OPENING UP
Birds Of A Feather songstress Billie previously opened up on her sexuality - before accusing a reporter of outing her.
In December 2023, Billie was the cover star for Variety magazine. In the spread, she said: "I've never really felt like I could relate to girls very well.
"I love them so much. I love them as people.
"I'm attracted to them as people. I'm attracted to them for real."
She later confirmed that she didn't mean to come out publicly at Variety's Hitmaker event on December 2.
She said, "I kind of thought, 'wasn't it obvious?'" I didn't realize people didn't know. I just don't really believe in [coming out].
"I'm just like, 'Why can't we just exist'? I've been doing this for a long time, and I just didn't talk about it. Whoops."
Billie then continued, "But I saw the article, and I was like, 'Oh I guess I came out today.' OK cool.
"It's exciting to me because I guess people didn't know, but it's cool that they know."
Although she seemed cool and composed during this red carpet exchange, Billie later accused Variety of outing her on Instagram.
On the social media site she wrote: "Thanks Variety for my award and for also outing me on a red carpet at 11 am instead of talking about anything else that matters."
The post continued: "I like boys and girls leave me alone about it please literally who cares."

Rob Rinder shares brutal Rylan admission after 'feeling sense of disappointment'

Judge Rinder star Rob Rinder has opened up about his close relationship with BBC Radio 2 presenter and Celebrity Gogglebox star Rylan Clark, and the impact it has had on his life Rob Rinder has revealed that people often feel a "sense of disappointment" when they meet him in public without Rylan Clark by his side. The 47-year-old has formed a tight-knit friendship with fellow telly presenter Rylan over the past few years. Their three-part series Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour was broadcast in May 2024. ‌ The BAFTA TV Award-winning show saw an emotional Rylan discussing his divorce from ex-husband Dan Neal. The BBC Radio 2 star has since described his journey around Italy with Rob as being "like therapy", confessing he "wasn't fully over" the break up. ‌ There have been whispers about a potential romance between the two, but Rylan recently clarified that they are "just friends". This came as he paid a heartfelt tribute to Judge Rinder star Rob on his birthday, expressing that he "loves him dearly". Now, during a fresh chat between the duo on Radio 2, Rob disclosed that fans are often let down when he attends events without former X Factor star Rylan. He shared this insight while calling into Rylan's Saturday afternoon programme. Rob said: "I keep walking up to people and they know, obviously, that we're friends, but you can feel the slight sense of disappointment that they're like, 'Oh where's Rylan?' As if I'm the warm-up act. I'm like the rubbish warm-up act that no one shows up for." Rylan, aged 36, responded: "But Rob, that's what I get. Everyone goes, 'Oh, where's Rob? Where's Rob?'". Before their Italian tour together, both Rob and Rylan experienced painful separations. The programme saw them opening up about their experiences as they bonded over a drink. ‌ After scooping a BAFTA, Rylan opened up about his personal life, saying: "For me, the show, it happened at a really weird time for me like I still wasn't fully over sort of the breakdown of my marriage and was flung with the judge. It was the best therapy I needed, put it that way." Rylan continued: "I think the journey, and I hate that word in telly but it's so true, when you watch our series, that journey from when we meet to sort of how raw, especially I was at that time." ‌ Meanwhile, Rob, who celebrated his wedding to former spouse Seth Cummings in 2013 with none other than Benedict Cumberbatch leading the ceremony, later parted ways with his partner in 2018, with sources describing the split as "very sad". Launching into TV fame with Judge Rinder in 2014, Rob has since danced his way onto shows like Strictly Come Dancing, enjoyed a spot on Celebrity Gogglebox, and popped up on Good Morning Britain. Keeping his legal wits sharp, he also serves as a junior counsel at London's prestigious 2 Hare Court. Meanwhile, Rylan first came into the limelight during 2012's X Factor run. Post-X Factor fame saw him enter the Celebrity Big Brother house in January 2013, shortly after his singing contest stint, and he's since become a familiar face on programmes such as This Morning.

In a lengthy post next to the sweet snap, Laura revealed that the couple had bought the outfit when they started trying for a baby nine years ago. Continuing the post, The Great British Bake Off star said: "Well, earlier this year, as many of you know, our prayers were finally answered. And recently we found out we're having a little boy. "I'll be honest: part of me had hoped for a girl. "But looking back, we never bought a girl's outfit – just this one. "So maybe that's the universe's way of saying this was always meant to be. I was on Bake Off and cruel trolls mocked my fertility battle - it shattered my confidence, says Laura Adlington "Now, this little outfit isn't just a symbol of hope. It's waiting, just like we are, for the little boy who was always meant to fill it." "It's been such a really long, and to be honest lonely road to get here – something many of you will know if you've followed me for a while or listened to the podcast. "We'd honestly made peace with the idea that having children might not happen for us. But about a year and a half ago, we quietly decided to give IVF a try. 5 The TV star has 'quietly been going through IVF' over the last year Credit: instagram/ "We kept it to ourselves and decided not to share online (or even with family) just so we didn't put more pressure on ourselves. "We had an unsuccessful round and a cancelled round, and then found out a couple of months ago that I was finally pregnant. "I'll be sharing a bit more over the coming weeks about our journey to get here but for now we're just really excited to share our news with you all. We honestly can't believe our luck." Back in 2022, Laura shared her dream about becoming a mum and starting a family. Two years before, Laura appeared The Great British Bake Off and made it all the way to the final, but lost out to the series' youngest-ever winner Peter Sawkins. The baking queen opened up about her struggles to conceive. Laura previously told The Sun's Fabulous Magazine: "Unless you've gone through infertility and that heartache of really wanting it and it not happening . . . it's the hardest thing I've ever gone through."

Waronker hardly came from 'nowhere' either, with a pantheon of works under his name including participating on albums for celebrated Grammy-Award winning acts. Born in Los Angeles into a prominent musical family that includes legendary producer Lenny Waronker as his dad, and classical violinist Simon Waronker as his grandpa, he started his professional journey in the alternative rock scene. While attending Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1989, he co-formed Walt Mink, an alternative rock band named after a psychology professor. Joey Waronker's drumming can be heard across an impressive roster of highly influential artists and bands. His ability to adapt his style to different genres has made him a go-to collaborator for many: Beck Waronker first gained significant recognition in the late 1990s through his extensive work with Beck. A left-handed drummer, he contributed to pivotal albums such as Odelay, Mutations, Midnite Vultures, Sea Change, Guero, Modern Guilt, and Morning Phase. He continues to tour and record with Beck periodically, a testament to their long-standing creative partnership. Elliott Smith Waronker lent his drumming talents to several tracks on two of the late Elliott Smith's critically acclaimed albums. He played on Bled White and Bottle Up and Explode! from 1998's XO, and also on Stupidity Tries from Smith's 2000 release, Figure 8. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad R.E.M. Following Bill Berry's departure in 1997, Waronker joined R.E.M. as their touring drummer in 1998, with his first performance being at the Tibetan Freedom Concert in Washington, D.C. He toured extensively with the band between 1998 and 2002 and appeared on two of their studio albums, Up (1998) and Reveal (2001). Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad What is Joey Waronker's drumming style like? Waronker has been described as someone who "makes it possible" for musicians to perform without 'showboating,' prioritising the collective sound and supporting the other musicians, rather than seeking the spotlight and allowing the music to breathe while performing. His work is noted for its "clear, focused stick sound" and "glassy crash tone," which suggests a precise and articulate approach to his instrument. His signature ride cymbal is designed for a "range of drumming styles and genres," further emphasizing his adaptability. One comment from a forum discussing his recent work with Oasis notes he is "a competent drummer," but some perceive him as "too soft to hard sound Oasis live." This suggests his subtlety might be perceived differently depending on the genre, reinforcing his nuanced approach rather than raw power. Referring to his drumming on Beck's Sea Change album, it's mentioned that the desired sound involved "not wacking the drums that hard... if you listen to those records, there is a laid back vibe about the drumming even though they are hammering at them, it's not with as much force and aggression."
