Bipasha Basu opened up about her acting comeback, revealing that she isn't worried about it.
Bipasha Basu is all set to return to the world of acting after a hiatus since 2015's horror drama Alone. As a devoted mother, Bipasha prioritises her time with daughter Devi and wants to make her proud with meaningful projects. In a recent interview, the Race 2 actress revealed how she desires to explore new opportunities, striking a balance between her passion for acting and family commitments.
'I have worked from the age of 15, so I needed a break. When I got married, I definitely consciously stepped back. I wanted to enjoy the perks of all that I had worked hard for. Then the three years went by so fast – being in love and settling down, it was great. I don't regret any of it." Bipasha stated in an interview with ETimes.
Reflecting her motherhood journey, Bipasha revealed, 'The decision of wanting to become a mother – that was a little difficult for me. I had to make some strong decisions, and it took me some time to do that. I had a baby, and now I don't want to miss out on any time with my baby. Itni mehnat se bacha bada kiya hai. It's as simple as that."
The actress, 46, was asked if she misses facing the camera, to which she replied, 'I do miss it. I love acting. I used to do it 365 days a year. I've done it for 20 years. So, I do miss it. And it's (return to acting) going to happen soon."
Bipasha stated that she is not worried about her comeback as different types of roles are now being written for women. 'I'm not worried, that's because now it's looking good for women. There are more opportunities, there are more platforms. There are newer ways the world is looking at women, it's not stereotypical," she added.
The Dhoom 2 actress revealed that she has always tried to do something different, right from the time she began her career. 'I went against the tide always. And it's always worked for me. So, I do believe that you have to live your life. The work and your life have to kind of be in balance. Mine is not right now. It's my baby, my baby, my baby. But it is going to come. I think it is the right time. I will do it," she explained.
Bipasha Basu wants to make her daughter Devi proud with meaningful work. She also shared an adorable insight about Devi's curiosity when people take photos with her mom, showcasing a sweet glimpse into their mother-daughter bond.

Dhanashree Verma on giving love another chance post divorce with Yuzvendra Chahal: 'Agar pyaar ki baat karein toh... who doesn't want love in life?'

Dhanashree Verma is striking all the right chords—on the dance floor and in life. From delivering one of the year's catchiest bachelor party anthems with Ting Ling Sajna to gearing up for her Telugu debut Akasam Daati Vastaava, the actor-choreographer-actor is embracing a powerful new chapter. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now In an exclusive conversation with ETimes, she opened up about how dance has been her anchor through personal and professional highs and lows and how she has been dealing with constant scrutiny around her personal life. With her focus firmly on growth and creativity, Dhanashree isn't shutting the door on love—just letting it find her when the time is right. Excerpts... Public figures often find themselves at the centre of intense speculation, especially during personal transitions. How do you deal with narratives that may not always reflect your truth? The narratives circulating around me are far from the truth. None of it reflects who I am, and I don't engage with it because I know my values, my upbringing, and the kind of person I am. I've always believed in maintaining dignity and grace. Putting others down has never been my way, and it never helps anyone rise in life. What truly matters is staying focused on your work, your intentions, and the good people around you. Self-growth, self-love, and discipline have always guided me. I believe that when you waste energy on negativity, you take away from your own growth. I choose to put that energy into becoming better every day. I'm a deeply spiritual person, and my faith in God and the universe keeps me grounded. At the end of the day, I believe your success, your values, and your truth will eventually speak for themselves, and that's all that really matters. Has dance played a role in helping you cope with personal challenges? What's helped me through personal challenges is, honestly, my work, especially dance. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now But beyond that, it's been the full creative journey: acting, singing, making new music, and finally getting to do things I should've started years ago. I'm busy shooting, creating music, working on exciting songs, and spending quality time with my family. There's hardly any time to sit still, and I wouldn't want it any other way. These changes have been for the better. I feel positive, peaceful, and aligned with where I'm headed. Not many know, but I have a proper recording studio at home and am constantly surrounded by artists and creativity. That's my space now, purely artistic and forward-moving. Fitness has also played a huge role in keeping me grounded and focused. Work has always been my therapy, and staying creatively engaged is what keeps me strong. Are you open to finding love again, or is your focus solely on your career at the moment? I've always been extremely focused on my goals, whether it was during my time as a dentist or now in the entertainment industry. Back then, my aim was to be a flourishing dentist, have the best practice, and have a grateful flow of patients. I worked every single day towards being the best version of myself. When I transitioned into dance, started my own academy, choreographed, and created viral videos, my attitude remained the same. Meri classes best honi chahiye. I wanted to inspire students, share my knowledge of dance, and help build perfect personalities. It's never just about teaching steps; it's also about how you carry and present yourself in front of the audience. Ye sab sirf tabhi possible hai jab aap super focused ho. Now, with acting and singing, working in both Bollywood and the Telugu industry, my focus is exactly where it needs to be on doing bigger, better projects and entertaining people in a way that inspires them to focus on the positives. Pyaar ki baat karein, toh you can't plan these things. Aap ye decide nahi kar sakte ke main aaj ya ek saal baad pyaar mein padhungi. Love is a different entity altogether. What matters most to me is mera focus aur main apne life mein aage kya dekh rahi hoon. Right now, it's all about work, growth, and apne aap ko present karna in the best way possible. Aur agar naseeb mein achha likha hai, then why not—who doesn't want love in life? But for now, I'm focusing on my career and giving it my all.

Natasa Stankovic's BOLD Note After Divorce From Hardik Pandya: 'This Version Of Me…'

Last Updated: Natasa Stankovic, after her divorce from Hardik Pandya, shared a note expressing pride in her progress. She reflected on overcoming a challenging 2024. Model-actor Natasa Stankovic, who rebuilt her life after her divorce from cricketer Hardik Pandya last year, shared a self-directed note expressing pride in herself. She reflected on how far she has come in life after a challenging 2024. For the unversed, Natasa stays in Mumbai with her five-year-old son, Agastya. On Sunday, Natasa penned a note for herself. She flaunted her toned body in a mirror selfie and wrote, 'This version of me didn't come from luck. She came from showing up, again and again – even when it was hard, even when no one noticed. And if you're doing the same? I see you. Keep going." Take a look: Taking to the comment box, Natasa's well-wishers expressed their love and admiration for her. They wrote, 'You know you are inspiring", 'You are doing amazing please keep going", 'Slaying forever Myhh Sunshine", 'I can totally relate and feel you", 'Keep shining Queen". In an interview earlier this year, the DJ Wale Babu star acknowledged that last year was difficult for her. However, she believes that every experience has something to teach us. Natasa mentioned she has decided to move forward and is open to finding love again. 'Last year was quite challenging and I am grateful for it. As we grow wiser while going through challenges, and I just love it. Had many experiences (good and bad) so I believe that we mature with experiences and not with age," Natasa told ETimes. 'As I look to the year ahead I am definitely open to new experiences, opportunities and maybe love. I am not averse to it (falling in love). I want to embrace whatever life brings my way. I believe that the right connection happens naturally when the time is right. I value meaningful relationships, the one that are built on trust and understanding. I think love should compliment my journey and not define it," she continued. Talking about the ups and downs in her life Naasa added, 'Life doesn't always go as planned, but how you respond to challenges defines your growth. You can't look at setbacks as failures, but an experience that redirects you towards something better. Don't try to prove anyone wrong, because it is only going to cost you your peace. It's not worth it. Just forgive and move on." Natasa Stankovi was previously married to Hardik Pandya. The couple tied the knot in May 2020 and renewed their vows following Hindu and Christian rituals in February 2023. Unfortunately, their relationship couldn't stand the test of time and they announced their separation in July 2024. After the separation, Natasa faced severe trolling on social media. Despite their split, Natasa and Hardik continue to co-parent their son, Agastya. First Published: June 01, 2025, 17:26 IST
