Thrillseekers can get Alton Towers three-month pass for less than price of day ticket
Alton Towers has unveiled a new summer pass that gives three months' access to the theme park.
Thrillseekers can ready themselves for a summer of excitement at a reduced cost with the new Alton Towers Resort Seasonal Pass. The incredible offer means punters can enjoy three months of fun days out at the theme park for less than the cost of a day pass.
The £59 three-month seasonal pass is cheaper than the walk-up price of £68 for a single-day ticket. So even if you only visit once during the season, you're still saving money.
The pass offers unlimited access throughout the summer, making it an ideal choice for those planning days out during the summer holidays. For adrenaline junkies, this could be the perfect opportunity to ride the Smiler and Oblivion all summer long.
It's important to note that there are certain dates when the seasonal pass cannot be used, such as the August Bank Holiday weekend and several October dates leading up to Halloween. None of the passes, including the £139 Annual Gold Pass, are valid on these dates, reports the Mirror.
One of the most sought-after passes on the market is the Merlin Annual Pass, which provides entry to their theme parks from £99.
This includes Thorpe Park and Alton Towers, as well as Legoland, the Dungeons, Madame Tussauds and even Cadbury World. The basic package costs £99 per year, although more premium packages also offer monthly payment plans.
For those who only want one theme park break, Wowcher's Attraction Breaks might be a better fit. They offer a Gulliver's Valley Resort Stay and Theme Park Entry package from £139, with availability during school holidays for families of four seeking a fun getaway
Over on Trustpilot, Alton Towers has been hailed as "magical", with one visitor commenting: "A great family day out. Service from the staff is always so friendly. A magical place."
Another guest was thrilled with the queue times for the attractions, writing: "Magnificent time at Alton Towers. All the rides were below an hour queue.
"Went as a group of 5 and we completed Smiler and Oblivion in the first 20 minutes. We then went on another 11 rides whilst doing Smiler, Oblivion, Rita, Thirteen and Nemesis twice. Our longest wait time was 50 minutes."
They further added: "Arriving early is key as they let people in before 10 to start queuing for The Smiler early.
"Had a wonderful time and was worth every penny. Amazing theme park. Workers were very nice and were always happy to help."
However, not every review was glowing, with one visitor revealing, unlike the person above, they did have some long waits. They suggested that seating should be provided in such circumstances.
They said: "As expected, when you go to a theme park there are very long queues. What you don't expect is no seating on a two-hour queue. Waiting is not a problem, standing for two hours for one ride with no chance to sit down and rest your legs and back, really is!"
Mums and dads have expressed satisfaction with how the park caters to varied age groups, with one parent remarking: "Amazing couple of days with my family.
"So much for all ages to do, and the entertainment on the field was a welcome rest for my three-year-old when the older members of our party wanted to go on the thrill rides."

Kerry Katona's daughter Heidi in tears as she recounts harrowing childhood memory
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Kerry Katona's daughter, Heidi, was reduced to tears as she recounted a harrowing childhood memory of witnessing her stepfather assault her mother. Heidi was just a child when Kerry was married to her third husband, former rugby player George Kay. Tragically, George passed away in 2019 at the age of 39 due to a drug overdose after reportedly consuming cocaine at a hotel. Now 18, Heidi - who views George as her father despite her biological dad being Kerry's second husband, taxi driver and drug dealer Mark Croft - has spoken candidly about her upbringing, confessing: "I saw things as a child I should not have seen." READ MORE - Brit gobsmacked by prices in 'unreal' Spanish supermarket and warns 'we've been had' READ MORE - One of Greece's most famous islands left 'empty' as business owner shares concerns The young woman revealed that she witnessed George physically attack her mum, who is also the mother to Kerry's 11 year old daughter Dylan-Jorge, affectionately known as DJ. On one occasion, he even threatened to kill DJ by injecting her with heroin. Heidi, who aspires to follow in her famous mother's footsteps, now harbours mixed emotions towards the man she once called dad. In her first-ever interview with The Sun, she admitted: "I am grieving for him. But I also saw my dad hitting my mum.", reports the Mirror. "She didn't realise at the time how much I saw. It has an effect on who I am now. I saw things as a child I should not have seen. Mum sent me to a therapist but I don't see the point of it. I try to be tough. Like mum I use humour to cover things up, but it's not always easy." The 44 year old Atomic Kitten singer, known as much for her turbulent personal affairs as for her musical career, is a mother of five and thrice married. Kerry Katona's eldest daughters, Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, are from her previous marriage to Westlife star Brian McFadden. Her middle children, Heidi, 18, and Max, 17, were born during her second marriage to Mark Croft. Notably, Heidi marked Father's Day by honouring Kerry on social media rather than her biological father, posting: 'The woman who did both jobs @kerrykatona7 Happy Father's Day. ' The youngest of the brood, 11 year old DJ, is from Kerry's third marriage to the late George Kay. Kerry Katona, who grew up in foster care, has seen her share of ups and downs over a 25-year spell in the spotlight, including careers in singing and reality television and experiencing bankruptcy twice. However, she has reclaimed millionaire status after starting an OnlyFans account, with her daughter Heidi divulging that Kerry sought her children's consent pre-joining the platform amidst lockdown. Heidi has spoken out about the family discussion, detailing how their mum said 'I want to do OnlyFans - tell me if you have a problem with that' and clarified the nature of the website. Heidi commented: "Lockdown meant her other work had stopped. We all agreed she should do it, she's a grown woman who makes her own decisions. "She bought us all Airpods with her earnings. I thought, 'This is great'. She's done glamour before, she's been pictured with her boobs out, there's not a huge difference. This way she takes control and makes money from her sexuality. "We didn't know at the time that she was struggling for money. She has hidden a lot from us over the years." Nowadays, her mum is living it up in a luxurious five-bedroom house in Cheshire and zipping around in a flashy Lamborghini, thanks to the cash from OnlyFans - Kerry reveals she's raking it in with feet pics. Heidi, however, has her eyes set on loftier goals; she's determined to become a solicitor or dive into property development. She's adamant about steering clear of Love Island too – she can't stand the thought of her mum spotting her snogging on telly. Brit gobsmacked by prices in 'unreal' Spanish supermarket and warns 'we've been had'
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Brits have become all too accustomed to forking out a small fortune for groceries in UK supermarkets, but venturing abroad can be a real eye-opener. For Cavan O'Grady, a trip to Spain with his mum to celebrate her 63rd birthday was a wake-up call. While staying with his aunt in La Línea de la Concepción, near Gibraltar, it was a visit to a local Carrefour supermarket that left him speechless. Basking in the 30-degree sunshine was a bonus, but what really caught Cavan's attention was the staggering difference in food prices compared to back home. The 27 year old from Birmingham took to social media, captioning a clip: "Spanish supermarkets are a different level". READ MORE - Chris Tarrant savages Phillip Schofield as he points out 'nasty little trick' READ MORE - Brooklyn Beckham's decision could leave sister Harper 'devastated' amid family feud As he wandered the aisles, he exclaimed: "TikTok, I'm going to tell you something, Spain knows how to do it in these supermarkets." Cavan was blown away by the sheer scale of the store and the freshness of the produce on offer. "This would make you want to eat like a king out here. And do you know what, price-wise, it's so much cheaper here than it is back home.", reports the Mirror. For Cavan, this was just another reason to love visiting Spain – a clear "win" in his books. One local expressed gratitude, saying: "Thank you very much for saying what no one ever says, there is good agriculture, livestock, fishing, we have everything in our country." Another person enthused: "Mercadona is one of the crown jewels." Sharing her experience, one woman said: "I live in Spain, it's a lot cheaper to live there than in the UK, the bills are cheaper too,". There were some comments suggesting that "Spain was a paradise not long ago," but lamented that now it's become "too expensive" relative to incomes. (Image: Jam Press) (Image: Jam Press) (Image: Jam Press) Cav revealed his realisation about UK prices by stating: "It showed me how we're getting absolutely had on products in the UK. I was genuinely overwhelmed by the quality and prices on offer in that Spanish supermarket." Beyond the grocery shopping experience, he was also blown away by the local gym facilities, rating them a perfect "10/10". Describing his fitness pursuits, he said: "I wanted to find a proper bodybuilding gym, which I found, and the gym is sick, the equipment's sick, and the locals are really nice and friendly," and assured that he'd be returning to that gym during his stay with his mum. In a further video comment, Cav suggested a change might be on the horizon: "TikTok, I might actually move to Spain [...] This is the life for me... Might have to be a quick move here, lads".

Brooklyn Beckham's decision could leave sister Harper 'devastated' amid family feud
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info The Beckham family has been embroiled in a bitter feud after eldest son Brooklyn, 26, allegedly severed ties with his parents and siblings amid an ongoing dispute. Brooklyn has noticeably snubbed his family on social media, recently ignoring his dad David's 50th birthday celebrations and failing to offer congratulations on his knighthood. He also neglected to pay tribute to his parents on Father's Day and Mother's Day. With his sister Harper's 14th birthday looming on July 10, Brooklyn faces a significant decision. A source revealed to MailOnline that Harper would be "devastated" if her brother fails to acknowledge her special day. READ MORE - Chris Tarrant savages Phillip Schofield as he points out 'nasty little trick' READ MORE - Edinburgh's secret tunnel 500 metres deep that let people to walk under the Forth The insider shared: "Brooklyn and Harper used to be inseparable." The source continued: "He adored her, he hopefully still does, but the problem is that Brooklyn has a track record for ignoring family birthdays now. It would be devastating for Harper not to hear from him. She hasn't done anything and she's only 13-years-old.", reports the Mirror. The family reportedly holds Nicola responsible for the rift, but they remain hopeful that Brooklyn will come to his senses. As Harper doesn't have her own Instagram account, the family typically tags her in their posts using #harperseven. Despite the underlying reasons for the disparity being hush-hush, whispers suggest that Brooklyn's partner, Nicola, aged 30, may be the wedge that has distanced him from his kin. Following the buzz that Nicola might lie at the core of the relational rift, Brooklyn publicly rallied behind his wife on Instagram. He uploaded a fond video to his Instagram with the heartfelt message: "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby." (Image: Samir Hussein/WireImage) (Image: instagram) (Image: INSTAGRAM) The lovebirds pledged their commitment in July 2020 and celebrated their union two years on. The couple honoured their heritage with a Jewish ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, nodding to both Brooklyn's distant Jewish grand-relative and Nicola's father, Nelson Peltz's faith. Nicola has become an integral part of the Beckham clan over time, frequently participating in family gatherings and gracing red carpet spectacles shoulder to shoulder with them. Brooklyn's rapport with his relatives has historically been sturdy, marked by shared vacations and joint festivities at significant events. Memorable is a clip that spread like wildfire across social platforms in 2018, capturing Brooklyn catching his dad off guard to mark his 43rd birthday celebration. David Beckham was taken by surprise at a London eatery when his son Brooklyn swooped in for a warm embrace. Recently flown in from New York, Brooklyn's unexpected appearance on his father's special day led to an emotional reunion of the two. Despite pursuing his craft away from the lens, Brooklyn Beckham hasn't lost touch with family ties as he recently celebrated his grandmother Sandra's 76th birthday. Showing strong affection, he shared a heartfelt message on social media: "Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much." Brooklyn has also become an integral part of wife Nicola's clan, sharing a close bond with her parents Nelson and Claudia. In a show of familial solidarity, Brooklyn extended heartfelt birthday greetings to his billionaire father-in-law Nelson via Instagram just yesterday. While David, Victoria and their trio Harper, Romeo, and Cruz enjoy their abode in Holland Park, London, Brooklyn and Nicola have made LA their home. Observers are keenly watching to see if Brooklyn will publicly celebrate his sister's birthday or if an omission could signify a deepening divide within the family.
