might have a run-in with Dr. Bruce Banner, and would hopefully not have to fight The Hulk in the process. "Spider-Man: No Way Home" was the last film that Holland appeared in as the Web Slinger and was easily the most brazen. Not only did Doctor Strange make an important appearance and memory wipe, but the comic-loving world got to see the return of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, but Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprised their roles as Peter Parker as well. Marvel has waited a long time to start putting together the next chapter in the Holland-led universe, and it is believed that this may be the final one. Holland has spoken publicly about his desire to move away from the role entirely. There have been plenty of rumors regarding Marvel potentially moving on to feature Miles Morales in the role of Spider-Man, but recent reports indicated that MCU leader Kevin Feige has instructed everyone to not touch Morales until the "Spider-Verse" movies wrap up. Morales has become a mainstay and fan-favorite fixture in comics as Spider-Man, becoming even more popular due to the Sony video games that feature him in a prominent role, and the previously mentioned "Spider-Verse" animated films. It would be great to see him emerge in live-action, but that is likely not to happen for a few years. Whatever the case may be, Marvel has hit home runs with the current Spider-Man films, and the same should be expected from the fourth entry that features Holland. "Spider-Man 4" is due out on July 31, 2026. For more movie news, head to Newsweek Movies.
